I normally don't write long reviews, but I truly feel like this experience deserves one. From the moment we first contacted JJ, he listened to what we were looking for and showed us options that actually made sense for our family and our situation. We immediately felt comfortable with the vehicles he showed us, and from the moment we walked into the dealership, we felt welcomed. The environment was calm, clean, and comfortable even with us having our 5-year-old and 1-year-old with us. The entire staff was kind to us, and our kids were definitely spoiled while we were there. Then it was time to get down to business. We were genuinely in need of a reliable vehicle, but we also knew our credit history wasn't the best because of financial mistakes we made in the past. We weren't trying to hide anything. We came prepared with a solid down payment and brought everything we could to the table to show the income my husband and I generate and the responsibility we have taken on, especially raising a large family. For us, this wasn't just about buying a car. We were looking for a second chance. We had prayed for God to guide us in the right direction and put the right people in our path people who could look beyond some numbers on a credit report and recognize that people can grow, mature, learn from past mistakes, and become more responsible. That's where Andrea came in. Andrea was straight up with us from the beginning about our situation and what we were working with. She started working with us around 4:45 PM, knowing she was supposed to get off at 5:00. Instead of rushing us out the door, she stayed. And she WORKED. She stayed until around 7 PM working with lenders and trying different options to make something happen for our family. I was sitting across the room and could occasionally see into her office through the glass, and this woman was WORKING that phone! She genuinely put in the effort, and that meant more to us than she probably realizes. After all the hard work, WE GOT APPROVED! Because of our credit history, we didn't walk away with the exact vehicle we originally wanted and that's okay. What we walked away with was something much more important to us, a reliable vehicle, an opportunity to rebuild, and a second chance. We understand that rebuilding our credit and financial history is our responsibility, and we're grateful to have an opportunity to start this new chapter and make better decisions that will ultimately benefit our children and our future. If you're someone who has made financial mistakes in the past, but you've matured, taken responsibility, and are truly ready to rebuild, I highly recommend giving this dealership a chance. Mgr) he could not tell if it was gonna be Warrt or not. I needed my diesel CEL LOOKED AT & was told that They NO LONGER Worked on Diesel Trucks!!!! ..... Horrible Service Department! I stopped by to have a diagnostic done on my 2015 Chevy Malibu today. I was told that they do not service vehicles over 100k miles and that the year didn't matter. I was not given any solutions. I was also told that they are privatly owened and have the right to refuse any vehicle. When asked why, I could not get any answer other than they can refuse and vehicle because they are privately owned. Both Ashley and Yolanda were condescending and couldn't care less about the situation. Don't get attached to the service department. If your car is over 10 years old, they will not service it. I had great service the first time I went. The second time I tried to schedule service, I was told they don't service cars over 10 years old (Apparently, they have a mileage cut off as well.). Corporates answer to this is it is a franchise. In April of this year, I bought a 2017 Dually Truck from this dealer. 3 Months later I decided to sell my truck for family reasons. I tried to sell my truck 3 different times and each time other dealers told me something is wrong with the title. the last dealer printed out the carfax report and it said (BRANDED TITLE - BUYBACK\LEMON) I went back to Ginn and explained that the truck is showing up with a branded title and it wasn't on the original carfax report when I bought the truck. The sale manager didn't show any kind of compassion or address why the truck now has a branded title. Basically told me it's my problem now. I was handed a piece of paper saying my oil needed changing because the light was on. There was not referance to either of the 2 issues I brought it in for and I have serious reservations that anything was seriously looked at as it had the exact same mileage on it when I picked it up. I'll start off by saying, I have always dreaded buying a car. Every time we've been to a dealer, we've been overwhelmed with pushy sales staff and there's usually a yelling match in the finance office! We've been working with Deon for the past week and he is the most laid back, yet effective, salesman I have ever met! My Wife went in to look at the new Malibu and he handed her the key and told her that he'd see her tomorrow! We kept the car until the next day and when she returned it, he simply asked if we liked it. There were no nagging follow up calls, in fact, we contacted him a couple of days later, with questions about available options, etc. We gave him a list of "Must have" options and he began searching for the car that suited us. During the search, we actually located a car, at another dealership in GA, and asked Deon if he could get that one. We asked