Are your kids coming for spring visits? We finally found an affordable way for our crew to get…read moretheir start riding ATV's in the desert. CALL: 760-533-9389 cell, 760-767-9829 shop ***Tony Motta at Muy Rapido, Ocotillo Wells has at least 3 sizes of quad ATV's, to fit kids 8 years and older. The simplest ones you just turn the grips and go. the next has a couple of automatic gears and the next up you can shift the gears. Tony includes the helmets and will give your kid a lesson to learn what the quad can do. The 1/2 day or full day price is fair and reasonable, as is the security deposit. He also has 2 wheel mini-bikes. Located at the corner of Hwy 78 and Split Mountain Road in Ocotillo Wells, you can see the sandy mountain riding area from Tony's business, and the quads get there by riding alongside the airport landing strip and into the off-road vehicle site, which is marked. There is also a trail all the way around the airport. Parents can drive their jeeps in on "main street" off of Hwy 78 and sit and watch their kids have fun in the sand and sun. *** The shop description: The business specializes in off-road parts and repairs. These guys really made my (aweful) day (fantastic)…read more Allow me to 'splain; dragged my ski out from San Diego and put it in the water. Within 10 minutes, it was getting choked out (exhaust leak in the engine compartment). Danggit! Pulled it out and hauled it into Liberty about 10 minutes before closing. They began looking at it first thing in the morning. My buddy and I sat in Cesar's Cigar Lounge just down the street (life saver!) to await the diagnosis. I was really pressing them to get my ski back asap because I only had a couple days for my trip and didn't care to spend it riding on the back of my buddies ski... They got it to me by about 2:00 and we hit the river. Oh,oh. It lasted about 10 minutes. Not very happy at this point, as you can imagine. However, this isn't what got them the 5 star rating. It's what they did next... So, hauled it back and dropped it at the front door first thing the next morning. The reason I dropped it is because I then had to have my truck towed as it crapped out in their parking lot (yeah, really fun trip, huh?). So, I told the guys this and they got to work. Turns out that there was sand in the box of the ski, causing it to overheat and melt the exhaust hoses. They hadn't properly diagnosed what the problem was the day before, but remember, it was because I was pressuring them to get me out on the river. They worked on it for about 6 more hours, to make sure that everything was running properly. It was/is. When I asked them for the bill, they gave it to me at no charge. To be fair, yes, they should have diagnosed it properly the first time (as some of you are invariably saying at home right now), but you really have to understand that I was pestering them literally every hour to get it back to me (note to self about that...). I really think they were trying to be accommodating on that front, and they stuck it in the tank and ran it, but it didn't exhibit any further problems, so they figured the issue was resolved. I fully expected to pay them for the time they spent on it the second day, and was very appreciative that they didn't charge me anything. Very stand-up. Oh, and it turned out to be something very minor with the truck as well, so it wasn't a complete waste of a trip, but it was essentially two days without river time.

Dropped off my bike and it was easy and smooth sailing from there. The staff were very helpful…read moreAnd attentive to what I needed for my bike.
