When we pulled up we were nervous because it was super busy, but when I told them it was an emergency and we had to be in Charleston, they sprung to action and had a new tire on our car in no time. 5/18/2026 Purchased a new set of tires, went on vacation for 2 weeks, returned, and two days of driving, the rear tires kept losing pressure. I did not have any problems with pressure loss before purchasing tires from this company. The left rear tire kept dropping pressure to 10 on the first set of tires and required daily air refills. The tire had no nails and no rim issues. Took the car back for evaluation and this company could not find the problem. Had to ask the cashier for the corporate number, which she didn't know, and was reluctant to give and then at that time encountered a very rude manager, Ray who stated, "I'm corporate, what can I do for you?", I asked him to replace the rear tires since they could not find the problem. On 6/5/2026 the rear tires were replaced and on the following morning, the left rear tire continued to lose pressure and required daily air fills. Due to a lack of trust and lack of confidence in the work at this company, I took my car to a different Tire company for evaluation, and they immediately knew it was the stem valve. Ray, the manager at Bull's Dog, stated they had checked that out on my previous visits and did not see a problem. After paying this company a fee, I went back to collect my money from Bulldog Tires, and Mr. Ray, the manager, was very rude and unprofessional. Being a woman, and the kind of attitude and lack of sleep from the stress of the back and forth, I would not recommend buying tires there. Called on Thursday to shop tires. Was given a price that met a competitive price of another tire from another tire dealer. Arranged the entire next day (Friday) around tire install. Called Friday morning to set up install appointment. An hour later got a call back and was told "we never gave you that price and cannot do those tires at that price. But we can do this other tire for a slightly lower price next week." BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE! BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH! read more

Seriously these folks are the best. They even have a thing where they will pick up your vehicle, fix it and bring it back (within a certain range of course). The people are really nice and they know what they are doing. So far everything they have fixed has stayed fixed. There are a lot of closer places to us and there is nothing wrong with them but I feel a loyalty to Bulldog. They also have a nice waiting room. I have come to trust them totally. read more

I went to this place to get my vehicle aligned after getting new engine mounts and transmission mount installed by a reputable transmission shop. They told me it will need to be aligned. Bulldog told me that I needed two new shocks, because you need to replace them in pairs. But they told me that my right strut was broken, and that they could not do the alignment. I brought the vehicle to another reputable shop that deals with alignments and they told me that my struts are completely fine, and that they are leaking just a little bit, but nothing that will affect the alignment. Bulldog quoted me 1200 bucks to replace both struts. This is on a 2014 car with 100,000 miles on it, mostly highway driven. There is no reason to replace struts that are still perfectly fine to do an alignment. Especially since the alignment was perfect before I had the new mounts installed. read more

I have been buying tires and brake service at Bulldog since 1988. My kids took their cars there too as they grew up. Bulldog is the only place I totally trust to give me the truth about what my cars need and don't need. I've had several new cars that the dealerships have tried to convince me that needed brakes or tires but when I asked Bulldog for their opinion I sometimes found out that my tires or brakes had a lot more useful life in them than I had been told. I noticed some reviews complained about the wait but for me that's an indication of good service as they are always busy and since no appointments are necessary that shows me the wait is worth it. If you drop off in the morning they will let you know if it will be ready same day. read more

Always fast to get the work done on my car, but sometimes as an older woman I'm never sure if they're telling me I need something else done to my car every time because they can Or because they're telling the truth. My husband always checks before I go and has never had any additional issues but bulldog always finds something. read more

I won a free alignment and an oil change from a silent auction to benefit Chimney Park. I get that it's a free alignment and that probably bothers them that they aren't getting paid for this job, but they're the ones that gave this out as a prize, it's not my fault. The service writer is treating me like a nuisance. Thing is, these free jobs are my first impression of them, and if they ever wanted to gain a customer, they could treat me the same as any other and maybe gain a customer out of this. con artists I took my sonata to them a back in august I bought new tires and alignment there pick it up @510 pm iasked them was anything wrong with it the guy said there was a lil play it in at the time I don't know what that meant so I drove off I brought it back 30 seconds later n said wtf did y'all do to hit why is my steering wheel off center like...then they tell me I inner n outer tire/tie rods ordered the part had them installed I called them when I got them installed now they giving me the run around bout my alignment don't ever go there again there horrible as a company/branch manager n all read more

I came in on 1/31/22 at 11:40 and asked if they had time for an oil change for my Lexus. The man said there were a lot in line so I asked if it would be an hour or more. He then just kinda stares and says he'll get me in. So I wait and wait until I realize it has been over an hour so I go over to the desk and ask how much longer it would be? They told me it was on the lift now. I was upset because I told them if they had just let me know it would take that long I would have come another day. I had other appointments and ended up very late. I also just felt uncomfortable there as a women because most of the men stared at me and made me feel like I can't go there without my husband. read more

Best prices in the area on the brand named tires and always honest and very friendly service too! I can honestly say that they'll do whatever they can to earn your trust and your business. I was calling around the 1st time I needed tires for a Ford F-250 4wd and 2/3rds of the, "legitimate" tire places wanted outrages prices. I knew that you spend more for the size but I was not looking for any aggressive or specialized type of tires, the truck came with Michelin's on from the factory and I got twice the life out of them I was told to expect. Bulldog had the tires in stock and when they gave me a price I almost passed out, and I said that's the highest price I've ever heard for 1 tire mounted balanced and aligned! The gentleman told me that was a quote for all 4 installed with the works! I just remember being told that he only had one set left and I offered to give him a credit card to run and said that I'll be there in under 10 minutes, he laughed and I'll be sure to hang on to them for me. Well, that was 12 years ago and 6 sets of tires for myself and my whole family's vehicle's needs. We dropped off an 89 Ford my stepson was driving to have them look at it cause it had run a little hot... Now they stated it wouldn't run so that's why they wouldn't look at it but I'm surprised since supposedly they have a stable of so called mechanics working there... Anyway they refused to look at so we've spent about 1000$ there this year, wife's been going there for 30 plus years but apparently this shop has fallen a long ways as far being able to troubleshoot and repair cars. If it's because it might've been older they didn't want to work on it, ok I'll buy that but they don't have any business working on our newer cars if they can't repair the older ones.
