Rating my purchase experience at Gilland Ford.From the time I walked in the showroom, until the time I signed my purchase agreement, the staff at Gilland Ford went over-the-top to assist with my purchase. It was my first time purchasing a car in 16 years! I felt so welcomed, whether I decided to purchase or not. Specifically my salesman, Cody Ellis went out of his way to help me decide to or not-to purchase my vehicle. My situation was unique, and i was very emotional. I decided to purchase a used car, Ford Edge, which was what I had been eyeing for a while. Throughout the experience, I never felt pressured, or tried to change from what I wanted. Cody listened to me, and met my needs. He was very familiar with the features on the vehicle, and was completely transparent with all of my questions, and offered his availability even after the sale was finished. I had a great experience. This is my story. I am new to the area and had no knowledge of any of the dealers. So starting out, one was just like the other. I saw a truck online for sale at Gilland. I waited a few days before I went, wanting to make sure I was getting a good deal. As it turned out, by the time I got there the truck was already sold. Needless to say, I went home a bit disappointed that day. Continuing my online search, it just so happen, I came across another truck at Gilland, the second was better than the first, in that, it was a later model with fewer miles. Keeping in mind, being new to the area, a navigation system was a must for me and I wanted a V8. I called ahead this time to make sure the truck I wanted was still there - it was. Never thought I'd buy a car online. But, several months ago, I did. A used Ford Escape. Sight unseen. From over a 150 miles away. And, after putting the Ford through the grind for several thousand miles, I'm still thrilled with my deal. Actually, it didn't all happen online. Gilland Ford salesperson Tina worked with me over the phone, after I inquired online. She was great. I didn't haggle over price, because it was already marked down to 'move it' lane. But Tina made everything else fair...and she did it fast. No surprise fees, and lower fees than other dealers. Quick responses, worked well with my insurance company (St. Farm...hurray for them, too!), secured a good loan, made e-paperwork easy, and provided all the details I wanted--even the depth of the tire tread;) I CONSIDERED Gilland Ford because they had the 2017 with the rarely available feature combo I wanted -- larger 2.0 L Turbo engine, 4WD in Silver--and because it was priced right. I CHOSE Gilland because of the way they dealt with me over the phone. ​This is simply the best dealership around I have gone to a few places around here before coming here but a friend of mine recommended this place so I went to see if they could help me as I was kinda on a tight budget for a car for college. Me and my grandma went and we were blown away by how friendly people were as soon as you walked into the room. We sat down with Kenny and talked about some options for a car and we decided a 2017 focus would be the right move as it was one of the newer vehicles in my price range. I just purchased a new F-150 4X4 and I got an unbelievable deal! We have purchased three new Ford trucks and two new Ford cars from Gilland over the last three years. My wife and I drive over 600 miles each way to deal with Gilland. We drive through four states with many Ford Dealers to get to Gilland and get the Gilland deal. The New car Sales Manager is very ethical and professional. They have a excellent Service Staff and Service Manager. I see two reviews on here that are bad mouthing Gilland Ford! GILLAND FORD is by far the best dealership I have ever been to the experience was above and Beyond all my expectations. Nobody hounded us. CODY our sales man I just cant say enough about him he was great we weren't there all day and that was my biggest request to him and he made it happen in just a few hours. I really enjoy going to Gilland Ford in Ozark. The staff is so courteous and helpful! I have been several times for new tires, oil change and replacement of my wiper/washer jet sprayer. Tires and parts came in quickly. Got an appointment for the time of day I needed. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone greets you and takes time to talk with you. They have a very nice sitting area with televisions, magazines, wifi, snacks, sodas and coffee. They have always lived up to every promise they have made me. Found a car online and came to the dealer looking to make a trade. Extremely friendly sales staff, extremely competent. Everything was done and taken care of within 48 hours and they were very accommodating to military service members. The sales agent I was working with, Tina Adkins, even came in on her day off to close out the deal with me. Fiance department also extremely friendly, competent, and patient. I had never had experience with financing a car before and the finance staff worked to carefully break everything down so I knew exactly what I was agreeing to and how it could be beneficial. While traveling from Florida to Greenville with my mother, I noticed something wrong with my F150. I searched for the nearest Ford dealer and found Gilland so we took the truck to their service department and expected a long wait and reluctance to work on a vehicle that was "just passing through." Boy was I surprised! My truck was fixed in less than 30 minutes and we were on our way. The incredibly friendly service manager and staff were reassuring, professional, and more than fair.