him to go ahead and run the numbers and give us a price so he got to work. Within 30 minutes, he contacted us with, surprisingly, an awesome deal and we didn't even bother haggling because he was already at the same number we had in our heads! We told him to go ahead and get the car and let us know when we could take delivery!! Within 24 hours, Deon let us know the car was on the lot and we could take delivery when it was convenient for us to do so. After work yesterday, we dropped by and Deon introduced us to Wendy, the tech expert at the dealership. Wendy walked us through setting up the various tech options and helped us get registered for OnStar, etc. Once we finished speaking with Wendy, we were directed into the Finance office. This is usually the hardest part for some reason. As we took our seats in the Finance guy's (Mark) office, I cringed in anticipation of the usual argument. He already had the paperwork laid out and he actually answered our questions before we had the chance to ask them! It was the smoothest signing session I have ever experienced! I didn't think professionalism and customer existed anymore. however, these guys are AWESOME!! Bottom line is, if you ever find yourself needing/wanting a new car, start here!! I have a 2017 Malibu with 33,000 miles on it. A few months after I bought the car I notice the carpeting coming out from beneath the siding on the passenger and driver side. I have since taken it back to be fixed about3-4 times and they still have not been able to fix it. it still keep coming out everytime anyone sits in that area (driver or passenger). they continue to put padding beneath the carpet, now it is lumpy and looks ugly. when I take the car they want to keep it for hours or a day at a time but they refuse to give me a loaner to drive which I find is very inconsiderate. After all I paid $27,500 for this vehicle and its still in warranty. I know this is not a life threating issue, But why should i accept sub-standard work when i'm paying full price. GInn has he worst service dept on the planet. I purchased 2 new vehicles in one day at GINN. The sales staff were fine. But, once we had issues with both vehicles, the problems started. The arrogance and pompous attitude of the service mgr is enough to make one want to commit a crime. Lol. Unbelievably terrible service. They always try to pass the buck OR say get an appt. My wife has intermittent starting problems with her Malibu. Also warning light issues. Instead of running diagnostics and finding the issue, they said " it's not happening now so we can't do anything". The moral of the story is.... don't buy from GINN. The staff in the service department is very rude! I always take my 2013 Chevy Malibu to get any problems fixed, but each time I go here , I always have a problem with the rude service dept. staff. The service manager was not very nice and a technician just dropped my keys in my hand like I was contagious, even after I told him thanks! The two ladies are never friendly and have a tendency to get smart with you. I hate that I had to experience this type of behavior at a dealership where i have spent lots of money at. My mom paid almost $800 for her car repair only to find out she needed a battery, who'd she find it out from? Ginn Motor, the same day she goes to pick it up , it has to be jumped off. That's the reason she got it towed there! They offered nothing to her, only for her to pay $200 to get a battery put in. They have no proof (that they gave us) that her car even needed the alternator they put in or that her battery had passed the test when the car was first towed there. I was so upset to the point of tears and instead of offering an explanation of what went wrong they called the police lying saying that I got in the service manager's face. The police came and left without incident because I did nothing wrong. If this was the last place on earth, I'd buy a bike instead of allowing them ROB me. here's a picture of their statement saying they drove the vehicle to verify the repair was complete and the receipt saying the battery is shot. I'm amazed at how calm they were about stealing someone's money. My mom works entirely too hard to be treated like this. She went to a certified Chevy service center knowing she may have to pay more but with the expectancy that her car would be fixed. Here we are on the way to another shop to get a battery. What a shame. Now the air and heating system is not working of course "at no failt of theirs" and the GM told my mom she shouldnt have come to them and should have went to the dealership she's been going to. It is not uncommon to encounter problems with service departments at any dealership. I have found Angela and Jim capable of rectifying any problem that I may have encountered. I went here today to get an oil change and ended up walking out of the door. My husband and I went in to drop my car off and we stood there for over 15 minutes with nobody at all saying a word to us. There were only two cars in there getting oil changes and at least 4 guys working and still nobody could speak to us. Another employee walked in and then a couple guys stood outside and smoked while we stood there still with not one person approaching us. Finally a guy walked up to the register and I thought he was coming to talk to me. He looked right at me and turned around and completely ignored me and walked away again. Ginn Motor Co. will no longer get ANY of my business. Their