The place had the coolest vibe. We ate out back with all the picnic tables and corn hole and fire pit. It was like being in someone's backyard! Food was amazing. Had the homemade guacamole with homemade chips and Miami Tango tacos...off the hook! Amazing margaritas too. The best part was our server, Sierra. So attentive and wanting to be helpful. I went here over the summer with friends and family. The outside tables are iron with giant holes and their attempt to work around that is with slate slabs that wobble under plates and cups. The gazpacho I had tasted like they threw salsa in a blender. The "cheese plate" was bread with Swiss cheese...that's it. This after the waitress told us about several cheese varietals that the chef had been serving lately and adding that she had a nice swiss today. Not only a Swiss today. We love coming to Gina's! We always try to get Pyper as our server because she's awesome! I always get the same thing every time-lighthouse tacos. I have celiac disease and they are always super accommodating and careful although there is nothing labeled gluten free on the menu. Their margaritas are to die for. The outside seating area is very charming and relaxing. It is especially nice when it's fall and they have a fire going. If I lived in St. Michael's, I would probably eat here multiple times a week! Being able to sit outside in the patio area on a nice day is lovely. Service and food was eh. Fair warning - only fish and vegetarian fare is on the menu, which is fine for me because I'm vegetarian. However, vegetarian tacos left something to be desired as far as texture and taste. No TVP options for true vegetarians and all the food seemed heavy on the mayo, melted cheese, and cream sauces. This place is quirky and fun! It's small, but cozy, and this adds to its charm. My boyfriend and I went here for some after dinner drinks, and the margaritas were very tasty. We also were greedy and got an order of crab nachos to share, and they were super fresh, tasty, and layered properly! It always sucks when you order nachos and all the toppings are on top, and then you're left with a pile of dry chips. This was not the case at Gina's! We wished we could have eaten more of them, but we were more full from dinner than we thought. The two bartenders were friendly and personable. We felt like we were back at our favorite Baltimore bar, Fraziers :). Next time we go back to St. Michaels, we will make a point to come back to Gina's and eat dinner there! read more

Unique dining experience ranging from tuna tacos to a quesadilla with peanut butter and jelly. Killer cool decor inside and eclectic hippy style outdoor dining makes great, small kitchen meal experience. Locals keep returning to Gina's because the food is always welcoming. Very eclectic selection of soft tacos and other Mexican-themed dishes. The food is not really Mexican or Tex-Mex, but uses a Mex-inspired framework to create new tastes. Fresh fish tacos and other fish choices seem to be the strong suit. These were better than the regular "beef" tacos. Chips and salsa were disppointing. The chips were homemade and fresh, but the salsa was so-so, thin and watery (and not very much of it). The atmosphere is cozy and quaint. Clearly going for the feel of a beachside dive in Monterrey or Cozumel, and they almost get there. The cheesecake burrito was fantastic. The waitress was competent and very pleasant and cheerful. Quite possible the best margarita I've EVER had. SOOOOO YUMMY! I got the crab taco...it wasn't impressive and was kinda small for being kinda pricey. Not a huge selection for the gluten free community for being a 'mexican' restaurant...so that was kind of surprising. I'd go back though...just for the MARGARITA! read more

Lighthouse tacos and the special burrito! Both very good and light. This is the first burrito with no rice and I appreciated it. Cucumber margarita was refreshing as well. The food here was excellent and the location is close to the distillery and winery, so it's a perfect place to put some food in your stomach after lots of alcohol. It is definitely pretty pricey for what you get however. $16 for two tacos and then $19 for a quesadilla is a bit much, I think. Also, if you're in a rush or want a quick lunch, this place will not be for you. Nonetheless, the food was great and I would recommend it if the price doesn't bother you. read more

We were next door at the St. Michael's Brewing Company; the bartender, Jay, recommended Gina's. We went over to Gina's and ordered soups, the Burrito of the Day and a Shrimp Taco. We could see the cook working diligently to prepare each dish for the patrons; the place had one table empty when we were there, so the cook was very busy. Other than a longer than expected wait for our food, not overly long, though, we got our food and it was excellent. We were on vacation, so the wait was very tolerable, and the food was definitely worth the wait...we highly recommend Gina's in Saint Michael's. read more

Tried to order carryout at 8:15 pm on a Saturday night. The first time i called, the phone rang maybe 15 rings before i got cut off. The second time i called, perhaps 10 minutes later, the phone rang maybe 10 rings and then a recording came on asking for a password and in lieu thereof, asking for me to dial the number again. The margaritas were by far the BEST we have ever had...EVER! we noshed on the nachos sans crab which were out of this world. Mandarin oranges??!! I mean to...die...for.The chili on top was uhmaze as was the lime cilantro creme'. the bean dip.... Went to Gina's after having gone to first a wine tasting and then a beer tasting at the establishments next door, and decided we needed some food ASAP. Stopped in here and so glad we did! The watermelon margarita is delicious, get one!Also ordered the guacamole which was really tasty and loved the homemade chips. The quesadillas are awesome! I got a mushroom one bc I wanted something lighter. It was so good! Fresh ingredients--it had bay leaves in it! My husband HATES mushrooms, as in- picks them out of his food when they're on his plate. He ate the mushroom quesadilla and LOVED it and actually raved about how delicious it was!
