We went to buy a truck for my husband. They had the one he wanted for a good price, but then they make you buy the clear coat protector and GPS tracking. They tell you the owner requires all cars to have this. I dont know how he gets away with this. I should have paid more attention but we really wanted the truck. Ive been trying to get the second key fob and manual, but no response. Should have read the reviews and gone somewhere else. Let's start with I had a good enough buying process that I thought I would buy another car here. After I purchased the car I've had nothing but problems with the service department. The staff turnover in the service department is astounding. I go in about every 6 months for service and in 2 years I don't think I've seen any staff member twice. I think this is a major part of the lack of customer service and consistency. The service department broke my lug nut when rotating my tires and couldn't get the part for a few days and they didn't provide me with a loaner. They broke it! And I had to fight with them for 3 days until they gave me a loaner car. Completely unacceptable! Do not purchase the auto butler. I purchased the auto butler because my car interior is white/ cream. I was sold that my interior will always look new because I purchased auto butler. Here's the problem almost every time I bring it in they "forget, are unaware, and use the excuse it's not in the computer" and don't do the inside. Am I the only one stupid enough to have purchased the interior? It baffles my mind. I can't be the only one? Loaner cars....I purchased a brand new 2017 Yukon xl Denali. In my opinion a luxury car. Wouldn't you get luxury service with a luxury car? I would expect a loaner car any time I have service for a luxury car. Not here! Even though They promote all over their website, coupons, and GMC app that you can get a loaner car when you have service. They do not have loaner cars! This is not a place to purchase a luxury car. I even think to sell me a another car wouldn't you provide me with the newest state of the art loaner? It's like free advertising if I drive around in a beautiful new car. I might even want to purchase said car if I love it. Nope, nada, nothing. Don't ask! Unless you fight with them for 3 days after they break your car. Even then they gave me a small compact car. Don't schedule service online. They won't have it in the "computer" some how it gets lost in the internet every time. I'm not sure how the gmc app isn't connected to their computers. Aren't they a GMC service department? I can go on and on about other problems I've had in 2 years of service at this dealership. My advice (that I will take next time I buy a car) buy only used cars here that you wouldn't need to bring them to the service department. If you buy something here use the service department at another dealership. Stay far far away from this service department. Update: the owner has contacted me and says my problems will be fixed. I will update the review as things get fixed. My auto butler has turned out wonderfully today. read more

RUN from this dealer and go buy anywhere else. I bought a brand new 60k plus car from them only to find they touched it up all over. They were unwilling to do anything about it and would take days or weeks to return my call. Once I got to a manager that promised he would handle it, I text after not hearing from him for another two wee only to be told " i don't work there anymore" " its not a good place to work for" Next manager says how sorry he is and tells me a day to bring it in. I cart my 8 kids to dealer and service department had no idea I was coming. I go ahead and leave my car to have paint fixed since I have driven 90 min to get there and stay in area all day to have it and the seatbelt fixed that wasn't working. End of day they inform me they can't fix the paint and have to order seatbelt. 3-5 days for seatbelt they say and not willing to fix paint bottom line. Offered some accessories to "fix it". 10 days lat still no seatbelt, no call, no nothing. Ended up contacting corporate, filing complaint and have since moved to another dealer who took ONE day to get me new seatbelt and are fixing paint soon. After doing research on various trucks, we had decided to buy a Ford F150. A friend, who is a long time Ford owner recommended we look at GMC trucks and we spontaneously stopped at this dealership. We were enthusiastically greeted by Omar, who inquired about our visit and offered a test drive and explained some of the features. After the test drive we informed him we needed time to think about it and do a true value through USAA. He took our information and followed up as agreed. Long story short, Omar was able to find the configuration we were looking for, the dealership honored the true value price and they were reasonable with our trade-in. If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. I had an appointment to check out a used car, showed up on time and had to wait over 40 minutes for a sales person to come help me out keep in mind no one was even in the dealership it was like a ghost town in there. Finally sat down to run numbers and potentially buy the vehicle they ran my credit and came back with a paper that had non negotiable add ons like paint correction and security system and some other stuff that added up to almost $4,000. they were very rude and definitely did not want to make a sale. Be aware they do not disclose these add ons until you sit down with them and if you say anything about it they will talk down on you. As we were leaving not one person shook ours hands or said anything they just stare at you while you walk out of the dealership. Ended up going to Capitol expressway ford dealership and found the same car with ALOT LESS MILES and fully loaded with no secrete add ons and about $2,000 cheaper. Josh is an amazing communicator and clearly cares about his customers. His attention to detail and balancing his incoming work was impressive to watch. Frankly, my experience with Gilroy Buick GMC was far from perfect. A service that normally would have taken a day, maybe two at most, turned into four. I think the team may be understaffed, because that's pretty insane to me. When waiting to speak with the Service Director about my problems, apparently they had been tasked to run an errand, leaving me with no options to voice my concerns. I wasn't thrilled with that as I see that as a bit of a customer etiquette faux pas. Josh helped make it right - I'll leave it there. This is a great place to do business! They have repaired my 2017 Buick LaCrosse two times now under warranty and were extremely courteous in providing quick service working around my schedule. We had a suspension problem with a failed electric shock absorber (very expensive!) which cost me nothing. My parents purchased a vehicle here 6 months ago, out of those six months, the battery dies on my mom FOUR TIMES AND COUNTING. We go to the dealership and they practically tell us that's not their problem because the car is theirs and they didn't report the issue soon enough. The salesman eventually tells us he'll call us later that day to update us on what they can do, NEVER CALLS. We try calling a second time, same thing, "he'll call us back," NEVER CALLS THE SECOND DAY EITHER. Keep in mind my mother has broken English and my father can speak it fluently but had an accent, tell me why when my sister calls, who speaks English perfectly, they suddenly and immediately set up an appointment with no issue and say that the battery and tire sensors will be covered, no issue! Only for us to show up to the service appointment this morning and be told that the salesman who was 'helping' us, isn't there and the dealership said they're not covering anything!! This dealership is a huge mess of a joke. Please give your service to a dealership that actually cares to sell trustworthy vehicles and care about their clients. Unless you want greedy, horrid, discriminatory service, PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE. *Please don't associate their auto service team with the dealership team though, because they were incredibly kind and helped us look for more reliable and affordable options after the news the dealer gave that they weren't covering anything.
