Danny @DanMar is my go to for electrical work on my house. Danny just finished decommissioning my critical loads sub panel and moving the circuits back to my main panel, along with installation of a generator interlock. As I always, he keeps his appointments, was consultative about the methods to get this work accomplished and executed our agreed plan efficiently. Don't hesitate to call DanMar and talk to Danny about your job. read more

Dan installed some 20 amp circuits for me as part of a basement waterproofing project. I didn't really seek quotes from multiple electricians so can't speak to cost. But I'm a new homeowner and had no leads or recommendations for electricians. I simply saw good online reviews and saw some comments that he had a great word of mouth reputation in my area. Would definitely recommend. If you were lost like me and just trying to find an electrician give Dan a call. Can't go wrong. read more

Dan is on the short list of electricians in Scarsdale who gets repeated recommendations from posters on a local Facebook group. When I called, he was the one to answer the phone. He is knowledgeable, practical, and holds his work to the highest standard. He was quick to point out when our contractor's solution would not be up to code and offered reasonable alternatives. He was available to do a series of small jobs for a new customer on the very next business day. He arrived within 15 minutes of our scheduled time, finished earlier than anticipated and ended up charging me less than he originally quoted over the phone. As a new homeowner in Westchester, I feel fortunate to have found him and won't hesitate to use his services again read more

Five Stars is not enough stars to rate the truly exceptional experience of having Danmar Electric service my electrical needs today. Danny, and his assistant Michael, were; personable, professional, knowledgable, and empathetic to my unique situation. Compared to the amazing work in the example photos, my job was quite a small one, but, guess what- it was important to me and I could tell that they sincerely respected that. Very nice, very responsive, very quick. Job was simple but done expertly and at a reasonable price. Will use for all future electrical.

I emailed Danny with a request to come check out a light fixture, and he responded quickly, diagnosed the issue, and told me how to fix it myself. I appreciate the quick help and most especially the honesty not to come to the house for a minor issue and charge for the visit. I will certainly use them in the future for other issues that arise. read more

Our Nest Thermostat malfunctioned and Danmar Electric responded immediately and was able to fix the problem on the same day. He also improved a few other issues on the electrical panel as well as an update of an outdoor outlet . We knew we had found an excellent electrician and Dan helped us a few weeks later with an additional dining room chandelier project. We were quite happy once again. The lamp looks great and he also added a dimmer (attached picture). Excellent work and friendly service. read more

Danmar Electric - Light Fixture project - Electricians Near Me - New Rochelle, New York

I personally think He is the best electrician to hire in Westchester county. I had a breaker which can't be reset, then I called some electricians to help. One of them came, can't even diagnosis the problem, not to say to fix it. The other came fixed other things and left everything in a mess, but the problem still there. Danny came diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes, and helped me with the other issues too. He is the real professional electrician you should hire! read more

Dan was great. Affordable, made an appt right away. Nice guy.

We had Dan help install a new 220V 50 AMP circuit. It was done in 30 minutes, and his work is clean. Also, without me asking, Dan offered to have the circuit recessed inside the wall, because he said it'll look aesthetically cleaner and safer. What an awesome guy! Will use Danmar's services again for sure. read more

Excellent!! We had an outage over the weekend and they came and fixed the issue right away. Highly recommend this company. Thank you!

Danny was able to provide an accurate quote and was very responsive to yelp messages (was the first time I used it) and phone calls. Danny arrived on time and did a fantastic job for a fair price. He explained everything that he was doing and went out of his way to make suggestions to better hide electrical lines, and, also placement of my new Ring Floodlight. Above and beyond any electrician I've seen. Danny is an example of how customer service should be in this industry and I certainly would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an electrician. Can't say enough how happy I am to have chosen him and how everything panned out. Superb job Danny!! read more

Danny came to our house the day after Thanksgiving and figured out the problem straight away. Even though Con Ed came out the day before and said the issue wasn't their problem, Danny confirmed it was a Con Ed issue. He called Con Ed himself and told them exactly what the problem was. One hour later Con Ed came back and fixed the problem. Danny left his cell with Con Ed and us just to make sure there were no issues. Great service, extremely personable and all on a holiday weekend. read more
