I am from Indianapolis and I have never pizza like this. Best pizza and garlic fries I have ever had. This is a must when visiting Chicago.

Plan on getting a little food for alot of money .Ordered chicken parmesan that was supposed to feed 5 according to the person who took our order .It only had 2 pieces of chicken and not that much spaghetti. It barely fed 2 adults and 2 kids all average size peo ple. The sauce had no flavor . I have always gotten pizza and that's decent. I wouldn't recommend anything else though. read more

Ordered lunches at 11:00 am for myself and 6 co workers, delivered at 12:10 pm. Very fast, very friendly service and of course everything was delicious! I always get the extra thin crust, always. What I got was a thick crust which we don't like because it's too thick and there's too much cheese. The guy in the phone didn't seem to know what he was doing and I could barely understand him. My favorite place for deep dish pizza. I have three locations that I love to go to. At this location, I had my first experience at Giordano's. Since Orland Park looked really packed, my father and I decided to drive out here. First time, I managed to eat two big slices of deep dish pizza and a whole order of cheese sticks. I must say, the pizza was really good and the cheese sticks were beyond awesome. My mouth waters thinking about it. The service was good, but could have been better. read more

My husband and I went here while traveling in Chicago. We were in town for the Gluten & Allergen Free Expo. I have Celiac Disease. It was our first dinner of our vacation, and I used the Find Me Gluten Free app to pick a place. When we got there, the manager (I'm assuming) was very nice. But our waiter was short with us and not very helpful. I decided on the pasta, as I didn't want a pizza all to myself. Also, their menu said "no gluten" pizza, instead of gluten free. It made me very skeptical. The wait staff assured me that they use a dedicated pot with clean water each time for the pasta, and dedicated utensils. I tried to find a protein to add to my pasta, and the waiter said none of it was gluten free because it was all marinated. After talking (in English) to the manager, we finally decided that I could have the Shrimp. There was also a lack of knowledge if their salad dressing was gluten free. It was a bit frustrating. So, finally I put in my order and my husband and my friend ordered their deep dish pizza. They said it would take 40 minutes, which was fine because I hadn't seen my childhood friend in 10 years. When they finally bring their pizza out, the waiter said it would take 5 more minutes to cook my pasta since it was gluten free. What?!?! They just had 40 minutes to cook a pizza! During that time they had brought out my shrimp on a separate plate, which was turning cold, because I was going to add it to my pasta. I tried to be pleasant and polite, and just smile. And wait. The manager finally came over to our table and apologized because the cook had messed up my gluten free pasta by cooking it in the wrong pot and water, therefore cross-contaminating it. While I was appreciative of the manager, I was even MORE upset with the waiter because he wasn't going to have the guts to tell me the truth. The manager told me that they wold not be charging me for my meal. I said thank you, while inside I was thinking- "that's right I'm not paying for this." They took so long in bringing out my pasta that my husband and friend where totally finished with their meal and I had to take my meal "to go" back to her house. Let's just say that I was less than pleased. I was so hungry when we got back to her house (like 9:15 at night) that I devoured the whole thing. It did taste good, but it would have been best served at the restaurant, on time, with my friends. While some people may discount my review because I'm gluten free and celiac and possibly thinking "why did you go to a pizza place then?" a restaurant needs to be able to handle special menus that they ADVERTISE. Awful service!! I called last night at 9:58pm to order 1 thin crust pizza for delivery less than a mile away. The guy on the phone said sorry we stopped taking orders at 9:55pm. Wanted to plan reservations for a special dinner, but was informed that they don't make reservations on Sunday. (This was on a Sunday and it sounded reasonable enough since that would be their busiest day) That Sunday comes around and we call to see if there are seats available and we are told that there are plenty. Skip along to us arriving 10 minutes later and are told all seats are reserved and we can't be seated.... idk who made this mistake, but needless to say we will be ordering pizza elsewhere. read more

What happened to this restaurant? We have eaten here multiple times and ordered carryout, but tonight we had a bad experience. Our order was not right. We ordered two children's "Pasghetti!" With parmesan butter and we got one order of just noodles and butter. The person who took our order seemed confused about what was on the menu. The pizza was okay. Our family reserved the party room for a baby shower. We had 50 people and the room was the perfect size for our group. The food was fabulous and there was an abundance of it. We had salad, pasta, really delicious meatballs and a wide variety of delicious pizzas. We were even provided with take home containers for ourselves and our guests to take the leftovers home. Our service was also outstanding. My only complaint would be that although the party room is downstairs the restrooms are upstairs. This was inconvenient for a few of our older guests. I would use Giordano's in Westchester for another private party. They exceeded my expectations. read more

