OMG...this has to be THE best pizza I have ever had! We were a bit worried driving up to this place...it's at the end of a strip mall, almost like where you would find a Pizza Hut or something. You are either a Lou Malnati's fan or a Giordano's fan but can't be both. I'm a Giordano's fan, golden crust perfect sauce for pizza and the cheese pull is legendary service is bomb and seats are either booth or chairs so you get a choice. Went for weekday afternoon pizza with my mother. Only a few others in the place. After a while (20-30min) we are told that they made the wrong size pie and are remaking it. The manager never stopped by to apologize, nor did they bring a slice or bring the wrong one out while we are waiting. Then when we went to check out they refused to accept an online $5 off coupon, because it was online; even though they pay to offer and advertise. The manager Natalie stated that the code on coupon is useless and not used by them. She could care less about customer satisfaction, even in the event of the delay in order. $30 for one pizza and a coffee and they wont budge on a $5 coupon they pay to advertise. Dont tell me that the manager cant deduct $ from the bill. I will never return to this location. read more

Just ate at Giordanos in Stream wood. I received great service from Eva. I love this place. The people are so friendly and attentive. Natalie, the Manager, even came over to our table and recommended the spinach artichoke and feta cheese pizza. I tried it and loved it! Thank you for the recommendation and wonderful service! The experience that I've had here is consistent that I'd had with other Giordanos, in that you're seated relatively fast, the appetizers are delicious and the pizza(deep dish) takes about a solid 30-35 minute wait(conservatively) In other words it was great overall, however in my opinion maybe because having worked in a restaurant I would work on that bathroom because for me that's a deal breaker but other than that the pizza was great and the service was great and the location overall was nice. read more

