Apparently a "roasted vegetable" wrap is shredded carrots, bell peppers, onions and raw spinach. Seems like it was nuked rather than roasted

Just had such a terrible experience at Urban Picnic. I ordered upon arrival and the girl who greeted me was lovely, but I could tell the owner was stressed and maybe shorthanded right away. I asked what soup it was, the girl asked him, and he retorted "what do you think it is." Super unprofessional. It then took 30+ minutes to get my food, and they didn't even bring me water while I waited (though I'd asked for it). I witnessed the owner turn away a woman because he was "too busy to take her order" and there were maybe 12 people in the restaurant including me. I was damn close to walking out as I was getting increasingly hangry, but against my better judgement I stayed. My food arrived, and the "roast vegetable wrap" had raw spinach, shredded carrots and green bell peppers. Not a roasted veg in sight. To top it off, they're cash only. Super annoying. There are loads of better options in the area like Ugly Duckling a few doors down, Avoca a few streets away etc, so I won't be back.

    Green curry & Tuna wrap

Everything was fine, but that's about it I ordered the Green Curry w/ chicken and basmati rice, and a pappadam. It was all kind of bland and the rice was overcooked. My boyfriend got a tuna wrap that looked ok, but nothing special. Skip it on your travels and eat elsewhere.

Had the chicken tikka sandwich and it was average. Chicken was tasteless and rubbery. Service was good and location is lovely. Maybe I was just unlucky with my choice.

really delicious omelette!! Done with love, it's possible to feel it. Lovely staff! Really worth

Large sandwiches and a cup of soup at a decent price. The large wooden tables were a nice novelty but it can be a bit tight for space

Our first meal in Dublin was at The Old Mill Restaurant, right in the heart of Temple Bar. It's been serving traditional Irish fare since the 1980s and has become a favorite stop for both locals and visitors looking for classic comfort food. After about a 20-minute wait, we were seated in the warm, inviting dining room. Susan ordered the mussels, one of her favorites, while I went with the Traditional Irish Stew and my daughter chose the Braised Beef & Guinness Stew. Both were exactly what we hoped for: hearty, flavorful, and perfect after a day of sightseeing. I finally understood why the Guinness stew had such a rich, dark color, and I have to admit, I came home a big fan of Irish stew. We finished with the Homemade Bread & Butter Pudding topped with fresh cream and custard, a comforting dessert that was the perfect ending to the meal. Service, atmosphere, value, and food were all five out of five. We also enjoyed chatting with the floor manager, whose pride in the restaurant and his team was obvious. That kind of hospitality made a great meal even more memorable.

We asked about the soup flavor & they offered a taste and brought out a huge sample boat. Super cool. I got the cottage pie lunch portion, which is more than I could barely eat. It came with a boat of the sauce /and gravy and meat. Wife got the fish and chips... The fillet was longer than the plate and it came with a mountain of fries, both delicious. Daughter got the creamy vegetable soup and chips. She loved it but couldn't even finish half. All the portions were very generous, nobody finished their meal, too bad we couldn't have taken it back to our hotel. Server was great & funny. Love this place.

The potato cakes were ok but the avocado served on top was not all the way ripe and therefore a little hard and not very flavorful. My Greek beleni was ok too It was spongy in texture which is to be expected. It didn't have a ton of filling. Everything here was just a little bland. Well cooked and priced appropriately.

The portion sizes kind of seem small but that could be because my girlfriend and I split everything and it was basically a couple of bites from each other's dishes. We got the blueberry lemon pancakes, and a meat dish for the needed protein, so one savory and one sweet, the way breakfast is meant to be worshipped and devoured simultaneously. Beautiful, small place that gets packed very quickly. Interestingly enough I thought it was a French bistro, but I believe the owners hail from Ukraine as that is the country flag that was hung outside the shape if my world history learnings are correct. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would come back in a New York minute if I get the chance to visit Dublin again. As always people SYOY!!!
