So according to that Daniel guy, George Cloonie goes here or something. That guy is Ocean I mean come on idk if it gets cooler than that. He also said something about 10 legged spiders. I don't like spiders at all but I know a good flipping haircut when I see one. I wonder if Gina will ever cut another man's haircut as beautifully as she cut Daniels. Sheesh what a lucky guy. Anyway get your hair cut here if you're a guy and wanna be like Daniel. Also if your a woman get your hair cut here and 6 packed men will rain from the heavens. You're welcome. read more

I went to Gina for the first time last week on Burlingame ave. I naturally have dark, dirty blonde hair. I kept going back and forth between different colors/ how light I wanted my blonde to be. As soon as I walked into the salon, I was greeted by Gina and another stylist that worked there. I was offered something to drink while she cleaned up from her previous appointment and was soon asked to follow her to her station. She was very polite, professional, SUPER fun and easy to talk to and very informative. Prior to my appointment with Gina, I did not realize the process to becoming really blonde.. and I absolutely had no idea how long these appointments take. After asking her a 1,001 questions, she asked me what my hair color goal was.... Me: deer in the headlights. Instead of trying to explain it, I pulled up the pics of her/ her hair as a reference pic. I felt kind of embarrassed...like she would think I was a total weirdo but instead of looking shocked or freaked out she smiled with a little laugh and jokingly said well someone needs this formula since I can't wear it! (She's not "that" blond any more". We agreed that a combo of a full highlight + full balayage would get me the blondest the fastest. And she was right! Gina thank you so much for being so diligent and patient. Idk how you do it, but you really do create masterpieces out of cardboard. I love my hair ! Thank you Gina for everything. I will definitely be back sooner than later!!! read more

Gina has been cutting my hair and my husband's hair for years. She is always my top referral for anyone looking for a hair stylist or colorist. When my mother in law is in town, we send her to Gina! When she styled hair for our bridal party during our chaotic pandemic wedding, everyone looked amazing AND she had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. She made the day that much better and I'm so thankful she made the trip for us. She even worked on my husband's hair to make sure it was perfect. Lastly, I experienced pretty significant postpartum hair loss and when it started to grow back recently, my hair was very difficult to manage and style. One session with Gina and whatever she did, it flows beautifully and I'm so happy with it - I feel like myself again! Gina is extremely talented and a joy to be around. I can't recommend her enough. read more

Gina is the BEST! I moved to Burlingame just over a year ago and needed a new hairstylist and am so lucky to have found Gina. Even though I've gone between getting blonde highlights and balayage for over 10 years I always seek advice from whoever is doing my hair on what they suggest - Gina always gives great recommendations and does an incredible job executing them so that I walk out lovinggg my color. The last time I went home to San Diego I went to get a blowout and at least 3 people at the salon asked who had done my color and admired how natural it looked! I know Gina is never trying to up-sell me just for the sake of it and gives multiple options on what would work best for you based on time/budget etc. and she prioritizes creating the best finished product possible. I highly recommend her, thanks Gina for keeping my blonde natural-looking and beautiful! read more

Found Gina after my other hairstylist moved out of the area and I lucked out!!! It was anxiety inducing for me to find another gifted stylist and I figured it would take a few swings and misses to find someone.... Gina was the first I called and she nailed it. She listened to what I wanted and totally delivered. She has true talent, from engaging with her client, to product recommendations, and the HAIR! Oh the hair! I can wear my hair straight and curly without it looking like I'm a news reporter, a feat few have been able to accomplish!! And my color (which is a 4 1/2 hour process) is soooo good. She's the best, call her you won't regret it! read more

Gina does a great job with my hair. I first went to see her after my previous hairdresser moved out of the area. I was nervous about trying someone new. Gina took a lot of time looking at my previous cut and listened to what I wanted. I have a lot of hair and have layers that need texturing. She did a fantastic job with my haircut. She does my color now too, and my husband always comments on how great it looks. read more

