10/10. changed two motorcycle tires in under 1hr. Fair pricing, will definitely keep returning as a customer.

This is a great shop with soo much inventory of vehicles inside. It is located next to my favorite hardware store that i visit all the time. I have always been curious about what this shop was all about so i decided to pop in one day. Joe greeted me upon my entry and i found hom to be very knowlegable and friendly. This place really needs to be twice its size because there is so much inventory crammed into a small space. But dont let thay stop you. He has a great variety of bikes and in so many colors..Although i was not in the market to buy a bike, i learned so much about them that i didnt know before, and Joe was very cordial and took his time to answer all my questions. I know that if i ever decide to get a bike, i would defintley buy one here. read more

My Vespa battery died and I had to push it about a mile to Joe's place. I think his name is Joe on a Saturday. I knew without an appointment he probably couldn't get to it, but he accommodated me and had it repaired for me by Monday afternoon. Installing a battery was a bit expensive but it had to be done. My friend takes his bike there and it's all good. They've got some great looking motorcycles on the showroom floor. We've got to keep these small independents in business. read more

This is an awesome shop. Picked up two bikes last weekend and they're A+. I worked mainly with Justin and he's really straight forward and an awesome person to work with. Very happy with our purchases. I will be honest, I was slightly hesitant coming all the way from SFV, but right away Joe made my husband and I feel really comfortable. If you need bikes, parts..etc. check out this place. I loooove our new bikes. read more

Motorcycle Stuff - His (Honda CRF450r) and Hers (Suzuki DR-Z250) - Motorcycle Repair Near Me - Palm Desert, California

Went in there to look and buy a moped. I was primarily looking for a Honda Ruckus or something similar. Joe told me he didn't have any Honda Ruckus in stock but he showed me a Honda moped. It was really old a 1989. After I told him no he seemed like he got upset and then he kept referencing a pink moped or the one with flowers on it. It seemed like he wasn't taking me seriously. I am a man I wouldn't be interested in a pink moped or one with flowers on it and I told him so. Even after I told him he referenced the same mopeds a second time. I asked him about the moped he had near the windows since that was another reason I came into the shop in the first place. In the front he has two mopeds. He has a Black Yamaha and a black Vespa. He told me that both of those weren't running they were just display only. All the mopeds he had were very old and had a whole bunch of miles on it. I've heard great things about his service and repair another reason why I came into his shop and I read a lot of good reviews about that. Maybe this is a shop that's only good for just that: service and repair. Not to try to buy a moped new or used. read more

Moto Joe's Motorcycle Stuff is an awesome independent shop in Palm Desert. Worked with the man himself on the purchase of a nice Honda dirt bike for my daughter. Super good guy. Fair and knowledgeable. Big shop expertise in a hometown style shop. Lots of good bikes here and many mechanics. I drove from L A. to see him and I'd definitely do it again! This was a great experience. Good luck, Joe! read more

I flew into a tree but that was my bad. Overall the bike is still working. Lovinnn. Itttt!!!

Great, honest shop. Joe is a straight shooter and doesn't over charge. He got my Vespa back up and running for half of what the other local shops quoted me and taught me how to store it in the future so it doesn't need to go into the shop after it sits all summer. Thank you Joe! Couldn't be happier! read more

I can't believe that I hadn't reviewed this shop yet! I've been bringing my bikes here since the day they opened for all sorts of accessories, service, etc. Every time they have exceeded my expectations and delivered great service at a very fair price. Whether I've needed tires, oil changes, body work replaced or riding gear, Joe has treated me great. Honestly, for a guy like me who owns multiple bikes but isn't very good mechanically (understatement!)....I don't think I could enjoy motorcycling half as much without this shop close by. Give them a try and you'll come back time and time again! read more

i only ask for changing my tires and balance the tires as well. when i pick up my bike, i got charge for chain service which i didn't ask for. and top of that, the bill didn't have a break down charge for each serivce. this is a total rip off. i will never go back to this shop! read more

This place is awesome. I like to support the local small shops. I recent moved back to the Coachella Valley and needed service on my Honda Grom. I needed my chain replaced and an oil change. I googled a shop and this place popped up. I found it on Facebook and messaged the owner about the work I needed done. He got back to me in a timely manner with a quote for the work. I showed up a few days later and he got the work started right away. I showed up when the shop opened. It was quick and easy. Good conversation too while I waited. They also have a decent selection of accessories. The pricing is great also. Highly recommend for any motorcycle needs. read more

Joe is super nice. He let me drop off my bike for a service job before the shop was even open. The convenient drop box for keys is perfect. He also offered to come pick me up at work and give me a ride back of need be. I'm thankful to have an honest, customer service oriented individual take care of my 2015 Yamaha. read more

I've only been riding two years. I bought my first bike off Craigslist with no mechanical or motorcycle experience. I brought my bike to joe and said. "What's wrong with it? fix it. " After taking the bike for the night he told me everything it could use. But told me it didn't need anything. Handed me my key and said come back for an oil change. I'll never go anywhere else. Joe has given me a lot of riding advice and Alex has put my bike back together more times then I'd like to admit. Thank you for being honest, available and awesome!! read more

Will use Motorcycle Stuff when in the desert. Nice to know there is a place to go because the closest yamaha dealer is in Banning/Beaumont. And closest Vespa dealer is in Riverside. read more

Also known as Moto Joe's. I was in the area for Babes Ride Out and decided I didn't want to risk riding home on a bald rear tire back to SF. I called Joe and he was one of the few in the immediate area who had a sport bike tire in stock. He was really nice on the phone and even more so in person. The whole team was great. I came by around 3pm on Saturday and was back on my way by 4pm. The Mechanic did a great job, cleaned my rim. I got my chain clean and lubed. They had a nice selection of apparel with helmets and boots. It was great to see someone running a shop who truly enjoys the sport and his customers. I was told on his days off he takes kids and customers riding. That is dedication. Support your local shop and stop by Moto Joe's. read more

These fine folks at Motorcycle Stuff have helped me twice now, and they gave me outstanding service and attitude on both occasions. Additionally, their pricing is fair, mechanics are excellent, and they come across with a true desire to help, without adding confusion, excuses, and hype. This business truly is a gem in the desert, and I'm giving them my highest recommendation. read more

Had a wonderful experience here. Spoke to Joe about a client's Vespa that refused to start. He was kind enough to come and retrieve it, went over it with a fine tooth comb, and returned it in pristine condition. He also rushed the job to ensure it would be delivered before my client arrived back in the desert. Wonderful service, great experience, very reasonably priced. Would be thrilled to do business with again. Happy to pass his card on to other motorcycle enthusiasts. read more

A business owner shows his true colors when things go off the rails. That being the case, Moto Joe shines brightly. Had an appointment the other day and dropped my bike off for service , but apparently an emergency came up on Joe's end and he couldn't get to the job within my schedule. Not only did he call to apologize and reschedule, he more than restored my faith both in his shop's ability to do the job right but in his integrity, as well. Wouldn't hesitate do business with Moto Joe again. read more

Nice and knowledgeable people. Trust their service and prices are fair. I have been there several times now. Only complaint is they always say they will call me in "a few days" when the part comes in. Weeks go by without a peep. I feel like I am having to work hard to give them my money and business. A bit unorganized but otherwise would recommend to a friend. read more
