After doing…read moresome research on Google we chose Desert Trails RV Park in El Centro and liked it so much we stayed an extra night! It is conveniently located next to Interstate 8, but road noise was never an issue here, nice and quiet. The park is centered around a 9-hole golf course and is home to mostly permanent residents, but there are plenty of nice, full hookup RV sites available for $45 per night, as well as water/electric only sites. It is pretty, very well maintained, and all of the personnel were nice. We would definitely stay here again!

We don't go back to our home state for months. AND they never sent the check. I had to call a few times and ask where it was. Eventually after 7 weeks, I did receive it. What a scam! They are counting on people not asking for the deposit or hoping they don't cash the check. We moved that they have a bar/restaurant on site but can't get past this crooked check scam. Also the bartender, Danielle has a filthy, filthy mouth, dropping the F bomb about 20 times per night and even other bad language. Not professional at all. Food and drink specials are good, I hate to say. But I have to call out the good stuff too.

A Gonzalez mechanic took me to Auto Zone. I bought my own fuel pump, and they installed it, and a new fuel fuel filter. I did not pay some BS parts mark up with BS fees etc...They safely took out my FULL tank of gas, and swapped the internal pump assembly. They made sure my wife was out of the heat, and in an air conditioned office. I called 2 other shops at 430 pm. One blew me off saying they were about to close, another said they were closing early because of the heat (117 in the shade) and to have my jeep towed to the shop, and he'll look at it in the morning. (J&M Auto) Frustrated and sweating, I called Gonzalez, I told them my problem. "don't worry my friend, you will drive home, and sleep in your own bed tonight." Far from home, it was good to hear. It was even better that I did drive home and sleep in my own bed that night.

These rooms also have a mini fridge, microwave and direct tv on a flat screen television. On this particular stay I was working at night, so sleeping during the day was peaceful and quiet as well. I stayed 7 consecutive days with no issues, just quality rest and refreshing hot showers. I can't go without mentioning Janet the housekeeper, she was very thoughtful and friendly, making sure to catch me before or after going to work for fresh towels or housekeeping if needed. Let's keep it real, we get what we pay for. The price for my 7 day stay was very fair and I will continue to stay here in the future if we continue to work in this area. Jorge Cisneros is a sincere and competent man. Before taking on a job, he took the time to listen…read moreto my situation and to decide whether he help or not. In my experience, his attentiveness and honesty were well displayed by the fact that he took on a job and did it on time for an extremely fair price. Cleaning out an exhaust gas recirculation system is something a lot of garages simply don't want to do, and will become dishonest when facing a request to do so. I have experienced this with some businesses for whom I have left appropriate reviews detailing as much. One business even immediately tried to convince me that an engine replacement was obviously necessary. 2 days ago, a 304 code was showing that my fourth cylinder was misfiring for some reason. Mr cisneros took the time to comply with my request to examine my EGR system and confirmed that the first three intake manifold ports were blocked significantly, routing an overflow of air to the fourth cylinder and causing that misfire. A combination of free code readings and YouTube videos and a replacement of spark plugs not solving the issue made this EGR clean out a very likely solution to my problem. Indeed, I have gone from about 35 miles per gallon and a knocking engine at low accelerating RPMs yesterday to over 50 miles per gallon and an engine that purrs ever so gently if audible at all today. I was pretty sure of the problem and the solution, but Mr cisneros is the person who made it possible. I can't recommend his services enough, and I hope that other people have a chance to enjoy the same experience that I did! My dented Prius has 200,000 miles on the odometer, but thanks to Mr Cisneros, it's still a young car.
