Large lettering is screaming at you for cappuccino, Café au lait, torta, Caffè, mokka, cioccolata, pain au chocholat, espresso, mandise, oh my, every type of specialty coffee you can dream up is probably there! There are croissants on display for goodness sake! Looks like they have full Italian pastry menu and baked goods, including cheesecakes! This is a reason enough for four stars in my view. The inside is clean and spacious, a dozen or so tables with chairs. There's an outdoor seating area, and the weirdest kind of all McChickens - McShrimp, as part of the taste-of-the-world campaign. I didn't dare to go for the McShripmy, as it actually didn't look as appetizing as it sounds, thank you, but No, thanks! They do have classic choices and typical combo meals, too, it's a Golden Arches place, after all. Interesting how instead of the photographs of the actual food on the advertising posters and menus, they use some perfectly even and balanced colored drawings, as it seems, in place of the artfully enhanced and creative shots of the juicy burgers, like we're used to in the U.S.

I was ignored and basically refused service. They walked up to me twice and asked if I wanted to order and once I said yes they walked away. Several other tables came in after me and there orders were taken, drinks and food delivered. The food here already sucks so makes this place totally not worth it. Just go to Arthur Land across the way. Food comes fast and is better. Ok This place calls it self an American Restaurant and Steakhouse. It is DEFINITELY NOT. I agree with another post it's more like a Burger King or Wendy's that serves beer and wine. I had a Double Cheese burger and fries with a beer there tonight. The burger was meh. It wasn't horrible but the meat was flavorless. Not sure what the yellow cheese was. It was a bit watery but was probably the most flavorful thing on the burger. The Fries were actually good. This place does actually have a very good beer selection!! The only reason for the third star. I saw a table nearby get nachos. It was a lot of chips with little of anything else. Also saw salads delivered. They came in bowels that I would have thought would have been a salad for a whole table. Salad overkill! It must not have been visually appealing because the girl did not look pleased and just picked at it. This place is not cheap but the food is. I will be trying someplace else for now.

My own oversight of course, Yelp added this business page for Autogrill on Oct 25 and prompted me to review, but I just moved on ... So now's the time! Autogrill is a chain of fast food restaurants you can find at the highway gas stations and rest stops, the Italian style. It began back in 1977. Back then, it probably was more of a restaurant than a fast food shop. People would not only visit while traveling, but also came to dine and wine. Yes, as in bottled red. There are bottles of Italian wines, limoncello, and beer, mostly local. This is more like a mix of a coffee shop and a grocery store. Food includes full line of coffees, baked goods, Italian pastries, rolls of freshly baked bread, salami, provolone, prosciutto, bresaola, cheese, pasta, all the goodies. Along with my cappuccino, I ordered a Cornetto, which is a pastry that tastes like buttery brioche, but looks like a croissant. It was pretty good.

It's not a brew house, there are no drafts on tap or anything like that, but they have a wide selection of different European specialty beers. There are shelves after shelves filled with German, Belgian, Dutch, British, Irish, Italian, and other European brands. They have a promotion underway, each €20 in beer purchases will yield you a free movie ticket (while supplies last). I didn't pursue it for a couple of reasons: no time, nor plans, for the movies, and sheer inability to consume that much alcohol, especially given the fact that these craft beers are pretty strong, being 8.5% vol.
