According to AI, fake positive reviews are rampant in the plumbing business. I also think he isn't licensed, or at least I couldn't find him in the database of NY state licensed plumbers. He said Mr. Unclog hands down was the best in Westchester. A $40,000 estimate from Roto-Rooter became a simple root removal with Mr Unclog. He charged me less than Roto-Rooter charged just to LOOK at the problem without fixing it. Not to mention, Mr Unclog's team wore booties and left the basement as nice as before they came, while Roto-Rooter left droplets of pipe sludge all over the place. While scheduling can be difficult (he prioritizes emergency calls, as he should), his work is top-notch and his team goes above and beyond, doing the things you didn't think of but needed, such as making sure drains are clear when changing faucet or putting in proper shutoffs where they should be -- no cutting corners. On multiple occasions, he and his team have stayed late until the job is done. They may not be the cheapest in town, but they are easily worth the money to know that the job will be done correctly the first time -- and I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to how I think things should be done.
