We thought for sure it would be a place we would like to be. The entrance is gated so we had to call the office to enter. We went to the office where they gave us a pass for our car. We saw the large pool, the nice exercise room, laundry and clubhouse. There were kids in the pool splashing and playing. There is Sunbeam Lake that goes past the office and some of the sites. The lake seems more than a pond as it isn't far across but it is long and runs to the road-where it is public. They say jet skis and boats are allowed-but no swimming. There are no lake sites or lagoon sites for RVs or park models unless someone sells theirs. We drove to see the various sites. The sites are gravel though not many trees. The park just seems to be missing that personal & friendly touch. Quiet is important to us after working & living out of a suitcase for the last year-so being at an adults-only park where it's quiet is very important to us. Sunbeam Lake may be nice but it didn't connect with us.

We called AAA back while he was chaining up our car and he refused to speak to the AAA representative. He also would not give us our keys. Finally, the AAA representative called the County Sheriff and this individual's supervisor and finally he unhooked our car. We ended up calling a non-AAA tow just because the experience was as bad as it was. The individual had told us things such as "you don't have any insurance" even when we waved our GEICO insurance card in front of us and was telling us that the damage on the vehicle would cost more to fix than the vehicle was worth (without actually looking at the car). I suspect they were trying to collect our car in hopes that we couldn't afford to break it out of car jail so that they could salvage it. I hope I'm wrong, but it was a horrible experience.

I was temporarily able to fill it with water and make it to the bottom of the grade and called when I got service. Joel is the owner and he was very attentive and helpful. He was right off of the freeway exit and it was easy to get the semi in and the surrounding streets had plenty of room to drive. He found the problem right away. He was very honest and friendly and in total it cost 150.00 for labor and he was kind enough to take me to the hotel down the street where there is plenty of food. There is a freightliner down the street from him so they can get the parts same day unless they don't have them. The next closest freightliner is in Fontana or Miramar, California which are both 3 hours away. I would do business with him again!!

They are counting on people not asking for the deposit or hoping they don't cash the check. We moved that they have a bar/restaurant on site but can't get past this crooked check scam. Also the bartender, Danielle has a filthy, filthy mouth, dropping the F bomb about 20 times per night and even other bad language. Not professional at all. Food and drink specials are good, I hate to say. But I have to call out the good stuff too.

A Gonzalez mechanic took me to Auto Zone. I bought my own fuel pump, and they installed it, and a new fuel fuel filter. I did not pay some BS parts mark up with BS fees etc...They safely took out my FULL tank of gas, and swapped the internal pump assembly. They made sure my wife was out of the heat, and in an air conditioned office. I called 2 other shops at 430 pm. One blew me off saying they were about to close, another said they were closing early because of the heat (117 in the shade) and to have my jeep towed to the shop, and he'll look at it in the morning. (J&M Auto) Frustrated and sweating, I called Gonzalez, I told them my problem. "don't worry my friend, you will drive home, and sleep in your own bed tonight." Far from home, it was good to hear. It was even better that I did drive home and sleep in my own bed that night.

It honestly felt like I was being taken advantage of. Situations like this are already stressful, and instead of helping, this company made it even more frustrating.
