Great people. We ordered a 2011 Dodge Challenger on line and they had one. We were going to buy one near us, but they refused to add something we wanted in it. Gilman had the add on and we told them what we wanted online. We told them we'd take it and they said it would be ready on this date back in 2011 when we were going to buy it. Went to have the vehicle serviced for the FIRST TIME and the repair shop COULD NOT locate the wheel locks to rotate the tires. TRIED CALLING THE DEALERSHIP, wrong move, hours on the line with no solution. Instead, we ended up waiting over 2 hours while they ran credit checks and asked for 3 months of bank statements--despite us already qualifying. After all that wasted time, their finance manager Nick Coray presented us with a 16% APR offer. That's right--sixteen percent on a used vehicle they advertise at an affordable rate. Total bait-and-switch move. If you value honesty, efficiency, and fair financing, steer clear. This dealership wasted our time, pulled a shady financing trick, and tried to pressure us into an outrageous rate. Shady dealership...even WITH the Costco relationship. I filled out the form and was given Gilman Jeep as the dealer that would give me the gauranteed Costco low price. Patrick Harris called me on his way home from work, so he had access to nothing. I told him not to worry about it and to give me a call the next morning. Three different quotes and there was always something wrong (that I caught) with each one... The wrong car, the wrong Vin number, and one more excuse of a messed up quote. Also beware that if you purchase a new car from them, you will automatically get charged $3000 for a protection package that you'll never use. I told Patrick that I didn't want it, but Patrick told me it was required. After completing a survey through Costco about the dealership (Costco wanted feedback on the experience and if the dealer had contacted me), I spoke with one of Costco's representatives who said the protection plan was an optional purchase. I reiterated to her that I was told I didn't have the choice. I gave her feedback on the entire process and she was very apologetic. We decided it wasn't worth the hassle (Gillman was the ONLY dealership in the Houston or surrounding areas with a Costco partnership). A day later, Dana P (general manager) sent an email asking us to call with any questions. My husband called and left messages on two different days and guess what...Dana never called him back! I see that Dana responds to some of the reviews, but it is my opinion that he doesn't really care, just wants it to look good. What is sad is that I bought a brand new Acura MDX from Gillman 10 years ago, but clearly they didn't care about loyalty. If you like to play games and deal with the typical used/new car sales people, then this is your dealership. With all the information at your fingertips online, I don't know why they play these games with pricing. Also, Gillman gave me the LOWEST price ($7,000) on my trade by $4000! An offer from CarMax was $12,600! We ended up purchasing our 2024 Wagoneer from another dealership, even further away and we couldn't be more pleased. After a frustrating experience with long delays, poor communication, and discovering 8 new scratches on my car post-service, I initially rated this service department a 1 star. However, I'm updating to 4 stars because management did offer to buff out the scratches free of charge, which I greatly appreciated toward making things right. I first brought in my car to fix the AC - & it does blow cold air again so they did successfully fix my car for what I originally needed. While my trust in them isn't fully restored, I may consider returning for future services if they continue to handle issues responsibly. This company sold me a used car 3 months ago. I took it back to the dealership a month later and ask them to fix it. Didn't fix the car. Now it's back at the dealership completely broken and basically have been told that it's my problem now. I paid 10000 for the car and gave them a train in. Took my new dodge ram Laramie in last fall to have the turn signal repaired. It doesn't cancel after making a left hand turn. Left it there a few days short of a week. Service manger said they couldn't duplicate the problem. I asked if he would take a short ride so I could show him he was wrong. He very rudely said he didn't have time. I just received a recall notice on it. I guess I will now get it fixed. I doubt I'll ever buy a dodge again. Most dealers barely have 1 star ratings for service. I think for this dealership if you find the right individual it makes all the difference in the world. I had the pleasure of working with Sergio Pardo. He was phenomenal from start to finish he did not play any of the standard games. He was an effective communicator, endlessly honest, and without a doubt my favorite out of the bunch of sales people I've ran into. Please give this man a raise ! My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish, unfortunately! I just