We went for lunch on a Tuesday. Only one waitress due to almost no one being in there--one table of…read morefour was leaving and another table of two was nearly done, then us. After both tables emptied a single person came in and sat down--he didn't use a menu so he appeared to be a regular. We ordered one salmon dip appetizer which tasted good but was mostly cheese. The disappointment came with both our entrees. The Blazing BBQ Burger patty was overcooked and dry--no pink inside--and not a drop of juice. The BBQ sauce and Thousand Island-type dressing on the top bun did not help the dryness. The flavors of the jalapeño bacon, ghost pepper cheese chile relleno and BBQ sauce were a good choice. Overall the burger was just OK. Never ordering this again. The second entrée was a French Dip. A good portion of beef and a plentiful amount of au jus. The French Fries for both entrees were the bomb. We will come back again to try again.

From happy hour to the regular menu, everything has been outstanding every time. Corey and his crew really know how to deliver consistently great dishes and a great experience. I genuinely couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Great, innovative cocktails in the heart of Eastsound. We went here after dinner around 8pm and it…read morewas super busy. There's always seats if you don't go in the summer, as I see some people brave the cold and enjoy their drinks right outside, but we wanted to be warm so we took one of the last tables and eventually moved to the bar seats. We happened to go during the Orcas Island Film Festival so we decided to try some cocktails in that theme. One of them was the Harlem Renaissance which was inspired by Once Upon a Time in Harlem, and we opted for a $2 add on of smoke which was well worth the additional flavors. This cocktail was really interesting as it comes with a candy cig with ashtray for a fun little drink The other we got was Frou Frou which is fruity and light, inspired by "Coward". I found this refreshing yet not as innovative as the Harlem Renaissance. One slight miss is that some ice were a bit too crushed so it dilutes the drink quite a bit, but the drink is so flavorful and strong that I didn't really mind all that much for this drink For fun, we also tried the Underberg which is a digestif bitters which is incredibly bitter but herbal, kind of like a jagermeister. It apparently helps with digestion if you overconsume. It was an experience and worth the $5

Very pricey, but quality ingredients and a very complex blend of fat washed bourbon with spice & citrus. Also tried a clarified rum punch drink that was a special and it was delicious as well. They do offer a very limited menu of small bites like an onion dip and chips, some hummus and cheese plates along with sardines.

Was at Fort Langley for lunch so figured I should stop by here on my way home since it was less…read morethan a 10min drive away. It wasn't busy at all when I arrived. I was the only there since it was 1pm on a Monday after all. Was about to grab to an Old Fashion after looking at their online menu, but was then told that they did flights so that's what I got. The flight; You choose six from a list of about 15. They do primarily vodka, but they do have some whiskey, gin, and even am Absinthe. I was very happy with all 6 and would order them again. I won't really go into any detail about each spirit since everyone has their own preference when it comes to alcohol. What I can say is that their Old Fashioned Spirit was my favorite. The service: The person working at the time was really friendly and helpful. Willing to answer questions about the spirits and make recommendations. The distillery: It's small and due to Covid Protocols they're only accepting 6 people in the building; however, they have a lot of outdoor space to enjoy. Their pick-up truck bar is the most eye catching so that's where we sat. I'd 100% come back here and if I lived in Langley I'd probably make this place one of my go to hangouts.

Nice place to visit. Great cocktails. Unfortunately their products aren't up to snuff. I bought…read moretheir Lavender Gin at a local liquor store. It is the worse hard liquor I have ever bought. Lavender?? No, just some slightly amber gin that I can't even mix with anything. Whitley Niell makes a great Parma Lavender Gin that I first tried in a cocktail in Portsmouth UK. It isn't sold in Canada anymore unfortunately and was only for a short period. That was the reason I snapped up the Roots and Wings gin but I am resigned to using it for cleaning. I did try some of their other products and only the Abisnstine impressed me. I would have loved to have given a great review of their liquor but that wasn't possible. Drinking their cocktails is a different thing as they have a great mixologist. My advice- visit them, get a sample before buying, and buy only what tastes good to you. Everyone has different tastes.

Connor is a genius! I told him I wanted a couple of n/a cocktails and that he could pick for me…read more(I'd like anything) or experiment on me. He chose the latter. OMG! Each used n/a spirits (n/a mezcal in the latter) and a symphony of sophisticated ingredients, which wish I tell you what. Each had a speared dried citrus slice and a luscious ginger bite (or something!) a top. The first had included honey, but it wasn't sweet--just complexified with a little snap to it that the honey smoothed; the second was a little sweeter in tone, including a bit of huckleberry along with the mezcal. (Connor might recall them by my play name for them. Inspired by a book in my hand on collecting meteorites, I nicknamed the first the "Extraterrestrial Visitor" and the second the "Heavenly Visitor.") They were so delicious I suggested he put them on the menu. If he does or doesn't, no matter. Just ask him if he has time to get creative for you. He'll ask you flavor tone preferences, or you can just go for whatever he wants to make, like I did. Again, he is excellent. I enjoyed my lovely drinks with a Caesar salad (another OMG!) which included crispy bacon bits and loads of tiny shreds of a delicious white cheese along with a creamy dressing. It was scrumptious as was the very lovely charcuterie plate. Pistachios, green apple slices, fat outstanding Castelvetrano olives (caution: with pits), a luscious pepper jelly that went beautifully dipped into with their choice of excellent crackers, delicately flavored salami and a prosciutto so elegantly-flavored it could make you weep. And it was lovely enjoying it all on their "porch" on a sunny day.

During a recent stay at the Fairhaven Village Inn (adjoining) we were excited about visiting…read moreGalloway's - based on the website's photos and posted menu. The place has potential but honestly disappointed. See photo below of the Hummus Platter. Really? Next came the "Baked Brie with Figs & Cherries" - which sounded delicious. No figs in sight - yes, a ramekin of baked brie with a bit of cherry in it, but... uninspired. We also ordered the Stuffed Potobello - and left most of it on the plate. Pros? It was close to our hotel, and has charming half-moon booths. Summary? Uninspired with potential.
