Super bad experience there communication was horrible super rude very bad organized. Never coming back to this place

When my husband and I broke down, we were hauling our fifth wheel and needed a tow and a new clutch in our truck. We were in a huge bind and thankfully happened upon Calexico Auto Dismantlers. We could not be happier with Pablo and his company. He was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, patient personable and just all around great guy. Pricing was upfront, transparent and extremely fair. If there was an example of how a business should be run, this is it. Pablo even called after our repair and our long drive back to San Diego to make sure we were happy with the repair and made it home safely. We truly wish we could give Calexico Auto Dismantlers more than five stars. What an great business with superior customer service. I ordered a hood for a 96 Honda Accord back in 2016 and let me tell you, they tried to pull a fast one on me. They told me the hood was coming from Mexicali and that it would be here the next day and to come back tomorrow. So the next day is here and I go back from Brawley to Calexico. I get there and they start taking the hood off my vehicle while i'm inside the waiting room. Come to find out the guy at the front desk tells me that the hood is the wrong one and they have to find a new one and it'll be here the next day AGAIN! At that point I didn't want to drive to Calexico again another day so I politely asked for a refund with the receipt that clearly states on the back "All items to be returned in the original form they were in no later than 15 days of purchase date" or something along the lines of that. They didn't want to refund me. I was going back and forward with the receptionist and he kept saying that he already paid the junkyard in Mexicali so I said okay, put my car back together and I'm going to go make a big deal of it on social media since you're trying to scam me and you're not paying my gas to come back a 3rd time. I went on Facebook and posted what situation in full detail in what had happened and the owner/manager by the name of Pablo messaged me saying "Take this down! You didn't ask anybody for a refund & if you did it wasn't me so don't go bashing my business because I went to law school and I can take you to court and we can make this a legal matter". At that point I laughed at his joke. He got so butthurt that I left a negative review in regards to his business. I would like to see him take me to court now. I did end up going back all because they decided to act like little b*tches and not give me my $480 back for a USED CAR HOOD. read more
