I have tried dessert spots all over the city, so I don't say this lightly: this is hands-down the best gelato I've had in San Francisco and some of the best gelato I've had anywhere in my life. I ordered the dark chocolate sorbet and the strawberry sorbet, and both were absolutely outstanding. Rich, intensely flavorful, perfectly textured, and incredibly fresh. Every bite tasted like it was made with high-quality ingredients. One of the highlights of my visit was meeting Jordan and his mom, Mona, the owners. They were so welcoming and passionate about what they do. I learned that everything is made on-site with fresh ingredients and no artificial additives, and you can truly taste the difference. It was the right amount of ground lamb to carrots in the ragu sauce. My son enjoyed the meatballs and the flat bread that came with it. He mostly ate the bread, dipping it in the marinara sauce. The size of each meatballs were like a good scope size ice cream. This was a good lunch to a relaxing day of shopping with my son.
