Bread I paid for!! SMH
Maria R.

I absolutely love their pizza. I don't have a problem with their deep dish spinach however I ordered their chicken Parmesan spaghetti. When I asked for bread to go with it. Apparently I have to pay for bread like are we kidding? Are you not a pizza place. Whatever happens to restaurants bringing you bread and butter. This is gotta be the only place that doesn't do it. So like I said, the food was good not gonna complain however I don't think I should have to pay for a piece of bread like that's crazy. The waitress seemed a little lost not sure why. Had to repeat our order several times, but that's OK not gonna complain about that. Just be patient. You never know.

Calamari

The meal was fabulous! I ordered a deep dish with ground beef, chicken sausage and spinach. The children ordered calamari and a pepperoni pizza. No complaints! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

Slice of super veggie.
Gus S.

This is not good deep dish pizza. I tried a slice of the super veggie pie. The crust was not very crispy and lacked flavor. The sauce and toppings needed salt. It was a real waste of calories and a disappointment. I tried Lou Malnati's a few years ago and found it to be way better. I have no idea why people rave about the pizza here. It was a poor showing for the deep dish. However, the minestrone soup and mozzarella triangles were actually really good. Also, the place is nice, spacious and cozy. The server could not have been more attentive. She told us the pizza would take 45 minutes and suggested an appetizer, which prompted us to order some. I would come back, but not for the deep dish.

Never got the pizza, because I was told they lost it. I didn't have another hour to wait so I left. Very disappointing.

Our favorite deep dish pizza. Tried Lou Malnati's but there was no comparison. Love this place.

Both the deep dish and the thin crust are pretty good. Although you have to win the lottery to afford it. It's just pizza!

Pie Life is the real deal…read more If you're craving authentic NJ-style pizza, this place absolutely delivers. Joe has nailed the fundamentals that matter most -- a perfectly thin, crisp crust with just the right bite, and a sauce that's beautifully balanced between sweet and tangy without overpowering the pie. What really sets Pie Life apart is the variety of flavors. Whether you're a classic slice person or someone who likes to explore more creative combinations, every pie feels intentional and dialed in. You can tell this is made by someone who respects tradition but isn't afraid to elevate it. Easily one of those spots you keep thinking about after the last slice is gone. If you know NJ pizza, you'll recognize it immediately -- and if you don't, Pie Life is a great place to learn what you've been missing.

Looked at some of the reviews and say "why not"! Right before i entered - i saw couple with large pizza box and asked for recommendation; their reply was "the white pizza". Ugh they were sold out!!! I didn't want to get one thing because they had a variety of option; please note they aren't cheap but one slice is basically two slices. Lol! Everyone (owner/staff) were friendly - no line. If i was local i would come back. Side note - i loved the fact the owner display artwork; not sure if they are all local but they were beautiful and like the fact he was sharing other people pieces. Happy Eating!!!

Doesn't get much better than that! The guy working even threw in a free slice because they close in 45 minutes. I will be coming back.

Just moved to Wheaton and recently hosted a party at home. Since the place is so close to me and I…read moresaw they offered gluten-free pizza and slices. I decided to check it out. On my first visit, I tried a few of their jumbo New York style slices. They were not gluten-free unfortunately, but the cheese slice was fantastic. The guy behind the counter mentioned that any of their pizzas can be made gluten-free, which is amazing since most places only offer a plain gluten-free cheese pizza. For my party, I ordered (2) 18inch pizzas margarita and veggie and got the same toppings on a gluten-free crust as well. Everyone really enjoyed the pizzas, and so did I one note the gluten-free crust is best Ian wall hot as it tends to get a bit hard once at Kohl's. Next time, I'll probably just stick with the veggie version since the margarita didn't hold up as well on the firmer crust. The staff member mentioned that everything is made fresh in house daily, except the gluten-free cross which comes frozen and in one size. Overall, this is a great neighborhood, pizza spot and I'll definitely be back.
