Our first time here, we made reservations for a Friday evening. Good thing as it was busy. We ordered the Mongolian grille, a plate of Crab Rangoon, and edamame. For drinks we had hot sake and a Peach Bellini. The appetizers were really good. The same was warm, but not hot enough. I should have sent it back. The food and oil choices were great. Besides a few seafood choices, they had beef, pork, chicken, and sausage. Lots of veggie choices, too. The oils choices were plenty.

Next time I'm in Lincoln, I'm coming back here! I attended a bachelor party in Lincoln, and our last stop in the City was catching dinner here. We were able to change our reservation schedule for a party of 8, and they helped do everything they could to accommodate. We were seated about 10 minutes after our improvised reservation time on a Saturday night. Service was well-paced. The menu has many different options, but as always, the peanut butter chicken caught my eye. The flavor of the food was phenomenal, while the chicken itself was more tender compared to most other classic chicken dishes. I loved the aesthetics, felt cared for, and the food (although a little more upscale) was worth the price. I cannot wait to be back in the future and to try something else!

What a gem in this small town :) My sister and his bf been raving this place for quite awhile now. They've been telling me of how affordable this spot is for a AYCE Mongolian BBQ. I lived in LA, so we have a lot in here, but for less than a $20.. it's unheard off. So when I visited my sis for the first time, I cannot wait to try this place out. Couple of months later..... I visited my sis and my first dinner in Nebraska is in here. The first thing I noticed of how fancy this place looks like. Like damn! The place looks super fly with its own bar and they serve Japanese food, as well. Although, I am not here for that.. I am curious. Of course, we ordered their AYCE self serve Mongolian BBQ. Typical Mongolian bbq set up.. you got your bowls and fill it out with meat, veggies and sauces. The unique way I order this.. I don't put any noodle or carb like ingredients.. just straight up meat. Btw they have a seafood meats too such as shrimps, scallops and a damn salmon. What?! An AYCE salmon meat for under $20. Sweet baby Jesus just take my money.. I'm sold! So there you have it! This is my Yelp story why I really like this place :) Overall, I'm 100% going here whenever I visit my sis. PS: Great customer service for the guys manning the grill.. give them a raise :)

Delicious, great waitstaff, a bit of a long wait, but fantastic service and sushi! Will come again!

My review is based on my dinner, the Sashimi Deluxe - 21 pieces of sashimi (actually... 22!). I considered giving a three-star review, but in yelp terms that means A-OK and the sashimi was anything but okay. Some of the fish was okay, but some of it was also questionable. Not so bad that I refused to eat it (I WAS starving!), but enough that made me think, "Hmm... this isn't the freshest of fish". The salmon was a big disappointment. I love the taste of salmon sashimi and especially the mouthfeel. The texture of the salmon sashimi was not like velvet and flavor was missing. The white fish, which I assume was escolar, was not good. I won't go into a description fish by fish, but suffice to say it was not enjoyable. I did get a free California roll thanks to yelp! It was good, a bright spot in the dinner. It was a bit heavy on cream cheese, but hey... who doesn't love cream cheese! The plum wine was very good. The staff was attentive. The menu is huge and there were a lot of people going up to a food bar, putting stuff in bowls and then taking it to chefs to prepare. This area seemed to be the most popular. Perhaps this food is what brings in the crowds, so you might want to check it out. But it you are in the mood for delicious sashimi, this is not the place.

    Small, tiny sushi

Absolute smallest rolls I've ever had. Use to frequent this establishment all the time years ago, don't think I'll be going back after how tiny the sushi was.

Still a fan. I don't get to Ginger often because I don't find myself on this side of town very often. But, I did get a chance to go back and sample the Pink Lady Roll (Tuna, salmon, yellow tail, white fish, cucumber, avocado topped with spicy mayo and strawberry sauce). What a yummy roll! The strawberry sauce is a compliment, not overpowering and even turned my sushi hatin' sister into a fan. If you've got your eye on this roll get it!

We started with the soft shell crab appetizer, which was incredibly fresh with a light, perfectly crisp tempura batter. For our main course, we went with a selection of sushi, and it was phenomenal. The fish was extremely fresh, served at the perfect temperature, and every flavor paired beautifully. One thing I really appreciated is they don't smother their sushi in sauces, they let the freshness and quality of the fish speak for itself, the way it should. I then had my agadashi tofu. It was crisp and nice. The batter could be lighter and the tofu could be the softer kind... - to me that would be nirvana. But for this- it was good. My handroll and sushi was fresh and delicious. It was a good afternoon with the good food My drink happy sumo- was nice just didn't really do it for me though. Ambiance was nice and zen. I like it. The chair was not very stable and if you leaned back you could fall. I'm quite small, as long as I didn't lean back I was good. The decor looked like a cross between industrial and a pub, not neccessarily a japanese restaurant. The restaurant has a full bar with mixed drinks, red and white wine and beer. There is all you can eat sushi - but we didnt order that as we were not that hungry. Hubby ordered a diet coke and I got japanese jasmine tea. Yamamoto yama tea that came in a nice ceramic pot with a ceramic cup. Drinks came promptly. We ordered age tofu, and fried spring rolls for appetisers. Age tofu was crispy and sauce for it was good. But the age tofu that I'm used to had a much lighter batter which i prefer. The spring rolls were a tad cool to touch- and mushy inside ( feels like something frozen then fried and left there - then lightly refried. ) not made fresh to order. We ordered the Kasumi and Nebraska. Sushi was well wrapped- combination of rice to ingredients ratio was good. Sriracha on sushi was a little odd. Both hubby and I agreed we liked the Nebraska roll a little better than the Kasumi. Condition of the restaurant - could be improved. Service - decent Food - oķ but not great. When my order arrived, the food was cold, which may have been more of a DoorDash issue since the delivery took quite a while. However, the bigger problem was the roll itself. The fish tasted terrible--so bad that I spit it out. I've had this roll many times before and know what it should taste like, and this was definitely not right. On top of that, I was missing a crab rangoon. When I tried to resolve it through DoorDash, they only offered a partial refund, so I called the restaurant directly. The employee I spoke with was argumentative from the start. When I explained that the roll was cold, soggy, and tasted like bad fish, he had excuse after excuse for why it was that way. The reality is that the food was not edible, and I had to spend more money to get something else to eat. As for the missing crab rangoon, he insisted that he personally packed my order and knew it was in the bag. He repeatedly told me he put it in there and suggested the DoorDash driver must have taken it. I told him I didn't care who put it in the bag--the point is that it wasn't in my order when it arrived. Instead of trying to help or make it right, he argued with me and basically accused someone else of stealing it. Mistakes happen, but poor customer service and refusing to take concerns seriously are what earned this review. I won't be ordering from here again.

(I ordered chicken as an extra but it wasn't in there.) Rather than make a fuss I just let it go even though I paid extra for it. This time I received a half pound size container with some yellow curry which didn't taste the same as the first one it was much spicier. It had a couple potato slices and a few slices of tofu and that was it. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill.
