Filthy nail salon and very unprofessional staff. I'm extremely unhappy with how my nails turned out. It felt like the technician wasn't paying proper attention to detail, and when I pointed it out, she became dismissive and had an attitude instead of fixing the issue. The overall atmosphere was uncomfortable. It seemed like staff were talking about me among themselves while staring, which made me feel unwelcome. Cleanliness, customer service, and quality were all lacking. I wouldn't recommend this place! read more

Referered by friend who said it was great. i arrived at appointment time and was told they were running "a little behind". No problem I thought. Forty minutes later I left. No apology, no updates. Just expected me to wait. Super disrespectful and disappointing. read more

Service is great and everyone is friendly and takes pride in their job. Always seen on time and it is comfortable while you're there having some "me" time. I've been to others nearby before finding Glad Nails. It's important to me to not be rushed, to be treated with respect and to leave happy. You'll get that here. read more

Arrived 15 minutes early. I checked in, chose my color, grabbed some magazines and sat. Packed with customers. 3 mani stations ongoing and 5 pedi chairs were full. At my designated time, masked staff took me to the pedi area. I soaked my feet while I waited for a tech. A few minutes later, my tech arrived. The leg massage is great. The nail color went fast. The tech cleaned up the excess polish. Done in 30 minutes. Waited for nails to dry and then done. Competitive price. Parking lot available. read more

I wanted to love this place, it was recommended by so many people on Nextdoor. The price is right, the vibe of the salon is great. I got dip nails, within the first week multiple nails chipped and the top coat is peeling off. I might give them another shot in the future in hopes this is just a fluke. read more

Another waste of $50. So sick of nail salons not giving a crap. First she (Lynn) burnt my nails using the drill to file off my top layer I already had on. It got super hot and hurt. Then towards the end she started really rushing... didn't file the tops of my nails to make them straight. My left hand nails are different shapes than my right and they're all uneven. Not to mention, look at my pic! They're SUPER thick at the cuticle (and uneven on a few nails) so they're not going to grow out nicely. Told me to go wash my hands and when I got back she had my stuff all ready to go, no lotion, nothing. Didn't ask me if I liked them or even let me look at them. Another terrible experience at a nail salon. Take pride in your work! So sick of wasting my money at these places. read more

Very upset as I was there for a pedicure with my daughter and paid extra for the pedicure to not get a leg massage with it. My daughter did get the leg massage and I was charged more! The technician seemed inconvenienced when I did Not like the polish she started to paint on my toe nails. The color was not as it appeared in the bottle. I wish this could have a been a better outcome and been addressed by the owner. read more

I have been going here for 3 years. I believed I scheduled an appointment for Saturday it was Friday. The owner got very mad. Yelled at me and hung up. I tried to apologize but he was having non of it. I tip $20 for my service. There are nail salons on every corner. I'll try some where else. read more

My mom and I stopped in here the day after Thanksgiving (since it was about the only place left open in town) and they fit us right in. They were down some staff, so service was slightly slow but they paid it back in extra services! I got a free leg mask and sugar scrub on the house. They were very apologetic, but without need! I got a beautiful pedi for just $28! Next time I'm back in AZ, catch me here! read more

the man that did my toes was very gentle and kind. he did a gorgeous flattering periwinkle color on my toe. and it was very challenging cuz i don't have a baby toe nail but he made it work and still painted on it he gave THE BEST leg message as well read more

I have been going to glad nails for 3 years now pretty consistently and have always loved my nails and the people working there! I am leaving for college soon but hoping to still come back on the weekends to get my nails done ! read more

I went and meeting an emergency pedicure and thought that everything was gonna be fine. They even gave me complimentary water and even set the machine for the massage correctly however, upon further inspection of my feet and noticed that there was a lot of dead skin that still has not been removed. what they did was they did a half job. It is just honestly despicable. I understand they are on a time limit but people need this stuff done correctly if you're going to try to charge all of this money. and really had the audacity to ask for tip and then when I only gave them a five dollar tip, they seem as though that was offensive like how do you expect me to tip you and you have not even removed all the calluses from my feet. overall, the atmosphere was pretty good. The TV is definitely helped the experience as it distracted me from getting a little bit frustrated the service was so bad to the point that I have to go to another nail salon for them to do a convoy. I still have so much dead skin that has not been removed that experience. Overall, if I could give them a zero star rating I'd give them a zero. read more

