I am happy to see the cleanliness of this place. While walking in the lobby, you'll encounter a front desk reception area where you sign in. The receptionist and the security in the evening were both very nice when greeting you. You'll sign in their log in clip board, and then you'll get a visitor's stickers before going inside. The hallways are bright and we'll lit. Lots of nursing staff members working. And everything seems orderly. I'm not sure about the doctors working, I didn't see any around, nor did I had a chance to meet any docs, but I assume they come around during the day. Regardless of the lower ratings here, I'm not sure why, but everyone seemed professional and we're doing what they needed to do... cater to the patients. Unfortunately, my experience here was short lived as a visitor. My aunt passed away a couple of weeks after getting admitted here. I honestly hope it's not true from the other people's reviews here, about their loved ones leaving this world after getting admitted to this facility. Is the cleanliness and the nice staff members at the facility a big facade? I hope not. But a nurse did mention to me about my aunt being in that condition and is suffering... blah blah... that she's better leaving the world so she won't be suffering anymore. I partly agree, but it's all about God's timing. She shouldn't be saying that in the first place to anybody, especially family. It's too uncomfortable for some people to hear even though the facts are there. Anyhow, back to the facility. The parking situation is horrible. You will have to park all the way in the back parking lot. The parking spots right behind the building is for the handicap, and part of that lot is also used for storing old beds. On the other hand, the front parking lot at the entrance is for doctors only and the handicap. They should just use the rear of the building as their main entrance instead of making visitors walk all the way to the front. I'm not sure I know how to rate this place. Cleanliness is four stars, staff is four stars, but the comments made by a nurse is unacceptable, so three stars, and the parking situation is a definite one star. So overall experience and still being nice, I'll give them a weak 3.1 stars. Imo, please do your research for any of these nursing hospitals before admitting a loved one.

I've been on a waitlist for an afternoon appointment since June. No follow up. I've given up and just kept my regular schedule. 2. They have an automated text reminder. 3 times I received it and emailed them to confirm because the therapist told me she'd be out that day. Once I showed up and was told their new therapist doesn't start until a week later. Despite me getting the reminder from them. 3. I called for a day of the week change and was told they need to confirm the therapist availability and that they'll call me back once it's confirmed. I never got that call. 4. I had some problems with FSA where their receipts aren't accepted and they told me they would change my receipt from ST to say speech therapy. That never happened. Anything schedule related I just settled and work around the day he has. As far as FSA I go in have have them print me a detailed itemized receipt. Overall if you need something done and they can do it then and there, it'll be done quick. Phones and emails gets answered quickly. And you get a fast response. The problem is with their follow up and follow through. Interesting for a place that teaches speech has poor communication themselves.

At times, too many patients are scheduled at the same time, which can make it difficult to complete exercises without crossing into someone else's space. There is also no pre-warm-up or stretching before starting the routine, and hot or cold packs are not typically provided after workouts to help with soreness. I did notice that the facility has two licensed physical therapists. One thing I will say is to be prepared to work out. Compared to other physical therapy places I've been to, this location really focuses on exercise and actively working the injured areas, which can be helpful for strengthening and recovery. My main suggestion would be to upgrade to a larger space, as the current location can feel quite small for the number of patients being treated. Parking is limited usually full.

Mariah works with my son and every time he reaches his goal she provides new evaluations and appropriate individualized treatment plans for my son. Also, after every session Mariah summarizes and provides examples of my son's improvement (with data) and offers recommendations for continued growth. Mariah has also provided me with school material and collaborated with me to offer recommendations to my children's Pre School teachers. Vedali works with my daughter and I can tell that my daughter loves her speech sessions bc she is always excited about her meetings. Vedali has implemented my daughters IEP report and Kaiser's assessment to her treatment plan at DV Therapy. Like Mariah, Vedali meets with me after every session and provides me with a summary of my daughters growth and tips to continue empowering my daughters speech deficits. No. They never got back to me after I left a voicemail, filled out a new client inquiry, and emailed them on their website portal. I've even left a 1 star review on google to see if they would respond. Nothing. Still no response after several months. The lack of communication makes it difficult for caregivers to seek services for their loved ones who really need specific therapies to improve their QoL. This is ridiculous and a huge disservice for potential clients seeking help.