I ordered pizza to be delivered, when I got my pizza I was a bit disappointed because I ordered Stuffed Crust and was given Thin Crust. I proceeded to call to advise them of the mistake a female answered the phone I advised her of the error and she put me on hold. After being on hold for a moment I decide to hang up and just deal with the pizza because #1. I'm 9 months pregnant and very hungry and #2 I knew getting a new pizza would take an additional 1 hour plus so I dropped it. Giordiano's called me back I didn't answer bc like I said I dropped it, they called again and I started to explain to a young guy my initial reason for calling and he starts very rudely saying that he didn't mess up my order. I advised him that I was sure it was a mistake on their part and he again blamed me and took no ownership or accountability and proceeded to try to argue with me. I was shocked and asked him did he call me just to try to fight with me? He said to tell me that he did nothing wrong and it was my fault. Like I previously said, I'm 9 months pregnant and arguing with a pizza place and not the stress I need especially considering that I dropped the issue, just a word of advise Giordiano's should teach better customer service and teach their employees how to talk to people and own their mistakes it was not a big deal until he called me twice just to be rude. This Giordanno's is fantastic! I took my special education classroom here for a field trip last April 2015. All staff members collaborated to make the field trip possible. They answered my many questions beforehand and helped us plan our field trip. Many of my students are nonverbal and exchange pictures to communicate. Also, my students had to adapt to the change in their environment. On the day of the field trip, all staff members were helpful. The waitress was very patient when our students "ordered" their pizza with their words or pictures. Plus, we were allowed back into the kitchen to watch them make a pizza. When the pizza came, it was delicious! The children, families, and my staff members loved it! We do have several picky eaters. When one student wouldn't eat the pizza but simply the pepperoni, the waitress brought out a bowl of pepperoni that the cook made just for my student. Overall, all staff members were incredibly accommodating to our needs. Most importantly, the students had the chance to gain necessary community skills and had the chance to practice their communication skills! read more

We ordered a heart shaped pizza for Valentines Day, My granddaughter was so excited to go with to get her heart shspe pizza so went from Berwyn all the way to WestChester to pick it up in the cold and snow ,when we got it home it was supposed to be a heart shaped cheese pizza but it was sausage and pepperoni when we called they said that we can come out and get another one we asked them to deliver it they refused they said we will give us $20 off of your next order we then proceeded to tell them we cannot take our grand daughter back out in the cold and snow that they should deliver it ,again they refused. is this how they do business I know they were busy but she should have been at the top of the line since she was the one who went to get her pizza in the cold and snow and they did not make it correctly, my grandfaughter was heartbroken that she did not get her heart shaped pizza for Valentine's Day. We don't get her very often and this time she was so excited I don't understand why they could not deliver to her, since it was their mistake,, the manager said they had too many people ahead of her to order pizzas I told her she was way ahead of those people because she already got her pizza brought it all the way home and then it was the wrong pizza. They do not care to rectify the situation except for give us $20 on our next visit and after telling us that she could not deliver the pizza all of a sudden after I told her we order another pizza from a local pizzeria but it was not heart-shaped because my granddaughter was hungry then she told me she could deliver it I don't get it. I love both the stuffed and thin crust pizza. After a recent dine-in experience i was very pleased. The food came out quickly, appetizers first (i hate when appetizers come out with the meal) and the waiter was great. Every time our drinks were running low there he was with a refill. Although i must admit i was a bit frustrated when i specifically requested kid cups and he brought 2 of the kids regular cups. I know my kids, they spill stuff so please bring the kids cups. When i got home i gave the receipt a once over and noticed he charged me for one kids drink which is .99 and 3 regular drinks which are 2.99. I had water myself and my 16 yr old had a beverage but the other kids are all under the age of 10. So now him not bringing my kids actual kids drinks is costing me 4 extra bucks! I just dont get why restaurant employees act like their pay is determinant on how much they sell. Am i missing something? I hate to feel cheated. I am certain giordanos is much better off than i am so why the nickel and diming? read more