can't still believe it happened.. The issues with my car have persisted since the moment of purchase, and despite four different visits to this dealership--the problem remains unresolved!! Despite meticulously documenting the issues with six different video recordings, they have continuously fallen short of addressing it! But the nightmare doesn't stop here! The day before yesterday's encounter with the service director, Alvin B, was shockingly unprofessional and beyond belief... Upon his request, I went to the dealership to test drive the vehicle with him! However, during the drive, when I inquired if he had viewed any videos regarding the issues that I've sent before, his dismissive and arrogant response was deeply concerning! Beware of this dealer and its unethical practices. From the moment The finance guy asked me to sign a form stating that he had explained all the documentation from the purchase before going over the car purchase agreement , I didn't feel comfortable and should have run out of his office. But I didn't and I got scammed. It was clear the finance guy was upset because I declined to purchase the mopar coverage offered by the dealer. Since the beginning I politely declined the offer, but he kept in pushing the sale and making up "deals" and discounts, very dishonest. (At one point his offers were ridiculous and insulting [like offering a discount for being a Cosco member or live in a certain neighborhood]) Also, In the original contract, the Finance Dept was very careless because later on while checking my bank account I realized I ended up with a different bank. They never told me . I also found out because the first bank (original loaner) informed me my application was missing vital information. (Anyways I already explained this to corporate [offered apology, but still got screwed up]) I didn't feel comfortable how they managed my personal info (to the point I am keeping a close look at my accounts). Very disappointed with the Jeep experience! Frank cooked the numbers so well to his advantage that I ended up paying over 1.5k for a "nitro package" Somehow it is embarrassing to write how I was taken advantage of, but I'm doing it to warn other Jeep enthusiasts. Anyways, just heads up and don't trust them . You won't be seen as a client, but as someone they can take advantage of. Furthermore, I have the feeling they deliberately did not give me a pristine vehicle. The pictures will highlight the irregularities not acceptable for a $45k+ Jeep. Worst car buying experience ever! Wasn't quite sure how much knowledge he would have and if my questions would all be answered with the Wagoneer being new to the product line, but he exceeded our expectations. Super knowledgeable about the features among the different Wagoneer models. We used our own bank for financing so I can't rate that service. The finance/closing guy was super busy due to the holidays and short staffed on NYE, but it went much quicker than previous car buying experiences. Trade in was close to blue book. We are happy with our purchase and grateful that Patrick was eager to help us out in finding the right vehicle. It's not often that a sales person stays at a dealer, I noticed Patrick had all sorts of awards on his desk representing his years of experience at Gilliam. The salesman communicated with me since 1 week ago, and set the appointment today at 2pm. We confirmed it yesterday, and again this morning. As soon as I arrived there at 2pm, the salesman told me that car was sold out 1.5 hours ago. I said I drove there all the way from Huntsville and he could have called me and saved me this long trip. Then they immediately offered me other cars. I asked them to prove that they have sold that car, otherwise it was just a false advertise. No, they could not show me anything, but just a buyer picture who knows from anywhere or anytime. I asked about their paperwork or any record, they said they couldn't. Then they sent me away to next door Honda, saying they had a similar car (with higher miles and higher price), ok, I would take the chance. BUT, NO, they said they could not find that car, could not find the key, could not get hold of the technician who is off today. After a long time, they brought me back to Chrysler and offered me another car again. Well, what is going on there? A game? Fool around people? Be carful of doing business with them. read more

