We just stepped in for a beer and a snack but next time we're gonna order a pizza! It really looked delicious and everybody seemed to be enjoying it. We sat outside where they have plenty of shade for most tables. It's Arizona so a few more umbrellas would not hurt. Lol. Service was spot on. Waitress always made sure that our drinks would full and she checked on us regularly. We're definitely coming back for the pizza! read more

A fantastic pizza. You look around the town and wonder, who Iives here? Well, probably pizza lovers.

The wings were drool worthy deliciousness sweet and tango Thai mango and you do not need ranch, believe me. To top it off the gilligan supreme pizza was 1 in my top 5 pizza's I've had in awhile, the texture of the crust and the toppings all taste like they took the very best ingredients to make your pizza. Every summer we come here, good people and great food and weather. read more

Service was excellent considering it seems to be a packed , busy place. Special shout out to Brittnee for taking good care of us. We had a party of six yesterday during the afternoon. We absolutely love stopping in and having a bite to eat. The bartenders/servers Alyssa and Brittany always make us feel like family, and the cooks are great. The patio is so nice to sit out on and sitting inside is great too! read more

This is a great spot to stop at for lunch when passing through Yarnell. Big sunny patio surrounded by oaks, friendly attentive service. And while we saw several of the pizzas they are known for, we had really big tasty sandwiches. We were on our way home after a day up in Prescott, Gilligans is a perfect place to stop. read more

Let me focus solely on my review of the Gilligans pizza restaurant. I was not pleased with the taste, texture, flavor, especially for the price I was charged. Just my two cents others may like the food at Gilligans but I did not and would not recommend to my friend or family. I hope this review helps others with their choices for dining out. -peace read more

Great food. Super fresh and great vibe. Server was also knowledgeable and quick. Prices were reasonable.

Found three hairs in my pizza. Very disappointed, this was the Second time I've been here after my family recommended it. Service was excellent each time same with the food besides this pizza. (Was found after I took it home for leftovers obviously cooked with it because it was under the cheese) read more

This is a hidden gem. Yarnell.is a short drive from the metro phoenix are up a winding road with amazing desert views. Yarnell itself is a small town at the edge of the mountain amongst the granit rocks. Gilligans is tucked behind a small yellow building and includes a small bar with limited indoor seating and a larger porch with outdoor seating. The staff was small town friendly and attentive. The food was top notch, their kitchen really knows their stuff. I ended up choosing the gyro for lunch. The tzezeke sauce was fantastic! As you know the sauce makes the gyro and they get it right! My wife got a French dip and was amazed with it. Our friends got wings and they too were amazed with the flavor. If your headed to Prescott up highway 89 or want to get out of town it's a great stop! read more

I have had better grocery store frozen pizzas. Avoid this place. The seating is so uncomfortable. Service was mediocre at best. The margaritas were lacking alcohol. Cute place to have a beer. read more

Great place to stop for food service and ambiance. We make it our regular stop on our way to Prescott.

Dont bother with this place. Rude staff and average fare for premium prices. Either go further up the mountain, or down to wickenburg.

A group of 8 of us hiked the Granite Mountain Hotshot Memorial Trail and then came here after. I had called about a week ahead and made a reservation. When we arrived our table was waiting on the deck, and our server brought our drinks right away. The pizza was delicious and really hit the spot after our 7 mile hike. I totally recommend this cute spot!! read more

I'm just not sure how this place has high reviews. Let's start with when we arrived (us and a friend in cars) were warned not to park in front by this older and less than friendly woman because they didn't want us there in front, so we had to squeeze a place down the street when they had ZERO customers at the place (I kinda see why). So we brought our dogs because on Google it clearly states (picture included) they are dog friendly. So we roll on up in to the place and as we were going up the steps this younger woman very dismissively stated no dogs are allowed. So there were NO signs anywhere outside the facility stating this anywhere until you start to go in and up the stairs, which honestly is just too late. Hey, do yourselves a favor and post this outside so people don't waste their time going to what we all felt is a very unfriendly environment for your customers. The woman who snapped at my wife regarding some BS law about pets and then having the fricken nerve to then argue with my wife about the fact Google said they are "dog friendly" (it's an outdoor patio for Christ sake), she needs to go! We live local and there is just no way anyone we know would go there! We down the road a little ways to the T-Bird cafe and we were treated with respect! At the end of the day this place just needs to do better! If you hate your customers as much as we sensed you do, you should probably just go away! I'm read more