This little business is a great example of good management and diligent workers. It is always clean. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and important to them. They also always remember your name. My wife and I are happy to make them part of our family. read more

I have been going to Glad for years. Wonderful family owned business. Very clean, great nail techs, super accommodating. They do a very nice job. Recently I switched to gel nails and they are beautiful for weeks. I've gone to other places when traveling and the nails chip or come up. Never happens when I go to Glad. I often go in the evening and watch the thorough cleaning routine. They disassemble the foot baths, fully bleach all pieces. Tools are in sanitized sleeves. Great shop, reasonable prices and I always leave with beautiful nails. read more

I had been going to Lynn for years, giving good tips, Christmas cash and gifts, lemons to the shop. She burned me a few time with no apology, but I kept going. Then one appointment she would hardly speak and over-charged me. I notified the owner to have her call me, which she did not. I have found another salon. read more

Not very happy. Was under the impression that my nails would cost about $35 and ended up paying $60 + a $10 tip. They made it confusing when all I wanted was gel french tipped nails. The girl took over an hour to do my nails; which is way too long - at other places it takes them 30-40 minutes. The gel nails are not filed enough and they look bulky :( they also try to get you to pay more by asking if you want to use "gel polish" cause it "lasts longer". When I pick my color at the beginning, that's what I want, I don't want any other suggestions! They did not conversation with me, they spoke in Vietnamese to each other the whole time and I had to talk to other clients next to me since I was sitting there for a long time. I won't be going back here. read more

have been going here for years...off and on. back to my original nail salon. kevin has done my nails a few times and they are GREAT and lasted really well. the enclosed pic is of my last gel polish called "cat's eyes". it is 4 WEEKS OLD...hench the grown out nails you'll have to excuse. i have gotten SO SO many compliments on it. one lady said it was the most beautiful nails she's ever seen. it is a tad more for the polish and the way they do it (with a mirror/magnet) but definitely well worth it! going in again this week and maybe trying a black with yellow??!! **ended up with a chrome polsh instead :) read more

The wait times are too long. They need more staff. I have been coming here for some time now and have put up with it but I realized there are nail places at the Safeway plaza and the Fry's plaza across the street. I don't mind waiting 5-10 minutes but 30 minutes for a rushed manicure is ridiculous. I felt short changed just so they could get to other customers although I'm a paying customer too. They do a decent job but all these places are pretty much the same. I demand good customer service and don't want to give my business and money if I am not receiving good service. Also, they have a lot of regulars that seem to come in off the street and the owner lets them go ahead of everyone. That is not good business sense. Don't bother coming here unless you want to feel like you don't matter. There are so many other places to go instead. read more

They did a great job on my pedicure and got me right in when I called to book an appointment.

I LOVE this nail salon!!! Had one of my absolute best pedicures yesterday! Not one scraggly piece of skin left on toes or cuticles, calluses gone, exceptional attention to detail. And, a friendly and happy environment. The owners are wonderful people and run a tight ship. Pedicures and manicures last for weeks. I send my clients here because I am confident they will get a fantastic job done. You will not be disappointed! Helen F. read more

I went there today for the 1st time. (Just moved here from Chicago)They take appt. but I did a walk in. Nice guy greeted me at the from. Maybe the owner? I got a fill in after 3 weeks of waiting (I was just so busy don't judge). I was pleased with the finished product. Pros: looked clean Took walk ins Nice color selection Cons: a bit pricey ($20 for acrylic fill in) not much conversation among the customers or employees (( I can take that or leave it ). I would go back but I am going to also shop around. read more

If it wasn't for nail tech Lisa, I would never go back. The male owner is pompous and rude. He has bad customer-relations management skills. Acts as though he doesn't need your business. Even parks his car in the parking space immediately outside the door. Shouldn't that be reserved for his customers? If they're busy, he'll fill in, but if you get him, you're better off leaving. He'll be taking money and phone calls every 5 minutes while doing your nails. He's not even good. The only pill I can swallow is that it's a cultural thing, but unacceptable nonetheless. read more