After many years, decided to treat our family with delicious very cheesy thin crust pizza, knowing it would be a little pricier than most pizzas in area. However, upon getting home, realized we had been given and paid for a Large, when ordered a medium. Upon calling the establishment immediately for a credit on the difference in sizes, or returning, the Manager was so gracious he offered to credit us with entire pizza that night, though not what I asked for. What a day today, I decided to order for our dinner pizza and I said I would like to order from Giordano's and I would be here in time dinner. I normally order from Giordano's in Streamwood and so order I place. I chose to have it delivered contactless and put in time of 650 pm delivery give or take it should be here and ready for me to eat by at least 710 pm. After I place the order time got change to 702 pm -712 pm which is still acceptable. I put out a chair outside of the house at 650 pm and my son step out and I told him to sit in his car and wait for the delivery person. Come 710 pm I decided to give the delivery person a mask with a little thank you for delivering our food. I just left door open and our storm door is made of glass so I can see who is coming at all. 723 pm came and my pizza is still not here, I decided to call the store to find out what is going on? A girl who answered and never gave her name put me on hold right away and after 2 minutes she came back and ask what do I want. I said I just want to inquire what happened to my order and gave her my name even spelled it to her and also gave my address, after that she said talk to my manager. Miguel the MANAGER said the pizza was delivered it was left on your porch and driver knock on your door. I said I was standing by the door and never saw anyone, my son was outside from 700 to 730 and no one came by. his answer WELL IT WAS DELIVERED AND LEFT OUTSIDE AND YOU TOOK IT INSIDE. Oh that really made me mad, he was also raising his voice because it is my fault THAT I ASK FOR CONTACTLESS DELIVERY. I told him I was standing by the door and I never saw anyone came by and my son was outside and no one came too that he saw. He said over and over that it was delivered and person knock on the door. I told him if he really delivered the pizza why it is that I never saw him when I am standing right by the door, gave him all the addresses of my neighbors whose doors are all lock and no pizza was outside and how did he leave it outside when there is no place to put them other than the cement. HE TOLD ME TO WATCH WHAT I AM SAYING, I told him that he is really really making me mad at this moment accusing me of lying by saying to me that my pizza was delivered and I took it inside my house and now I WANT A FREE ONE. First time getting a stuffed cheese/sausage from this location. Usually I go to St Charles location but the construction on North ave can drive you crazy. Well Streamwood,was just as great as St Chuck! Nice staff and prompt service. Will return it may be a little closer than St Charles anyway. Post work Friday night dinner in a snow storm and completely worth the hassle of getting here. Arrived here just about 6 and met my party for dinner. My dinner date was already there so I walked in and met him at the bar. I was not greated. The bar area was being set up for a private party so we left that area and went to the host area to be seated. Simple request, no? We had to ask the dual hosts three times to be seated. After we were seated it took several minutes before a waiter came to the table. He took our food order but failed to ask if we wanted drinks. My date did have a beverage from the bar but I guess I was meant to be thirsty. Fifty minutes later our perfectly delicious pizza was delivered. Hot, ooey, gooey awesomeness. We enjoyed our dinner and chatted for a few minutes before the check was dropped off. The drop off was accompanied by a wiff of our waiters body odor. This is where I get delivery pizza from. I've never stepped foot in the location so they could be working out of a burnt out cardboard box and I wouldn't know about, but I don't care. Their pizza is great. I always get sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms. They deliver within an hour for their deep dish pizza and it is wonderful with a nice crunchy crust, tangy slightly spicy sauce, tasty sausage and a generous portion of toppings. Came here last night with my girlfriends and was not impressed. Our server had to be new because he was awkward and rushed us out of there. We were sitting down and taking off our coats when he came and took our drink order and asked if we were ready to order. One of us hadn't even sat down yet! When he came back with our drinks he asked again. We hadn't even opened our menus. We finally placed our order and the pizza came out. Pizza was good, not the best Giordano's I've had but it hit the spot. He asked if we wanted a box and brought the check with it (didn't even ask if we were done or if we wanted dessert). We were talking and let the check sit there and he came back and asked if we could pay. (I've worked in restaurants and this was never allowed). So we gave our credit cards and continued talking. When we got the checks we realized he didn't match the receipts with the credit cards. Ugh. After that a manager came up and asked if we needed anything. A little late don't ya think since we already paid? I also walked past the bar and another server was getting dressed with talking to someone on speaker phone in the middle of the restaurant. Came in after a movie. Service was horrible. First off host was trying to tell if our table was clean??? Slow waitress, food not that great . Ordered stuffed pizza was barely even hot!! Just blah, didn't even take left overs home. Had to ask for silverware and steel the few that were on tables around us. After she brought out food she didn't even notice we had nothing to eat it with!!! Was never offered refills. While we were eating a booth next to us got up and left due to poor service. You could hear the waitress discussing with the manager (who looked very unprofessional) in front of the whole restaurant!!! I went there with my wife for dinner. The place seemed slow at time. The woman at the hostess station walked away as we entered. I assume that was to avoid any awkward eye contact. We stood in the front of the restaurant for about 10 minutes waiting to be greeted, offered a table, or at least insulted. Something to let me know that I was at least visible. We gave up and turned to leave when that must have triggered a memory in the head of the hostess of what she was supposed to do in this situation. On our recent visit to Chicago, we were recommended to try Giordano's. The claim of "Famous Stuffed Pizza" was very tempting. We ordered the fried calamari, a thin crust for the kids, and for us the "Special" stuffed pizza. Where do I begin with how insulted I was at the quality... The calamari had that old frier taste, the kids barely touched the thin crust, and the special that me and the wife tried was probably one of the worst pizzas I have personally tried. The crust was bland, dry, card-boardy. There was hardly any sausage in it, and the sauce tasted like cheap canned pizza sauce. For the price we paid for dinner, it should have been spectacular, especially in a city known for deep dish pizza. We have a few local pizza places in Omaha that would run circles around these guys. It may just be this particular location, but whatever it is, they need to fix whatever it is they are doing wrong, and quick. read more

Giordano's has sweet pie-like crust that's layered up and topped off with TONS of cheese and delicious ingredients. It's different from the more greasy delicious dough of other pizzas. From the beginning our waitress was a little off and slow... we had to ask a host to have our waitress come get us drinks never was on top of it. We ordered salads and asked for honey mustard and they brought out some lemon sauce that had no resemblance to honey mustard...We finally finished eating all our food and she brought out the bills. We had 3 different checks and she screwed every single one. After fixing all the checks we all gave our credit cards and charged my family's check on someone else's check in our group.