If we ride through Yarnell, we stop at Gillian's. It's a very small pizza and sandwich place but it is soooooo good! The bread and pizza crusts are homemade and are simply fabulous. Sometimes, it's super busy and other times it's pretty relaxed. The folks that work there are always friendly. Gilligan's is definitely worth stopping for! read more

Many people we know recommended Gilligans, so we finally tried it out. Highway 89 to Yarnell is such a majestic mountain experience to behold. The massive granite boulders are like sentinels guarding the area of the Granite Mountain Hotshot Memorial Park and Trail. It was too cold to sit outside so we sat at the live edge wooden tables and took in the cool vibe. Service was quick and friendly. We settled on two medium pizzas to share (The Big Island and The Veggie), soul warming cappuccino, and Stella beers. We were served the biggest "medium" pizzas I've ever eaten. The thin crust pizzas had fresh veggies, to-die-for sauce, oodles of cheese, and great meats to savor. Cauliflower crusts are available. Gilligans has full bar service, happy hour (2-4 pm), tasty appetizers, mouth watering pizza choices, specials, and is open 7-days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A great find. We will be back to try the wings and Hawaiian Pizza! read more

Gilligans is our go-to spot when we ride through Yarnell. Friendly bar staff and the kitchen puts out excellent food. Check this place out!

If you're going to be in yarnell Arizona you must stop at Gilligan's. The pizza was great, and the salad was fresh and had really good Italian dressing. This place feels like you're walking into someone's kitchen, not necessarily a restaurant. It has a very homey vibe to it. I'll definitely be back. read more

Loved it live locally ate here once and now it's our spot for yummy food awesome drinks and fun atmosphere!!!!!!!

We took a motorcycle ride up there Yarnell AZ, to get out of the early heat in the valley. We stopped in at Gilligans on the recommendation of our neighbors riding with us. Well let me tell you what ..from the moment we walked in we we're greeted with some of the best hospitality around. We took a table out doors on the back deck and it was a beautiful day to enjoy the cool air and cold drinks. The deck is gorgeous, like sitting in your best friends back yard. Our waitress (her name slips my mind at the moment) was on spot, as well the gentleman helping out. Our drinks were always full and we didn't need to ask for anything. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and 1/2 dozen garlic rubbed wings. Wow! The pizza crust is to die for- this crust was full of flavor in itself. The sauce has a tangy taste that was complemented by a generous portion of mozzarella cheese. The wings were a nice surprise. They were baked (not deep fried folks) to perfection and rubbed with some butter type sauce. They were delicious. If you're ever in or passing through Yarnell, AZ make it a point to stop in at Gilligans. You'll be treated with down home hospitality, served delicious food and have an overall enjoyable experience sitting out on the back porch, enjoying the cool weather read more

This is my 3rd time at this place! The owner told my mom and our disable friend when they sat down "get back over there I didn't tell you to sit here" I confronted the lady and she started screaming at me, this is the owner! As we are walking out she said she was going to call the cops on me lol for what? She is a crackhead and their food sucks their dishes are never clean.. the service is bad and when I called today the guy yelled and me and said never come back, really? You actually think I ever come back to your Dump? Lol we walked out they didn't kick us out, plus my parents were regulars there.. The lady that was with us is disable. They don't have a place to sit for people with disabilities. The town is made up of older people and apparently this place doesn't care about the people that live in Yarnell/Peeples Valley or people with disabilities. Sad read more

Been there may times, loved their pizza. I stopped on Saturday noonish and hardly anyone there. I must have been the last one to get the memo, the pizza was terrible. $36 for a large sausage and mushroom and 2 beers. They use frozen dough, no sauce, no mushrooms, hardly any sausage, and undercooked. I wish I had taken a photo. I told the waitress how disappointed I was. I would have thought someone like a manager or owner would have spoken to me, nothing. Reading the recent reviews I can tell this place is on a decline. Read down further and the owner responded to a bad review blaming the customer. laughable.... and if that's their attitude, won't be long and there will be a for sale sign in front. Gilligans is a drive by now for me on the way to Prescott. Too many better choices out there. read more

on sat may 4th there were 2 ladies working the outside patio area. One was our server and she was pleasant. The other person outside wasn't really doing anything other than harass new customers about the seating policy. The policy wasn't the issue. It was the way that she spoke to not only my group but other customers as well. She clearly has no professional ethics and has no business being a server manager or owner of a business that demands good customer service. the diner across the street has better food and service. first and last time we go here read more