IT is new, 5600 miles, so according to Gus I guess they screwed me a few months ago. I was trying to trade for their 2022 Ram Quad Cab, which was on line for $38,000, $39,000, $40,000, and then $41,000. Gus says that is fair, my car and $41,700 for their truck. Then Gus floors me with, it has 5000 miles on it, been loaned out to customers, has minor damage. Arguing back and forth with a salesman Gus now puts on it, I offer $2500 and my car. Gus refuses to respond or call me. Then yesterday I could not help but notice, Gus dropped the truck price to $37,000, $1,000 difference between my trade and their truck, according to Gus, but Gus won't talk to me, says Corporate will call me today. So if he took my $2500 offer they would have made $1500 more. Now that he has lowered the price, he won't talk to me. So I decided to value their truck on their own Buy My Car tab, it came back $34,000. Almost $3,000 under my cars value Gus says, not the $42,000 KBB says. DO YOU SEE THE FRAUD HERE??? Gus is not only terrible with customer service, he is also a liar, and con man. We bought a 3500 Dodge Ram back in December 2023. The interest rate was high so after 6 months we got it refinance at our Credit Union. On getting it refinance, I asked Chrysler to just deduct the extra warranties and gap insurance as I would be buying it at the credit union. They told me that they could not do that and we had to have the Credit Union pay the full price that we owed them and then have Gillman reimburse us. Back on July 2, I took over the letter to the dealership and they saw that we had paid off the truck. The letter said Ram 3500 has been paid and that the dealership should reimburse us our monies. This was about $5,700 dollars worth of gap, extended warranty, tire and wheel warranty and some unidenfied warranty as well. In going to them the finance guy told me that it would take 30 days to get reimbused. Well, we got the gap after 30 days, then I had to call about the extended warranty and other warranties. They said something about they had to wait for the warranty company to reimburse them and then we would get reimbursed. Well after 60 more days, me constantly calling them, as they thought or felt that I would forget, I guess, they sent the warranty check to Chrysler saying that was the procedure. Why do you need to send my money to Chrysler when you have the letter saying I had paid Chrysler off? Chrylser took 35 days to send us the extended warranty check. We are still waiting on the tire and wheel money, and we are told that they have to send that to Chrysler as well. What I am saying is that never again will I finance anything with Gillman or Chrysler. They are both crooks. You can pay them right away but to get your money reimbursed to you, takes forever. This is unacceptable. Also, when you call or send email to Dana Leperle, VP of Finance, who is always trying to get your business, he want even respond to your emails or phone calls. On Saturday I went to see a used car that was advertised online at Gillman Chrysler Dodge Ram. It turns out it had been put online before it had gone through the pre-sale inspection and cleanup. I still liked the car and said I was interested in buying it once they completed the inspection and cleanup. There was also some broken items that needed to be addressed (broken headlight, missing cover to door handle and one tire with very little tread left). The salesman brought out the sales manager and the sales manager asked if I was really interested in buying that car and I said I was. He said that he would put the car at the front of the line to get processed and that it should be ready to pick up Tuesday evening. He said they would call me when it was ready. We shook hands. I gave my contact information to the salesman. I did not hear from the dealership on Tuesday, so i figured it was taking a little longer than expected. I did not hear anything by 5 pm on Wednesday so I called the salesman and left a message on his cell phone. He texted back to say that he had been off work the last two days but that he would contact his boss and let me know. I did not hear from the salesperson today (Thursday) so I texted him for an update at 4 pm. He replied that they just told him the car was sold yesterday. The main reason I was shopping for a used car at a dealership and not some no-name car lot is I thought there would be a higher standard of conduct. Obviously I was wrong. Corrupt Pre-Owned Sales - False information and Fraud! After a long day of looking at trucks with my son (a firefighter), we saw a truck here that was tagged with a really good price. The sun was setting and we were happy to find this "deal" at the end of a tiring day that he would be able to afford on his budget. (HFD pay sucks.) This was his first dealings to purchase a vehicle "on his own". The salesman provided us a clean Carfax report stating the vehicle was accident-free. We asked about the price and were told something like: that the truck was traded in by the GM's friend because she wanted something else. We spent the next 2 hours closing the deal/paperwork. After driving it a bit, my son noticed it was pulling to the right. After trips to this dealership and one closer to his home, twice for rotate & balance the tires, twice for alignments - it still would not drive straight. When someone at the nearby dealership saw the vehicle, he immediately told my son, "This vehicle has been in an accident." He said that the paint color was not a mfr. original. We were furious. My son was scrambling between his TWO JOBS to try to get this truck fixed - to drive straight. Little did we know it was falsely proclaimed to us as