Terrible experience from start to finish. I had two techs come to service my PTAC units. One did a…read moregreat job, the other didn't even bother cleaning the filters in my master bedroom. Immediately after the service, my 4-year-old PTAC started making noise and the thermostat stopped working properly. I called them back, and they sent a tech who insisted nothing was wrong--clearly to avoid holding the first tech accountable. I then hired another company, who found a leak and confirmed the unit was losing freon. When I confronted YuHan, she claimed it was "impossible" their first technician caused the problem and that their company "never makes mistakes." That's hard to believe when they couldn't even clean a filter. She asked me to send pictures and receipts, but it's pointless--she'll just deny responsibility no matter the evidence. She basically said I am lying. I attached a picture, this was AFTER the "cleaning". You can see the line thats leaking. The rep went as far as saying I am taking pictures of a third unit they never serviced, as if I am trying to scam them for a machine that wasn't working. Its ridiculous There are far better companies out there, and I can recommend a few. My advice: stay far away from these guys.

Elton waited patiently ( over 90 minutes) while I spoke to Sears Home Warranty about my claim/coverage. 6. When Sears unfortunately gave me disappointing news that most of the work was not covered, Elton and his boss, Carmine, stepped up in a big way. Rather than focus on what's covered/not covered or taking advantage of the situation to overcharge, they instead treated me with humanity. They gave me pricing that was incredibly reasonable and considerate. Bella provided my family service and comfort. I recommend them highly.

I'm not sure whether the individual sent out was new to the field, but there were problems all the way through. When I called to see if I could switch companies, I was told "No". The first furnace ordered, by them, was a "Downflow". One would expect from the name, that this type would be installed in an attic. When I asked about this, I was told "oh, yeah we can change it", because it was going in my basement. The installation left a hole in my wall and the new unit (which they came to measure for before ordering) went past the door frame and left me unable to close my utility/laundry room door. When I called to ask about coming back to fix it. I was told "maybe a curtain could work instead". I moved on and took the loss. Now they refuse to remove me from their calling list and keep calling with sales calls. When I tell them to stop calling and "fuck off", They call back like 8 year olds playing on the phone in the 80's. This is not a business I can recommend in ANY way. Stay far away unless you don't mind having your home damaged and then being harassed by the people who did it.

Unfortunately the damper motor had gone bad and one had to be ordered. Chris found one in inventory and secured it just in time. He came over the next day, prompt and courteous as always, replaced the part, cleaned and completed the repair in no time. In the middle of executing my plan for a DYI project, I figured out that Home Depot and Lowes does not cut sheet metal for their customers. Yet, I still needed to acquire 2 13x25 inch panels of sheet metal. So, I let Yelp.com point me in the right direction to a business. On my second call, I found Karl at Duct Gauge Heating. He asked me about my aims for the project and I shared that I was hoping that the project wouldn't be too expensive. He was so helpful and knew the exact type of metal that would be magnetic. He offered to cut them from scraps within his shop and, realizing that I needed to pick up the pieces on Saturday, he shared he would leave them just outside his door for me. As planned on Saturday, I found them just outside that door. He delivered two perfectly sized pieces, and when I returned home, I discovered that the pieces fit the frames beautifully. He knows exactly how to "Measure twice & Cut once!" and he was more than fair about the cost to both his business and his customer! These are the makings of a good local business.