I moved to the Peninsula almost 10 years ago and I wish I would have found Gina sooner! It took me a few years and many stylists to find Gina. She is the best! Gina has been cutting and coloring my hair for several years now and I would recommend her to anyone every day of the week. The mark of a good haircut or color in my opinion (I usually get balayage) is that it not only looks awesome right away but it still looks great as it grows out. You will get this with Gina. My husband (in addition to my sister) also gets his haircut by Gina and the difference in the quality of cut is very noticeable. He was hesitant to go to a salon at first but it's worth it (even he admits it). What I also like is that Gina will listen to what you want (and actually do it not just get close) as well as provide honest, valuable input. Whether it be that I want to go pink, and spending all that money will only net me 3 weeks of pink hair at best, or providing insight as to what cut or color will actually look good on me (I get bored with the same thing). Right now I have a tousled assymterical bob and I love it. She does it perfectly and I've never gotten more compliments on a haircut in my life (thanks to Gina). So if you are looking for a GREAT stylist or just want to make a change you won't be sorry you scheduled your first appointment with Gina. Go for it! read more

I am so thankful I found Gina! I have been going to Gina for a little over two years now, and I do not let anyone else touch my hair. She understands exactly what I like, so it is nice to be able to just sit in the chair and let her do her magic. I am always happy with the results. When I first came to Gina my hair was very damaged. She turned my hair around and now I have hair I am proud of. She is always sharing tips and products with me that my hair loves! Highly recommend her! read more

Gina Rollandi is the real deal when it comes to making those snips without any trips to your gorgeous mane. If you are trying to reform a head of hair that makes a triangle shape and is frizzy, wavy, curly-- see Gina. Ask her if texturizing your hair is something she would do. She chose that method for me so that my waves and curls flow, and "fit together like a puzzle," as Gina explained. Your hair will have volume and body. It will look more balanced. It will actually dry easier whether you air dry or use a hairdryer. I used a diffuser and ran out of house today to teach Pilates and finally let my hair down and it still looks put together like I put product in it (no product used!). Cannot wait to doll it up with a little dollop of dippity-do' or whatnot for going out! Gina is now located in San Carlos at Justina's Salon, it was so easy getting there and is almost, I say almost, on the corner. Located at 1199B Laurel Street, Gina is there for you and ready to save the day with her scissor superpowers! read more

Gina has been cutting my hair for about a year now. She is clearly very talented and always does a great job! I'm not good at describing how I like my hair to be cut, so I appreciate that she can take the lead and make recommendations. She is very knowledgeable about different types of hair (I have very fine hair and my dream hair is the exact opposite), gives honest input, and is always able to help me achieve what I am looking for. On top of everything, she is just a very sweet person and I always look forward to our appointments. I'd definitely recommend her services. read more

Gina is amazazazing! I came to her after my previous hairstylist left my hair looking too yellow and very unblended. I was so disappointed and desperate to get it fixed. Despite my indecisiveness and inability to verbalize exactly what I wanted, Gina was able to help me figure out what I wanted, all by analyzing the pictures I brought in, asking me questions, and making recommendations. After the consultation, I felt a sense of renewed hope and I wasn't wrong! Gina was very thorough and meticulous while correcting my hair. I felt reassured knowing she was taking her time to ensure everything turned out right. She's very knowledgeable and is super super nice and welcoming. I now love my hair!! Ever since Gina corrected my hair, I've felt more confident. It looks so well-blended and the color is exactly what I wanted. I've been complimented on my hair by everyone I know - a true testament to her talent! Definitely take the time to meet with Gina and consider making your next appointment with her, you won't regret it. :) read more

I have been going to Gina for the past 3.5 years and hope there are many more years to come. I have loved all the time spent with her and her advice for my hair. I usually don't have a strong opinion about what I want and always feel confident in letting her steer the way. I've never been disappointed :) She's super friendly, confident in her knowledge, and goes above and beyond to take care of your needs, making sure you always leave satisfied. And I do!