accident free. We figure the dealership must've repaired it in-house ("GM's friend" probaby traded it for a loss) and flipped it for a nice profit. Unbelievable, how blatantly corrupt this dealership is. IT GETS WORSE. My son, having lost his patience, wants to take it back. Unable to accompany him on a weekday, I tell my son to give him a piece of their mind and for them to "make it right" - give him his money back or fix the vehicle properly. At the end of the day, what do I find out happened? They persuaded him to trade the truck in for $2000 LESS than what they sold it to him for, AND "wooed" him into purchasing his dream truck - almost new and fully loaded - for around $16K more - AND tacked on extra Warranty and stuff, bringing his monthly payments to an unaffordable, whopping $680/month!! Now guess what - this shiny new truck is giving trouble throwing into "safety mode" and disengaging the transmission. The mfr. has not issued a recall, and the dealership "can't find" or "can't diagnose or repair" the problem, despite being able to read a laundry list of error codes over several months, and despite paying for that extra Warranty. They kept the vehicle 2 weeks, gave it back, and within 2 days, the "check" light pops back on. read more

I bought one tire for my son's truck. When I went to pick it up they had put on ( and charged me for) 4 tires. They said all they could do was put the old ones back on and showed me a large pile of tires. They said the old ones had no tread. They tires were less than one year old and had driven less than 20000 miles. read more

I purchased a used vehicle from Gillman Jeep almost 2 months ago. The initial encounter was pleasant and full of promises. Promises that Nelson the salesman, Jason the sales manager, and Dana the general manager have failed to deliver on. All three of these men have lied to me and refuse to fulfill a relatively simple promise upon purchase of a used vehicle. I would not recommend purchasing from this dealership, especially a used vehicle. I feel that i have afforded them plenty of time to fulfill their promises. Sales: Leaning more towards Meh. I've experienced better. I first came with an Ex to get his Jeep I don't know maybe 2014. His sales man was new and just upbeat. Loved him. Then I came to get my jeep late 2015, service was fantastic, from the sales guy to the finance office. They all worked super hard to give me exactly what I wanted. Service and Parts: Fast forward to this year 2019, my car is under warranty. First issue, So I got a crack in my windshield. I called around, a local shop ask me "What kind of window do you have?" A normal one, there's nothing special to it. I took it in to get replaced, and they say this is a special window, there's wires hooked up to it. It should defrost or wipers should come on when it rains on it own. Well I've had this thing for years and never knew that! I take it to the dealership, they confirm it wasn't working, and I never got the call back to take my car in. Service and parts had to order the part. Months later I still have a crack windshield. I am just going to replace with a plain windshield somewhere else. That would have been just fine if they didn't fix my Jeep, although I am sure I paid more for a feature I never got. They broke my hood. I traveled out of the country recently and was pulled over for a complete check. As I watched, they couldn't figure out how to open my hood, they said the lever was broken. The officer asked who last opened your hood? "The dealership." I told them there is nothing else wrong with my car except the window. Please don't mess with anything else. read more

Came to jeep dealership service department today sat in my jeep for over 45mins without one person even acknowledging my presence. Not a give me a minute and I'll get with you or nothing. Probably because of my skin complexion. I just left and went to different jeep dealership and was assisted right away. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had my car towed here Tuesday. My advisor, Sandra, told me she would call me when it arrived. She didn't. I called her around 4pm and she told me it had just arrived. This was lie #1. I know my car was dropped off at 11:36am. I told her that the battery was bad or the car blew a fuse. On Wednesday I called her at 11am and she had no update but would call me back around 2 or 3. She didn't. I called her at 5pm. She told the lady who answered the phone to tell me she'd call me back in a few minutes. She didn't. I went up there and she tells me the mechanic looked at my car and nothing was wrong with the battery so it needed a full diagnostic. This was new information. I had a feeling she lied so I had my car picked up and taken elsewhere. The problem was my battery--like I told her. These people lie. They don't keep up with you about your vehicle. And it takes way too long to diagnose the problem. I was told they were busy but as I walked up to I saw a mechanic sitting down in the garage texting on his phone. read more
