There is an outside patio, and a large open interior space - definitely a bit of a biergarden feel to it. You go to the bar to order your food and drinks, and tell the server where you are sitting. They then bring the food out to you. Let's talk about the food! More specifically, let's talk about the poutine! I'm not Canadian, but I have had poutine before - and theirs might be the best I have ever had. The gravy was amazing, you could tell they add beer when they are making it. I also tried their regular cheeseburger - cooked perfectly, juicy, and delicious. If I hadn't had the poutine, I'd give it high marks for the burger alone. Don't sleep on this place, it's great. Now, I don't consume alcohol, so I can't comment on the quality of their beer - but my work colleague said it was very good. I did try their vanilla soda - and it was really good. High marks all around!

Started with the crispy fried rice balls (I'm a sucker for crispy rice and these did not disappoint) and the house cut fries with togarashi aioli to split. Delicious! I could not get enough of those fries. They were perfectly fried and seasoned and the aioli was excellent. For my main I went with the Karaage fried chicken bento box which was a generous portion of chicken with a peanut crunch salad, "scattered" omelette sushi, pork and shrimp gyoza, and a side of miso soup. It was all SO good and SO much food! I was uncomfortably full by the time we finished and packed mine up to go (the chicken made an excellent midnight snack later that night when I had the munchies back at our apartment!) Price point is great, portions are generous, staff was lovely, and the space itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Can't ask for much more! We'll definitely be back!

The menu seemed a combo between Western standards with Asian twist/influence. We ordered the mushroom miso soup as well as the tofu bao, the fried chicken with macaroni salad and the fried chicken with fries. the tofu bao was really good, the tofu was a big size and nice coating. the mushroom miso soup was average, not great. the fries that came with the chicken were fantastic! the macaroni salad was ok, but hot mac n cheese would've gone better with the hot chicken. the chicken and the biscuit were decent. overall good portion size food and decent flavor in a nice ambiance

The ambience is cozy with dim lights and comfortable booth seats. They are doing good business -- they were already filling up as soon as they opened, and by the time we left (around 1pm), they were completely full! I had wings, and my friend had the daily sandwich and pasta salad. While she was happy with the taste and portions of her food, I cannot say the same. The wings were quite overseasoned, so the overpowering flavour was salt, and the overcooked meat did not taste fresh. The price was reasonable, and the service was alright, though. The menu looked like it offered a good variety.

This restaurant's sit in an old revitalized church and there is a lot of charm to it. From the stain glass windows to the beautiful chandeliers, it's definitely a beautiful place for any celebration. The staff here are very friendly however we did get a newer staff member who seems to not know the menu well. We had a misorders and the food did take a while to come out. Mind you, we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a big concern and they were very apologetic for bringing us the wrong food, which they corrected promptly. The food itself was good. Everything came out on warm plates and tasted great. We went for brunch so we had brunch/lunch options for food. I will say the food was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. You definitely come here for the ambiance more than the food. Though despite saying that, the fries were super crispy and hot, and I really enjoyed the duck flat bread which was pretty unique. Food-wise, pretty average brunch/lunch menus. They did have a nice variety of eggs Benedict renditions and sandwiches. Service seemed a bit slow & not too familiar with the menu, but still pleasant. Albeit smaller portions for some of the non-sandwich dishes and prices slightly higher than your typical. TIP: Make sure you walk around and tour their upstairs floor!

Glass wall teaching kitchen turning out the finest food that hasn't yet been awarded a Michelin star (I'm going to make a call after posting this because it is deserving of one). Long version: it's called simply The Prune; the restaurant is on the main downtown drag in lovely Stratford and is not to be missed. There is simply not one thing they aren't achieving culinary excellence with - we tried a smattering of offerings such as the fresh oysters, the house made sourdough, the chicory Caesar salad, the house made tofu dish, and finally the flank steak (a perfect dish IMO - hats off to Randi and Mike and the kitchen team). Every one of those dishes listed hit with style and flavor rivaling the best restaurants the world over - yes, if you're wondering, I do like to exaggerate but I promise I'm not in this case. It's just that good. Atmosphere is very pleasant, the place is super clean and modern, and the glass wall kitchen means you can watch the team make magic if you wish.