service department and its personnel are horrible. They do not do work on time, do not contact customers with information in a timely manner, do not work with the specific needs of customers, and create an environment that puts customers at the bottom of their priorities. For example, my husband and I have had extensive waiting periods for my Tahoe with complete disregard for our schedules. A whole day can go by without any word from them about progress. They tell you a few minutes for diagnostics when it's hours. They do not know if parts are in stock or not. They provide no courtesy vehicles and often don't even know if one's available. The list goes on and on. Service is defined as "the action of helping or doing work for someone." They have not learned this at Ginn. They will never receive a penny from me for another job or service, and I am diligently telling people I know what a horrible experience they will have if they work with this terrible institution. read more

Recently, we had our car serviced at Ginn. After a terrible experience that started first with them not doing as we asked them to do. Then the service manager argued with my husband over the phone on how it was handled. When we got our car back after 28 hours we found out that they had drove our car for 42 miles! Complained again to their General Manager, who stated that test driving the car for 42 miles is not unusual sometimes they even drive them for 300 miles! Can you believe that! I bought my vehicle here, and after 17,000 miles, my a/c compressor locked up, and the belt needed to be replaced. I spoke to Jerry over the phone. He said bring it in; we'll get you a ride home. I explained that I was working graveyard shift. He said it will only take a few minutes, so as I made my way up there, I spoke with Jerry, and he assured me that it will only be a few mins. But I waited and I waited and I waited. After 2 hours and 20-30 mins, I went to check on my vehicle. I asked, "Hey, what's taking so long?" He then said, "They're getting ready to put your compressor in." I got no rental or ride home; it was a total disregard for my being up for over 24 hours, which I explained in the beginning. I told JERRY to get my vehicle NOW!!! I also told him he was a liar because he lied to me multiple times that day. This dealership is the WORST ever. Please don't bring your vehicle here. They lie and won't do the right thing. If you look at their website, it has 5 star ratings...sure, because they can pick and choose, you'll see nothing under 5 stars. For the guy who gave Five stars on here for buying a vehicle at Ginn. Wait until you need work done on it like me. They treat you like a king to buy a vehicle, then the take the money and run. When you need work done on your vehicle, it's like being in a 3rd world country--a horrible place to do business. They will only reach out after you post something. However, I traveled down to Bellamy Strickland, and they treated me like a King. I called them and told them about my a/c, drove down, and was given a ride back home. Three hours later my vehicle was ready; they picked me up to get my vehicle. Wow! That was service...top notch. So, beware of Ginn Motor in Covington, Georgia. My sales person was awesome: knowledgeable, patient, and persistently followed up. The service department and customer relations departments are questionable. I wish I would have bought my vehicle elsewhere. I didn't get the rear entertainment system I wanted because they wanted to get a really cheap version installed on my new very expensive vehicle, so now I have to pay a bunch of money to get the headrest version from the Chevrolet site. My trade-in was undervalued. There was a rude woman in the service department when I called about a concern I had. I only called because she didn't follow up with my email request. I also never got a follow up with my accessories email request. The customer relations manager reverted me to contact somebody else instead of having them contact me. I will be getting my servicing needs and accessories needs met somewhere else. I deeply regret I didn't purchase my vehicle somewhere else. read more

STAY AWAY! I bought a brand new 2013 chevy cruze from them in April 2013. I have had more problems out of this car in 5 years than I have ever had out of a car period. They are the rudest people ever, especially the service dept. After picking up my car from getting fixed for 2 recalls, I get back to work and turn the car off, my fan continues to run once the car has been turned off for 20 mins or so. Remind you the car was not running hot at all. So I called back to ask them if they had any problems with my car and the first person which was named Jerry which I think is the manager in the service dept. put me on hold for a few mins told me he was checking on it, then I was taken off hold, heard people conversing and then I was hung up on. I called back and got a lady, she put me on hold, returned and told me that the guy that worked on it didn't have any problems out of it but the guy that brought me my car did and had to jump my car off. Funny how they didn't bother telling me that they had to jump my car off. I refuse to ever shop with them again and I will be taking further actions. I was told that they only fixed my 2 recalls but it's funny my car was working fine when I left it but now I am having to jump my car off because my fan keeps running which is killing my battery. read more
