Just a caveat. this was my first experience with peruvian food. This place is fantastic. I had the chicken with yucca and plaintain sides. Very flavorful chicken. The sides were also well done and generous in size. A quarter chicken meal with white meat.was $8 and more than enough for a hefty appetite. Also, 3 sauces came with the meal. The food was excellent! Chicken was flawless! The Yuka was cooked perfectly! The flan was awesome. The fries were meh, as was the rice. I would've been a repeat customer however, between eat24 and gios my order took 2.5 hours to arrive (both entities blamed each other!) and I was missing items (dessert) and charged me THREE times! This place seems to have something like three different names - Gio's on Yelp, Brio's on Google maps (which is the name on the front of the store), and there's a third name that's on the window that I can't remember. I was a little skeptical of this place at first given that it looks to be very small and was located in a pretty divey strip of stores, this place is great. It's very clean inside, and the bathrooms are also very clean - bonus! The food is really good - it's got your typical Peruvian chicken offerings, e.g., delicious, moist, and well seasoned chicken, fried plantains, coleslaw (very good BTW - chopped up small a la KFC style), corn, misc veggies, beans, etc. They also have some other not-so typical offerings, like stir-fried beef type dishes that you would normally find at sit-down Peruvian places, and not at a fast-casual type place. I didn't sample the beef - only the chicken so I can't vouch for how good the beef dishes are. But if the beef is anything like the chicken, it should be excellent. The staff is super friendly. The quality of this place was a surprise to me, and I give it a five star two thumbs up rating. read more

Love coming to this place. Especially when I'm craving a tasty "Pollo Saltado" that doesn't take long to order. When you call-in for pick-up, it only takes 10mins for them to prepare it. It's very convenient since it's around 5-10mins away from my house. They give you big amount of servings that will fill you up! And it's not that expensive. You're paying a good price with the quality of service and food you're getting. This is definitely my go-to food place! read more

What a great Yelp find!!!! The chicken is full of flavor. We tried after a local swim meet. The half and quarter chicken were very good. We had yuca and plantains as sides and they were also great. We also tried lomos Soltados was good served with lots of rice. Wish we lived closer so we could visit more. Had it lomos saltados delivered from here and it was excellent. Seasoning was great portions were very generous (they lasted me two meals). Only real complaint was how soggy the fries were but I think that's part of the dish depending how the chefs make it. I've had some where the fries are on top so they don't get soggy. It doesn't get any better than this. Not a lot to choose from but they specialize in their Peruvian Style Pollo a la Brasa. Their chicken is so juicy, tender and delicious. I have eaten there so many times and the taste never gets old. This is a Peruvian restaurant so I had to try the Lomo Saltado and hot damn that is the best Lomo Saltado I've had anywhere, and major plus it's not expensive. Great prices and Great Food. The food is absolutely delicious. Chicken is amazingly flavored. Even when you have more chicken than you probably should, it doesn't feel heavy- unlike some other places. I am giving the review for the confusing signs NOT for the food. I bought a Groupon and took my mom to lunch, after visiting the FB page and reading the reviews I didn't mind driving 45 minutes for a good Peruvian lunch. I got to the location and was disappointed to see the very limited menu, but hopeful when I saw a huge board with the days specials. I believe I went on a Wednesday and even I started placing my order they were out of all try be specials except for the chicharron! I ordered 2 but asked why they have a board that says today's specials and they were already out of everything by lunch time. They explained that all those " Peruvian " specials were only on the weekends. The only Peruvian thigh they had was the chicken.... Well I didn't drive 45 minutes for chicken. I asked what about the chicharron I had just ordered, they said it was Salvadoran style as all the other food being served. I cancelled my order, and left. The staff was courteous. I returned my Groupon bit they haven't issue my refund yet even after I got an email saying " we have confirmed that the restaurant serves Salvadoran food " ....nothing against Salvadoran food but the Groupon ad says authentic Peruvian. I wish I had tried the chicken since it had good reviews, but again I was craving actual food. I am a Peruvian so pollo a la brasa to me is fast food. read more
