This is a picture of the entirely burnt calzone that they put in a box and sent out for delivery.

This past weekend, we ordered a 14 inch calzone And fries. Long story short, the Entire calzone was burnt. The minute I opened the box, you could smell it. It was hard as a rock and it was not edible at all. Unfortunately, Doordash was not willing to give me any type of refund or credit so I called Giuseppe's. They refused to help me. The owner wouldn't even get on the phone. Nino is his name. He refused to call me back. They don't have a manager so they're kind of running without any guidance. I called for a couple of days in a row and kept getting the waitresses or the cashier. Very rude. When she said she would call him and called me back and told me that he pretty much said the same thing I explained to her that Doordash was not giving me a refund and basically what Nino is saying is customers don't matter. He owns the restaurant. It was a 57 dollar order and he was not willing to do anything about it to take care of a customer. The fact that the owner Nino was Not willing to do anything about it, knowing his cook burnt an entire calzone and they still sent it out is crazy to me. And he obviously does not care the fact that he would not get on the phone with me or call me back and made his cashier give me the news and then rudely hang up on me is just unacceptable. There are better restaurants in the area. And with all the new restaurants coming into town, I'm hoping people start going elsewhere. The fact that the cashier refused to let me continue talking yelled at me and then hung up on me is sickening that they're allowed to treat their customers that way. We will not be going back and I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure my community and the surrounding area knows that There are better Italian restaurants in the area than Giuseppe's

Of the few places to eat in Ladysmith, this comes in in last place. Pizza is worse than something out of Food Lion's freezer.

One of those places you must try. The owner is truly Italian, knows how to make the best pizzas between Richmond and DC.

My wife and I are always talking about the different locations where we dine, and she kept saying, "I can't wait to try it." It was a little busy tonight. There were only a few tables left when we arrived, and shortly afterward they were all filled. We ordered drinks, and I also ordered the Baby Kale Salad. It had fresh apples that were sweet, crisp, and cut perfectly. The vinaigrette complemented all of the ingredients without overpowering them. It was a great way to start dinner. If I had one small suggestion, it would be just a little more dressing, but it was still wonderful. The three of us shared it. For dinner, my wife had the evening special--chicken with pappardelle pasta, asparagus, and a delicious sauce. My mom and I both ordered the Lasagne with house-made pasta, beef, fresh mozzarella, and tomato sauce. The meals came out looking fantastic, as they always do, and everything was excellent. My wife's chicken was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and it paired perfectly with the pappardelle pasta. I already knew the lasagna was going to be outstanding, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The service here continues to be exceptional. Our water glasses were always kept full, empty plates were cleared promptly, and everyone worked together to make it a great dining experience. For dessert, my wife and I ordered our favorite, the Lemon Cheesecake, and my mom chose the Apple Bread Pudding. The cheesecake was excellent, as always, and the bread pudding was also very good--my mom absolutely loved it. Overall, another outstanding meal with excellent service. We will definitely be back.

We visited around 1 PM on a Saturday and were seated immediately, which was a great start. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar salad and calamari. The Caesar salad was surprisingly small and came with only two croutons. The calamari was a decent portion size, but the flavor was just okay, I've definitely had better elsewhere. For our entrée, we ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. The flavor itself was very good, but the noodles were extremely watery, almost giving the dish a soup-like consistency. The portion size was also extremely small, especially considering the price point. Overall, I found the restaurant to be quite expensive for both the portion sizes and the overall dining experience. While the service and seating were fine, the food was ultimately underwhelming for me. Unfortunately, it's not a place I would return to.

My God, what a true 5-star experience…read more We were in Fredericksburg for the day, and I'm so glad we decided to give Orofino a try. The cozy indoor dining room transports you to a relaxed, no-frills neighborhood restaurant you'd expect to find in Naples, Italy. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, offered thoughtful recommendations, and checked in at just the right times. They were attentive without being intrusive. We never had to ask for plates to be cleared or flag someone down when we were ready for dessert. We started with the calamari, followed by the lasagna, and finished with the lemon cake. I also had an Aperol Spritz. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell nothing relied on frozen ingredients or store-bought sauces. If you're looking for authentic Italian food in the Fredericksburg area, I highly recommend Orofino. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in town.

New to the area, and what an amazing experience!…read more From the outside, the restaurant looks smaller than it actually is, but once inside, it's surprisingly spacious with a warm, traditional Sicilian atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. Our waiter, Jack, was an absolute superstar. He was knowledgeable, attentive, funny, and incredibly helpful with our selections. He truly made the evening special. We started with the calamari and a salad with goat cheese, walnuts, and pomegranate unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it, but it was absolutely delicious! The complimentary bread served with their infused olive oil was outstanding and worth mentioning on its own. For our entrées, my husband and I both ordered specials the Lobster Ravioli and the Halibut. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also enjoyed an excellent red blend wine. By that point, we had enjoyed enough wine that I completely forgot to take photos of the specials! We finished with the cannoli special dessert, which was good, though not quite as memorable as the rest of the meal. Most of all, we can't thank Jack enough for the great service, laughs, and overall experience. It's rare to find food and hospitality that work together so perfectly. We'll definitely be back very soon!
