Had this place before and I really enjoyed but got it again today and I'm very upset. I ordered online and got 2 pizzas. First being the chicken buffalo pizza when I opened the box it was a disaster no chicken on the pizza and overall sloppy and it wasn't cut properly so when I cue it I picked it up and everything slid off. Next I had ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza but removed the bacon. And to no surprise there was bacon on it and no chicken. And again not cut properly and everything slid off of it. Seemed undercooked as well. I also payed extra for 6 ranches as well and did not get them at all. If your looking to get food from here I'd recommend not take out they obviously only care about their customers when they are in the restaurant and not when they order take out. Also very overpriced for what you receive. Better to just get the cheaper option like dominoes or papa John's for better quality pizza. read more

Amazing food and atmosphere right beside Marshall's Football stadium and University. This place has really turned things around over the past few years! We are in town for a soccer tournament. The desk clerk at the hotel recommended Giovanni's. I was very happy with her recommendation and Giovanni's. We ordered a large Pounder Pepperoni pizza and a large Pepperoni, Mushroom and Banana Peppers pizza. The only reason I didn't give five stars as the crust on the pizza with Mushrooms and Banana Peppers was slightly undercooked. I would order from Giovanni's again. read more

We ordered lunch for our staff on May 29, 2025. 1st issue the website had us as a pickup order not delivery. There were 2 of us placing the order together and it was placed as a delivery. When we called to inquire why the order had not arrived, we were told that it was supposed to be a pickup order and we explained that it should have been delivered. They told us in order to have it delivered we had to pay a $3.99 delivery fee. We agreed to pay the fee. 2nd issue. We paid $380.96 for food and we gave the driver $5.00 for the delivery fee and she didn't give us any change. When delivered we first thought we were missing 8 salads. The delivery girl said she would go back and get the salads and bring them back to us. At 12:45 when we got to our kitchen to go through the order we realized they had shorted us the 8 salads as well as an extra large deluxe pizza and 2 Cinnamon Snazzy's. I called right back, to catch the girl before she left with our salads, and explained that we were missing the additional items. I explained to her that the delivery girl was on her way back to get the salads and I would like her to bring the additional items when she came back. Apparently when the driver returned she was told that we were coming to pick up the items. At that point someone should have called us to clarify what was going on, but they didn't. Instead they sat there and waited with our food sitting there. At 1:42 they finally called us to see if we were coming to pick up the food. ALMOST AND HOUR LATER!!!! I told them no, the delivery girl was supposed to bring it back. I explained that we still had employees that had not eaten due to them waiting on the salads. They said they would bring the salads to us and I asked about the pizza and Cinnamon Snazzy's that were missing and the girl said she had given us 5 pizzas and I said yes you gave us 2 pepperoni pizza's and we only ordered 1 pepperoni pizza and 2 deluxe. I told her that I had the 2nd pepperoni pizza to give back to her, and she commented "Oh okay there we go!" She then said she didn't know about the Cinnamon Snazzy's so she would have to get them ready. I was very frustrated at this point and was talking to her and she hung up the phone on me. I called back to find out if they were bringing our food or what was going on, they claimed the call must have dropped and they would bring it right over. I asked about our change for the delivery fee and they said they would bring it with the food. We received our food at 2:44 and the driver was very rude to us. Yes I was very frustrated. We just spent $380.96 plus $3.99 for food that took right at 2 hours to deliver the missed items to us. I gave her back the extra pepperoni pizza and I made the comment, that it was ridiculous and she told me that we need to understand that it was a misunderstanding and I told her that she needed to understand we had people that had not even eaten at this point and there should be some kind of credit given. I also told her that she shouldn't be speaking to her customers like she was and she said she could talk to me any way she wanted because she felt I was being rude to her. I'm sorry but we had been waiting 2 hours for food that they missed with our order, I think I had a good reason to be upset. The other employee with me said we would just call the manager and she said she was the general manager. I said that explained a lot, no wonder your service has gone down hill. She then left without giving us our change. I called the store and asked for the general manager and a lady got on the phone. I asked if she was the girl that had just brought us our food and she said no. I explained that she said she was the general manager and the lady on the phone said she was a general manager. I asked if they had more than one general manager and she said yes. I asked for someone over them and she said she was over the other girl. I explained to her what had happened and how rude the girl had been and didn't give us our change. She tried to be understanding, however she told me that they can't give store credit unless we didn't receive our food. Since they brought us our food they couldn't give us any store credit. I had no issue with her until I asked her name and she told me her first name. I asked her last name and she didn't want to give it to me. I asked "you are the general manager and refuse to give your last name?" She said people stock them online and she didn't want to give it out. I told her I wasn't going to stock her. She finally told me her last name. I asked for the owner's name and she said she is the owner. I asked for the corporate office number and she said I needed to go on the website to get that information. I asked for a customer service number and she said she didn't have it. I thanked her and hung up the phone. I then had to call back and ask about our change. I've really tried to give this place chance after chance but every order always has something wrong. Under cooked food, missing items, long delivery times, sloppy preparation, and the latest... an extra large pie completely un cut. I just can't waste my time and money here any longer. Their Facebook page has been taken down... how much you wanna bet it was because of crap reviews and comments? I'd take that bet. Stopped by during the snow storm to pick up a 16" pepperoni pizza for $9.99. Added fried mushrooms and a salad. Very large salad for $3 bucks and change! It was delicious. They let me sample a Peddler Strawberry/rhubarb sour ale that was delicious. The pizza was perfect. This is a great Giovannis, which is our favorite pizza. Some are not as good and don't buy franchise products. That was not the case. The owner fixed a complimentary order of pepperoni knots, which were fabulous! Ten times better than a pepperoni roll and loads of butter, spice and Parmesan cheese with pizza sauce for dipping. Nice owner, who acquired it this past year. His gal helping at the counter was very attentive and helpful. Great job! We will be back soon! read more

Visited the recently re-opened location last night. Walked in at around 5pm and there were 2 servers and 2 customers. Seems odd but it's a small town and Marshall classes were still in session and no sporting events last night. Had a couple beers and ordered some pizza. Was so happy to get good pizza and while it seems a little different than the original recipe it was still very good. By the time we left, there were many delivery orders picked up by delivery services but hardly anyone came in to eat. Hopefully that's not the norm as having this Giovanni's back is good for that area of town! Will be back next visit to town! read more

My husband and I ordered a philly cheese steak and a veggie sandwich. Both of our bread was soggy and both barely had any ingredients. My husband's philly barely had any meat on it and my veggie barely had any veggies!! Usually our sandwiches are so big the ingredients are falling off and we cant eat it all! But not this time. It was mainly just soggy bread! I called to let the owner know but the person in charge did not seem too interested. I have ate here other times with decent service, but this time was absolutely atrocious. All patrons with us received their food very largely apart from each other. In other words, 2 people had finished their entree completely before one had even received their entree. Appetizer came out cold, was told I would get another one FREE of charge for receiving it cold to start with, only to find out that in the end the manger told her server "you can't take them off because we already replaced the cold ones with fresh ones", kinda low to serve cold food and not offer anything else besides "replacing it with fresh ones". Absolutely no hate to our server, she did good and all she good. Very unfortunate that this place has good servers, but puts them in awkward situations because of stingy management who can't offer a free app for receiving cold ass food. read more

This Giovanni's is under new management and you could tell. The food was great, it came out fast and was very fresh. The service was also excellent.They have a great draft beer selection, as well as, many bottles and cans. Make sure to stop in for some great food and drinks. read more
