This was the most amazing deep dish pizza. Super fresh and yummy. The crust really blew us away and you could tell they make it fresh.

Great service and well prepared food. The server is quick on the refills, rarely do we ever have to request a refill due to his attentive nature. Also, the server prefers to serve the beverage when you're seated so that the ice won't melt in your soft drink beverage adding a higher concentration of water. I am giving 3 stars because we have ordered before and it was good however we ordered a Caesar salad and wings. The total was $85. Thought it was very expensive but it was 3-4 people. The issue was the salad was sent without any dressing at all we had to pay extra for extra dressing and chicken but no dressing and hardly any chicken on the salad. One order of wings had 7 wings and the other 2 had 8. Waste of $85. read more

We live only 2 miles away straight shot. Mediocre at best. However, there really isn't any other sit down pizza spot in the area for late dinner =( The food is basic Giordano's nothing special, but nothing horrible either. If you are from out of town the pizza would be considered great, but for a local that knows better it's not all it could be. I've had better pizzas and better experiences from other places of the same chain. When you walk in you are seated immediately and the server was really good about greeting us and checking in until we figured out what we wanted to order. Then she was gone. She returned with the food just under an hour later and refilled people's sodas. However, she failed to refill a single water glass and considering that's what half our table was drinking I found this frustrating. Only after I consumed half of my food was I able to flag her down to ask for more water, and the peeps who were drinking soda (whose glasses were now empty) were ignored. The decor rather than looking interesting and vintage just looks old. There are a few cool things to look at and read from old school Chicago days, but overall it just looks dreary. There are two tv's and both are small and in awkward places so if a game is on, don't plan on watching it. If you are fortunate enough to be able to see the screen don't count on being able to hear it. There is a basic restaurant playlists that can be heard rather than being able to hear the score. On the brighter side, the music is at a good volume that you can still have dinner conversation without it taking over or disappearing into the background. I recently returned hoping that maybe since it had been awhile that this place had cleaned up and changed. Unfortunately, It didn't get any better. Food and service was horrible tonight. I ordered the super veggie pizza and it literally came with NO SAUCE. Even the manager was apologetic. Nice of him to take the pizza off the bill, but we left hungry. The waitress was short...every time she came to the table she just dropped everything like it was burning a hole in her hand and left. IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA AND ARE LOOKING FOR GREAT PIZZA, GO TO BEGGARS PIZZA in Maywood or try ROCKY'S in Westchester. Beggars is a few minutes from here, but definitely worth the drive. This location is not like the locations in the city. I tried the sampler platter yesterday and the garlic bread tasted pretty gross. The mozzarella sticks and wings were the only good thing from it. We then had two deep dish pizzas and they were awful. The cheese had a weird taste to it and there seemed to be no dough at the bottom of the pizza. I get it's a deep dish, but the cheese was basically the crust too. I'd rather drive to the city than go to this location ever again. Overall, food was terrible but the server was friendly. I immediately called the store (not even 2 minutes later) I spoke to one person telling them that I order the wrong thing and I needed to cancel and reorder. Staff are less than helpful -- they rush you to decide and start walking away before your even done telling them what you want. There's a guy who's been there forever who gave me the impression I was bothering him when I told him my drinks were flat. Instead of believing me, he tested it himself and said it was fine. Love - love - love Giordano's stuffed pizza but I was frustrated when on a Monday night - we live under 10 mins away - our pizza was late. They told us within the hour for a stuffed medium cheese 1/2 spinach. It took an hour and 15 minutes. I know it was rush hour and there are trains in the area but they could have called? Not the best Giordano's around. We ordered once for delivery and it was tasty. The other evening we dined in and the pizza was "fine" but the service was kind of crappy. They stuck us in a booth in the entry/walkway even though the back was empty. I was right by the half wall that leads into the kitchen, it was clean, but the tile made me feel like I was sitting near a bathroom. They had boxing on the TV (who wants to watch to men beat each other senseless over dinner?). The TVs were on mute and there was no music. Made the place feel kind of "blah." The old Chicago-related posters are fun to look at if they aren't busy and you can wander around. The server never came by to check back really, and seemed to avoid looking at us when we rushed by. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered their "premium" house Chianti, but it didn't even meet my low expectations. I love me some Giordano's! I would go as far as to say it's my favorite pizza place in Chicago. This restaurant is a pretty good representation of the chain. The cooks do a great job of serving up a great pie and appetizers! Ok so I've only dined in once. It was a pretty forgettable experience. I would say it's a good place for a first date. It's not intimidating and the lot is pretty accessible if you're coming from the east. It looks like a plush pizza place. Nothing super swanky. My one complaint would be their delivery is kinda slow. Deep-dish pizza. Beer. Cocktails. What's not to love? I recently came to Giordano's for a wedding rehearsal dinner, and we had a really nice time. The bride and groom had reserved a private room downstairs. It had six large round tables for people to sit at, and in the back of the room food was set up. There was salad and mostacholi and pizza of every kind. Of course, there was deep dish, but there was thin-crust, too. The food was brought out by staff and served buffet-style, so I can't really speak to the level of service. We did get cocktails upstairs. The bartender was friendly, but he didn't really seem to know his way around behind the bar too well. It wasn't a big deal, though. We just wanted to get our drink on after a long day of pre-wedding festivities. I would definitely recommend holding private events at this Giordano's. The space in the basement isn't super fancy, but you get the whole room to yourself and can probably fit 60 people down there. And they let you and your guests box up uneaten pizza and take it home. Five stars for the food. 0 for the server we had. Came in on 10/19 for dinner with a friend and unfortunately we didn't get blessed with the best server. She was so insanely hurried it was comical, and they weren't even busy. Her rush was uncomfortable and when she came to check to make sure if we needed anything she literally started walking away and was not even paying attention to my friend who asked her for another drink. We had to beacon for her back after she rushed away before she was aware that we said yes. I'm gonna just suggest that the blonde work on rapport building a little bit more and slow things down. Giordano's isn't exactly the cheapest pizza place in town and I'm not expecting white glove service at any pizzeria but this was a bit over the top. Also it was a bit toasty in there too. Between how hurried we felt and the heat, it wasn't exactly a relaxing experience. :( read more

