We're addicted to this restaurant. We have eaten here multiple times and we've never been disappointed. Service, food, ambience- all wonderful. Waiters and bartenders are friendly, polite, professional. Ambience is beach-chic. Try the grilled Caesar salad and the grilled polenta for a different and wonderful taste experience. I set up a Birthday dinner for my wife and 5 other family members for Sunday early evening. Gio & Liz are incredible and handle everything personally. Dina was our waitress and she was spectacular. Each course was magnificent...cold antipasto was on point, baked clams perfect, fried zucchini delicious (I usually won't eat it), carpacio was good. Entrées started with Sunday Sauce and fresh pasta...what a special treat, followed up with Chicken Gio and Shrimp Luciano which were both amazing. I recently went there with my girlfriends and I we had an amazing night!! The food is so fresh and homemade and they make great drinks too. The eggplant appetizer is the BEST I've ever had!!! From the minute we stepped through the doors everyone was so friendly. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Let me just start out by saying I absolutely LOVE Gios! The food is absolutely amazing! The chicken margarita is so delish! And I don't even really like chicken but I order this every time I go! Every bite I take is amazing and omg the cheesecake!!! I won't share it lol. To top off the amazing experience of the food is the beautiful ambiance and the friendly and efficient service! Service was slow. Meal came out staggered with sides trailing entrees by 30+ minutes. Management was arrogant and less than civil.

The noise level is out of control loud--do you really want to spend the evening shouting at your table mates over the din? The food is nothing special--the "burnt stringbeans" were so burnt I could have done better in my own oven if I wasn't paying attention. And then there's the check. You won't be told that there's a 3.5% service fee for using a credit card and that a 20% tip has already been added! Instead, when the handheld is presented so that your credit card can be processed, you'll see tip amounts on the screen that suggest you choose one. Of course you will and thus end up tipping twice! A shady practice and complain to the owner and his rude manager and they'll maintain they did nothing wrong. There are way better to places to eat out here so please find one and avoid getting ripped off. read more

What a horrible experience. We arrived to be seated right away inside. Our waiter was so confused about the specials and had to go back in to the kitchen twice to see if what he was actually telling us was accurate. The apps were pretty good/ baked clams and fried peach salad. All of a sudden the music got super loud which was more like club music instead of dinner music. The couple next to us asked the waiter if they could lower the music a little and we agreed with them. It was never lowered so the man next to us got up and asked THE OWNER to please just lower the music a bit....instead he made it soooo loud and blasted the Tennis game they were watching on 2 large tv's. He did this on purpose to this customers complaint. My husband and I were in total shock. Our food came out and the Bolognese sauce tasted like a bowl of salt. My husband had the same complaint about his ravioli dish. Unable to eat our meals and NO way were we going to complain to this horrible owner we just ordered after dinner drinks and desert. My desert was fine but hubby never got his...when the waiter came by and my husband complained he never got his desert the waiter apologized and said it was on the house. When the bill came the desert was on the bill. We paid it and left and both agreed we will NEVER go back again. We normally always went to Dino's which we both never had a bad experience. We decided to give this place a try...big mistake . We will be going back to Dino's and hope this owner realizes how horrible he runs a business. read more

Omg! Seriously the Best restaurant in Long Beach in east Atlantic Beach in the entire world the best Italian restaurant you will ever go to in your entire life. Anise is the best bartender you'll ever have in your entire life. He makes the best espresso martinis the best drinks you'll ever have ever. The chicken franchise is too freaking die for the Del Anno is even better. If you think you know good food you don't until you come here. Do you think you have a good food in New York City you don't until you come here. This service is impeccable. The best service you ever have in your entire life in any restaurant in entire world. They are so personable they remember your name they give you whatever you ask for times x10. I leave here and I feel like I left the 10 day spa resort because of the service and because of the quality of the amazing food that I receive.
