Main, my friend got veg chow mein and I got the beef with black bean sauce, spicy but nice, and some chips. Good, but I'd consider it high quality take away rather than high quality dining. Having said that though, Presentation of dishes were pretty. We finished with some tea. I was impressed with restaurant decor nice. Staff were nothing special, not very friendly but not terrible, mediocre.

They also threw in a free bag of prawn crackers which were a mix of thai and Chinese crackers. The temperature of the food could've been a bit hotter for my liking but that was the only fault. My black bean dish had a generous amount of chicken which was a nice texture and not at all rubbery like some other places. The black bean sauce was very good and had a bit of heat to it as they put red chilli into it. There was a nice amount of peppers in mine as well as a small bit off carrots and also snow peas which were a nice surprise! The chips were great for Chinese chips, nice and fresh and not reheats! Rice was good too. My mam thought her king prawn and cashew nut was very good. There was a generous amount of prawns, veg and cashew nuts and a nice amount of sauce. I would definitely recommend. They do some good lunch specials on the sit down menu too.

The Pad Thai was the perfect combo of sweet and a little heat. Nice balance of meat to noodles with plenty of greens to make your mom proud. Compared to other items this wasn't spicy at all. I guess you could take it up a notch and still be in the medium spice zone. Part 2: heat. Yes my friends we forgot to say "spicy level 1" when ordering the drunken noodles. There may have been an entire jalapeño in there or perhaps cayenne. I was blubbering like I was back in grade school with a skinned knee. But it was worth it. All you brave people say "spice level 3." Part 3: volume. Initially I was dubious of the amount they could pack into those (yes) plastic recyclable to-go containers. But then I kept eating and eating and only stopped to preserve a sliver of self-respect not gorging myself. Looks like my Irish breakfast will have a side of Thai tomorrow. Part 4: atmosphere. This is what we hope to find in a Thai place. Great decor, friendly staff, and accomplished chefs. We got it all and more here. Baan appetit!

Mismatched chairs, harsh fluorescence lighting and eating amongst the storage. You get to sit at counter or tables and watch your food being prepared and the dishes being washed. Both guys are very nice..but NOT brothers! morning If you want to get a taste to Korean. Ok, they use gochujang (I call this Korean spicy ketchup. ) I ordered bibimbop as was recommended by the cook. My fried egg was over cooked as I think requesting a runny egg was lost in translation and he gave me a fried YOLK egg. Cooked all the way. The ban Chan mixture of different Korean veggies was just okay. I miss a good ole fermented or spicy versions of kimchee. Also, I thought the rice became too mushy and some bits of the thinly slice beef was too tough or inedible. I did decide to get the chicken wings and was recommended the dakganjeong ( Korean sweet chili spices) wings. (I asked for extra chili powder on side to make more spicy...given on request). I did like the chicken wings. Nice crispy crust. Just not spicy enough with using gochujang they are serving. Would I stop by again... maybe for the wings.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This place might be a hole in the wall, but it is off the hook!…read moreThe restaurant is inside a Korean grocery store, so it's easy to miss. Not enough seating area, so you'd be lucky if you can get a table. My friends brought me here because they said it was good, so I decided to try it. My friend Marvin got the Mussel soup, and it was huge! I tried a little bit of it, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Dosirak, and it was pretty good. I didn't eat the rice though, nor the little dessert that came with it. I only ate the Salmon, Soup, and Veggies and still filled me up! Very satisfying dinner.
