Great friendly service and good quality coffee. My boyfriend and I stopped by here real quick to grab some caffeine and thank goodness we did. Very nice mom and pop shop in the middle of Gables (:

Giorgio Café is a total gem! The cuisine can be described as Argentinian-Italian. For those who are familiar, Giorgio is the former Alameda--a neighborhood favorite in Coral Way. The restaurant had to close because the plaza where it was located was teared down. However, it has resurfaced as Giorgio Cafe, and its every bit as good as I remember it. They still have the best empanadas in Miami: caprese, chicken, beef, and spinach. The caprese is my absolute favorite because it has the Italian works: tomato, mozzarella, basil, and a dash of olive oil. It definitively has to be the first one you try--thank me later! Also, it has delicious sweets like alfajores and facturas. Gosh, how I love their dulce de leche facturas! Giorgio has daily lunch specials that are scrumptious and very filling, which is why the price is unbeatable at $10.95. It includes a meat, 2 starches, and soup; and the offerings vary every day. It's a great deal! Like any respectable Argentinian restaurant, Giorgio has the must try miga sandwiches that are perfect for gatherings. And not to be overlooked, the cafe has a small market offering some Argentinian staples like alfajores, dulce de leche, cookies, and others.

Please hire people who can speak English. I go after my massage often and so hard to communicate. Also staff seems less friendly lately .

This place has an energy that's hard to manufacture -- warm, lively, and genuinely fun. When Argentina is playing, it's a whole different level. The kind of atmosphere where you look up and realize hours have passed. Fair warning: it does get a little hot in there, but I'd sit there dripping sweat before I'd think about leaving early. That's how good it is. The service matches the energy -- attentive, genuine, and the kind that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It's the full package. Now the food. I don't even know the name of the chicken cheeks dish, but I think about it. Whatever it is, order it. The entraña was cooked perfectly -- if you know Argentine cuts, you know how much that matters, and they nailed it. And then the dulce de leche crepe. I don't throw around the word incredible lightly, but there's no other word for it. Just get it. Don't leave without ordering the sangria either. It rounds out the whole experience exactly the way it should. Fiorito's is the real deal -- the food, the service, the atmosphere. One of those places you just keep coming back to.

The empanadas de choclo (filled with corn and mozzarella) were rich and full of flavor. For the mains, the churrasco was tender and served with cilantro rice, which felt unique and is not something I come across often. The mushroom ravioli was coated in a truffle sauce that I also really enjoyed. Overall, everything was a 10 for me, and I would definitely come back. One thing that stood out was the absence of alfajores on the dessert menu. Given how authentically Argentine the place felt, alfajores would have been my go to choice if they had been available.

The Argentine vibe hits you right away with Messi, Maradona, and La Selección memorabilia everywhere, plus TVs all over so you don't miss a match. Service was solid, friendly, and easygoing, which makes the whole experience better. It's a great place to sit back, eat well, watch soccer, and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling rushed. Freshest ingredients we've had in a salad in a long time. Empanadas: we tried both the chicken and beef. The hubby likes the chicken and I really liked the beef. Baked empanadas full of flavor. Light and slightly crispy shell. IYKYK, great baked empanadas are hard to come by. They do it right. Caramel crepe à la mode: oh my! These are delicious!! The inside of the crepes are filled with a cajete/caramel filling that will blow you away if you are a caramel fan. Not too sweet which is key, but that awesome caramel "stick-to-the-roof-of-your-mouth" feel. Then, vanilla ice cream on top. Yikes! So good! Perfectly paired with coffee..I'm done. Next time I'm in Miami, I will certainly be back to try a proper meal. Highly recommend.