First time eating in this location and it was Excellent. Plenty of parking available. Inside the decor is nice. Place is clean and well maintained by a Great Staff. Our waiter was very attentive and there was also other servers that walked around asking if we needed anything. How Great is that. They made sure we had our drinks refilled. We ordered Buffalo wings and they are Delicious. So Delicious we had another order of wings. Finally my stuffed pizza came It is So Good! I've been coming going to this particular Giordanos for years because we really njoy their pizza. Tonight I must say I was insulted and won't be returning. The evening went pretty well with our waiter being very polite and was their for what we needed, however the manager is another story. At the end of our dinner we asked for the check to pay and she brought it over. However we were still finishing our beer and last of our food when the manager by the way we asked for his full name and he said it was Daniel walked over and asked how much longer we were gonna be there. We were all surprised and looked at each other he then said oh I need to know because I have a party of thirty ppl waiting in front. I responded give us five minutes. However as we got up and ready to leave I couldn't help to notice there was at least 6-8 empty tables plus about 3-5 empty booths. As we approached the exit of the restaurant we noticed there was s family of six waiting. Not 30 or 40 ppl as he made it seem. We approached him and asked for his name he gave us an attitude and it was obvious he was lying about the 30 ppl waiting in front. We were not loud,rude,obnoxious in the restaurant and for him to pretty much ask us to leave when he had a half empty restaurant was very rude of him. Needless to say we WON'T be returning to this restaurant anymore. No one should ever be asked to leave sorry Giordanos you lost a customers forever! Sad part was we had a couple friends visiting from out of town and they as well were insulted and disappointed. read more

Me and my family love Giordano's pizza we ordered from here frequently. Was disappointed when I went on Yelp and they offered a 10% coupon to order online completed the Order only to find out that only part of the promotion code was advertised. When I came to pick up the pizza and complained about only part of the code being ready the manager did not even offer to give a 10% discount. He argued the fact that Geo Donalds does not advertise coupons. Funny that such a popular application such as yelp would ever ties the coupon that's not valid. Our co-worker referred us (my friend and I) here. He said Giordano's is THE pizza place in Chicago and, let me tell you, he wasn't lying. We ordered the deep chicken sausage with mushrooms, spinach, and it came with lots of sauce on top! If you're going to order a deep pizza, be prepared to wait 35-45 mins. They make it from scratch but it's well worth the wait! Each slice is extra deep and equivalent to about 2 ordinary slices of a regular pizza! The crust is almost similar to pie crust and is extraordinarily crispy! I couldn't eat more than two slices but that's because we also ordered some buffalo chicken wings; which, by the way, were also delicious and cooked to perfection! Crunchy and crispy on the outside and moist & juicy on the inside, just as wings were meant to be! Service was very friendly and on point and the waiter made sure our drinks were not empty or too low. Give this chain a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Let me start by saying I love Giordanos. I have eaten at various locations throughout the city and the suburbs and in general, the food and service is solid. This location, though. I have been here three times and each time, there was an issue with both the meal and the service. The staff is generally dismissive of issues, is slow to bring food, and for a family place, for some reason always feels compelled to play MMA on the big screen (despite the overwhelming number of children). There are just too many good pizza places in the area to come here and deal with slow service, dismissive management and an unfriendly environment for families. Try the other location or hit up Lou's if you're interested in a peaceful meal where you aren't belittled for voicing concerns. read more

Most Chicagoans know this chain for their stuffed pizza. I find their stuffed pizza at the Westchester location to have too much of a raw sauce taste. I prefer other places for stuffed pizzas and I prefer Giordano's thin to their stuffed--shocker! People ding them for slow delivery but this is to be expected with stuffed pizza. It can take 30-40 minutes to cook, in addition to prep time and delivery. So give 'em a break on that or stick to my suggestion or ordering the thin crust if you are in a hurry. Really disappointed !!!!!!! I hate delivery but because of Covid 19 I tried contactless delivery at Cermak location . I always go to the one in city Chicago north side . But I tried the one here on Cermak and Mannheim and was so disappointed my Parmesan fries were so hard barely Parmesan at bottom of half empty bag and my pizza barely had any sausage the only thing they got right was the crispy was and pie cut .
