Mom

This place is really nice and all I have met was friendly staff that seem to really care and that is one of the most important things to know that the staff cares I am having a wonderful experience with Amanda and Justin and all the CNA's and help they're kidding to my mom And I hope it continues. I'm thankful for the entire staff and the type of care that they are providing to all of the seniors and elderly and those whom are sick and cannot provide for themselves and is really nice to see that there is a genuine adoration to serve the needy here

I love all the NURSES,CNA'S and all the staffs they're all very accommodating and the quality services they rendered was very satisfying

Clean rooms. Clean facility.

This place is awful. I've been give the wrong dosage of my medication. 5 times to much. The showers are cold and dirty. The food is awful. When your diabetic. They'll give you a fruit plate. Go figure. If you go out to a doctor or dialysis. If they forget to pick you up and u call the facility sometimes they dont answer the phone. Which is a common problem here. Call goes unanswered as well. The staff lies to you. Unless you speak up people go unshowered. People are not walked or taken outside. Mattresses are dirty, ripped and worn. Laundry gets lost. No follow up on patients doctors orders.

The cute decorations they have in the lobby always inspire me!

Gladstone has been a wonderful place for my Mom and they have made me feel more secure having such a caring staff. The activities girls decorate for all of the holidays and have fun games for the residents. During Covid, they have been taking precautions to keep everyone safe and although it is challenging to visit, they have been very accommodating in letting me visit my Mom every week when it was ok to do so.

Very relatable staff and my mother felt welcomed with the Spanish speaking CNA's. Very grateful to them for the care they provided.

I'm going to preference this review by saying caring for psych patients is HARD, EXHAUSTING WORK…read more I have a family member who is in their psych unit. I've found the social workers and staff to be responsive to all of my inquiries and genuinely concerned for the health, welfare and general living conditions of my family member. The facility has activities for the residents on a regular basis As with many facilities the food isn't 5 star, but we must keep in mind this is a hospital, not a resort. That being said, I do wish they would use more quality ingredients with more variety for those clients who can enjoy a more varied menu. The facility buildings are old, the maintenance staff does the best they can with what they have to work with. I suspect the owners of the facility are dealing with a limited amount of funding with what SSA and private insurance pay (plus they have to make a profit) and the general cost of healthcare rising exponentially. It has been my experience, if you want your loved one to receive good care, you have to be an involved participant in that care. Be vocal, courteous, and be relational.

Called ahead to inform that we wanted to visit an ex-inlaw in this facility. From first contact to…read moreactual visit... they rolled out red carpet. Front desk very kind and helpfull. As large as this place is, it seemed everyone new our friend well. Very clean place. Left a bit sad but knowing that our friend was being well cared for. Whilst there I conversed with a couple other persons living there. All expressed positive vibes.

They are all caring,…read moreattentive, and consistently make sure their patients are comfortable and well taken care of. You can tell they genuinely care about the people they're working with, and they always go the extra mile to make sure their patients' needs are met. Their kindness and dedication really stand out, and I truly appreciate the care they provide. Unfortunately, my experience with CNAs Giselle and Sasha has been very disappointing. I've found their attitudes to be unpleasant and felt that their interactions with patients could be much more caring and respectful. Compared with other CNAs who are attentive and compassionate, their approach has left a lot to be desired. I hope they can take this feedback seriously and work on improving their attitude and the way they interact with patients.

There are serious issues within this facility that deserve more attention than they are currently…read morereceiving. Administrator Monica Chavez appears to be prioritizing things such as decorating and having maintenance build her office rather than addressing the ongoing concerns affecting staff and patient care. There is also a concerning culture of hostility and disrespect toward CNAs. LVNs often seem to be encouraged, directly or indirectly, to treat CNAs rudely rather than work alongside them as a team. Instead of promoting cooperation and mutual respect between nursing staff, the environment creates unnecessary division, leaving CNAs without the support they need to provide proper patient care. Nursing staff should be working together for the benefit of residents, not making one another's jobs more difficult. Problems are repeatedly brought to the attention of the DSD, DON, and administration, yet staff are often made to feel as though their concerns are foolish or unimportant. Rather than taking meaningful action, management appears to turn a blind eye to problems that deserve serious attention. It is frustrating when employees attempt to advocate for residents and improve working conditions, only to feel ignored, belittled, or treated as though they are the problem. Patient care should always be the priority. It is deeply concerning to see ongoing problems affecting residents while staff struggle to do their jobs with inadequate, low-quality equipment. CNAs are expected to work harder and manage increasingly difficult circumstances without consistently receiving the proper supplies, resources, teamwork, or support they need. There are also serious concerns about residents whose conditions do not appear to improve and whether their needs are receiving the attention they deserve. These issues warrant genuine attention, accountability, and follow-through from leadership. A healthcare facility should be a place where residents receive quality care and employees can raise legitimate concerns without fear of disrespect or hostility. Instead, the current atmosphere feels discouraging and unnecessarily adversarial toward the very staff members responsible for residents' day-to-day care. Management needs to reevaluate its priorities. Patient well-being, adequate supplies, respectful leadership, teamwork between LVNs and CNAs, and accountability should come before appearances and office renovations. CNAs deserve to be treated with respect, LVNs should be encouraged to collaborate rather than undermine their coworkers, and residents deserve a facility where their needs truly come first.