I've been here many times and had great service. However recently on two separate occasions I had an appointment, and when I arrived, another technician other than the person I originally booked with did my nails. Not all technicians do the same quality work therefore it seemed like they were trying to keep the new girls busy! That's a poor way to run a business. I would suggest giving your business to other nearby salons if you want the respect you deserve as a client. read more

Awesome. That's it. Awesome. Soooo nice, owner is very engaged--not just in business, yet also in service provided. Lisa is great, she's been spectacular over past couple years and does a great job at doing nails how you like. On her days off, Kevin is fantastic as well, as he listens, is very meticulous, and pays attention to detail. I've also experienced other nail and pedicure specialists here--I've been hard pressed to be disappointed. This is hands down the best place to go for nail services in area...and I've tried just about all of them. They aim to please, tell them what you want, and you'll get what you love! (I'm not sure what previous comments are about owner, but I've been going here for nearly 6 years and he's always been the nicest guy ever. Perhaps some individuals have difficulty with differences is cultural expressions, but being very hard of hearing since birth, I'm an expert at body language and expression, the owner is extremely nice!!) read more

I have been going to glad nails for over 5 years now and usually had a ok- great pedi depending on the nail tec. Last month I received horrible service and pedi. It was done by one of the male tecs. He performed the wrong pedi and told me that I could not change to the sea salt one because he already put lotion on my leg. Then he put the wrong color on. No tip and never will be back. Just found a new nail salon on Happy Valley Rd. They are awesome and use hot rocks in their pedi service. read more

If you don't mind getting ripped off on $ amount and you don't mind getting an ok gel fill and pedicure, then go there. I was in there Sunday, October 25th and the owner Anton charged me more than the service cost. When I called him out on it, he was yelling and tried to embarrass me in front of his staff and a few clients. When I told him he just lost a good customer, he said "I don't care, I have 5,000 more". His attitude was uphauling and I'm thinking about calling my bank to charge this amount back. He was rude and had a terrible attitude over this situation. I got a gel fill (they charged me $10. More for gel polish) and my $23.00 pedicure turned into $43.00. When I questioned him about the pedicure, he said "I charge $15.00 more for gel polish." Really? $10.00 for gel polish on hands but $15.00 on toes! Get a life Anton, you're not in Scottsdale. A few of my friends stopped going there months ago and never told me why. Now I know and I Do Not recommend this place. Andy was more interested in me giving him his $20. Tip then how my nails actually looked. The owner is an Arrogant man who thrills upon changing client prices every time you walk in. I only went there because it was close to my home. Back to Scottsdale, where the salons actually care about their clients. read more

I've been going here for gel manicures for about 2 months. They do a good job and are priced well. With that said, I will NOT step foot in Glad Nails again. I made a 10am appointment for a Saturday morning, when I arrived they were slammed but did put me at a table where someone prepped my nails to soak off the old gel. That was the last time ANYONE sat with me. I was ignored by those finishing up other clients and after 20 minutes of soaking, I walked out. They do NOT ensure your appointment is saved. Frustrated, nails look like garbage and now I have to find a new nail place... Lovely... read more

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE I made an appointment for today @1:45, got a babysitter and arrived 5 minutes early to pick my nail color. I'm leaving 35 minutes later with no manicure & pedicure because nobody helped me! I asked the owner about my appointment & he said "maybe next time don't make an appointment" No worries, I will NEVER make another appointment here or step foot in here again!! I'm very understanding and will wait 5, 10, even 15 minutes...but over 30 minutes with no help is unacceptable! 3 other ladies walked out at the same time for the same reason. Don't waste your time or $$ here! I also had a hard time picking a color because all of their colors are old & very outdated...must've been a sign. read more

Was told the wait time would be 5-10 minutes. Usually with this location that means 10-15 minute wait. Today I waited for 25 minutes, was brought back for my peers, then sat for 15 minutes with my feet in cold water with no help. Left without any service. read more

The owner is very nice, but they need new polish and gel nail dryers. The salon is getting a little tired. The tools the use are looking old. The polish is thick and needs to be replaced. I just got a french manicure with a gel coat and it already chipped in 6 hours. I think that means.... their product is old or..... their equipment is shabby ...or the nail tech did a poor job. read more
