Dollar General -- A Surprisingly Polished Outpost…read more Against all expectations, this Dollar General sets a new internal benchmark for the brand. The store is immaculately clean, thoughtfully organized, and--most impressively--fully stocked from wall to wall. Freezers hum with abundance, beverage cases are packed to capacity, and shelves feel replenished rather than picked over. What stands out most is reliability: everything you might reasonably want from a Dollar General is not only present but easy to find. It's a rare retail experience where convenience doesn't come with compromise. In a category where inconsistency is often the norm, this location delivers efficiency, order, and a sense of care that elevates it well above its peers.

Boy was I surprised at the selection and variety of groceries available. The meat department offers fresh meat daily and you can even get meat cut to order as you wait. The produce is fresh and at better prices than the bigger stores. Since my first visit I have been shopping here for several reasons; the convenience of location to my home, fresh meat and produce, the reasonable prices on all items in store and the friendly down home feel of the store.

The only thing that was not great was the green beans which were italian style--way over cooked. Other than that, the turkey was so flavorful and not dried out at all. I recently spent two weeks near Tellico Village due to a family situation and frequented this…read moregrocery store several times. Unfortunately, I was consistently disappointed by the poor interpersonal skills of many of the cashiers at checkout. On multiple occasions, I was not greeted at all and felt treated as if I were invisible. One cashier handed me my receipt with a dismissive, "And there you go," without offering a thank you or a smile. While I did encounter two cashiers who were genuinely kind and friendly, the overall pattern was disappointing. I would suggest management re-train front-facing staff on how to greet customers and express professional warmth. Social awkwardness and backwardness can easily be misread by customers as cold, distant behavior.

HIRE THIS COMPANY!!…read more  I used Yelp to get a bid on a local moving job for the Knoxville area. We wanted it done ASAP. It went out to about five moving companies (this was on Saturday)  Within 10 minutes Ky from Bellhop at the Chattanooga office called me. Bellhop was the first to respond. Ky was so nice and extremely courteous. He helped us figure out what we needed. The price he quoted was a good fair price. Because of Ky we immediately felt confident and agreed to hire Bellhop. We received a confirmation for the job on the same day. Next day (Sunday) we got a notification with the pictures of our movers who were Alec and Austin. Alec also texted us to confirm the time etc. Alec and Austin arrived on Monday at our storage unit ON TIME and ready to work. They loaded the truck and we drove to our apartment. Let me tell you Alec and Austin were incredible. They worked their butts off NON STOP. We are on the third floor with TWO SETS OF STAIRS. They brought everything up with a smile and always asked us where we wanted things placed. We saw Alec carrying two very heavy large boxes at a time (like they were empty!) Me and my husband were shocked and impressed with the strength and stamina Alec and Austin had. And they did it in such an upbeat courteous friendly manner. They were fast too.  Nothing was damaged either no walls touched, no floors scratched. PERFECT! They were able to get heavy items up the stairs we thought we were going to have to leave behind and they were so nice about doing it! They made an incredibly stressful move stressless for us!  We are 100% happy with Bellhop and will definitely use them again. Ask for the team Alec and Austin. You won't be disappointed!
