Quick Response and the plumber/technician was friendly, on time, and got the job done quickly.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the full repipe service performed at my home. While I originally did not intend to leave a formal review, the number of issues I have encountered is unacceptable. I have experienced leaks throughout the system. I have even had to purchase my own crimping tool to repair pipes myself. Additionally, all of the piping in my bathroom required replacement. Most recently, I discovered that the main line entering the house has no support and is completely loose as water flows through it. I chose not to contact you for repairs because I no longer felt comfortable having your team at my property. I am sharing this feedback to document the poor quality of workmanship and the significant repairs I have had to undertake on my own. read more

Have used Gil for several years with no issues however recently the other guys who work for him have been sent out to jobs at my properties and they have been terrible. They came out to do a leak detection and ended up leaving huge holes in the ceiling and walls and then told me they cant figure out how to fix the issue but still charged me a large fee. They were also used to clear a main line clog, charged us $400 and within 8 hours the plumbing was backing up again. He told me to come back out there would be another fee. Will not use them again. read more

Do yourself a favor and call them first. This company has "Pride In Ownership"! I used them first 6 years ago when I moved on the Mountain and use them for all my plumbing needs. They are a joy to work with, fast, fare, honest, reliable and do quality work. I've come to learn it's a family trade and their experience shows in their work and customer service. Gilbert, the owner is lighting responsive, down to earth and makes sure you're taken care of. I've mainly have had Gilbert, Chris, Erin and Jordan. I just want to give them a Big Thanks on Yelp and let you Yelpers know- this company is GREAT. I'll just add this... maybe I'm picky, but I've had a hard time finding reliable, quality companies on the mountain for many services like tree trimming, asphalt work, snow plowing.... This is a company I am thankful for and will be sticking with. read more

My new insurance carrier requires the installation of a Leak Detector w/Automated Shutoff valve. I called GAP and the owner told me someone could be at my house today to give me a quote and do the work. GAP had the valve on their truck and immediately started working. Chris and Aaron were very professional and easy to work with. The valve works with an iPhone app that lets you operate it from your phone. Very cool. Chris was very helpful and assisted me in setting up the app. Great company, great guys, and great communication. Thanks! read more

At first I was going to give a questionable review but when I found out there was a family emergency, I decided not to. Even though there was a family issue, Gilbert sent his son. I apologize for not remembering his name, but he was so helpful and showed me what the issue was with my plumbing. Wasn't clogged drains, it was drains not set up correctly. Thanks again Gilbert Acuna Plumbing and yes, I highly recommend them. read more

My experience with replacing my water heater went from a serious concern to a satisfactory result in less than a day with Gilbert Acuna Plumbing. Originally I thought the water leak near the water heater was due to the rain and snow we had recently experienced in Lake Arrowhead. However, over time it became apparent that I needed to fully and quickly replace our leaking water heater. I was experiencing problems finding a good service until I was introduced to Gilbert Acuna Plumbing. In less that two hours after contacting him his team were at my home removing the old heater and two hours later, I had a new quality replacement installed at a very reasonable cost. My wife and I could not be more satisfied with the very friendly and helpful service and assistance that we received. I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs read more

I hired Gilbert Acuna Plumbing a few months ago when there was a water leak on my property in Lake Arrowhead. The Arrowhead Villa Mutual Service Co. had flagged me and I knew I had to get the leak (I had no idea where it was generated) quickly to avoid a fine. Gilbert Acuna's crew came out within hours as promised and pinpointed the problem as a water heater leak. After serious consideration, I decided to install a tankless and the crew went to work immediately to install. The job which included removing and hauling away the large, heavy water heater (from 16 years ago) and installing the sleek new tankless took place seamlessly. In a hurry to finish the job, packing material was inadvertently left but they returned immediately when I called. I would highly recommend Gilbert Acuna and it isn't always easy to find reliable contractors in the San Bernardino mountain area. read more

I got a call from the water company nobody wants to get that my water usage had jumped dramatically. Remembering my positive experience with Gil over 10 years ago I reached out again and once again was not disappointed. Chris had great communication, came out quickly, and documented everything with pictures and videos. He made a pretty bad situation manageable. Hopefully I won't have to see them for 10 more years but I know who I will be calling if I ever have a problem. read more

We recently purchased a home in Crestline and Gilbert Acuna and his team have been extremely helpful since before the purchase was even final. They were able to come out and provide an estimate for us at no cost prior to closing on the home, and honored their pricing (with additional value added) once we moved in. Chris and Aaron arrived right on time, moved quick, were respectful of our home and completed the work replacing the main line before 3pm same day! They covered their tracks completely and you can't even tell where they dug. Water pressure is great! We will use Chris, Aaron, Gilbert and their team for all of our plbg needs. read more

I had an issue with my shower with only hot water just coming out. My Land lord had a handy-man come out fix it, however we still had the same issue. I called Gilbert Acuna Plumbing and setup an appointment for the next day. Christopher arrived at the set schedule time. Christopher replaced the water shower valve, and adjusted the water heater, it was set to hottest point. Christopher Acuna, explained that the water heater first point was the bathroom shower, and from there to the rest of the hot water outlets. My hot water shower issue was finally fixed. I had previously purchased a new shower head and Christopher said he would install it. What I like about Gilbert Acuna Plumbing, family run business, honest, job done right, and on time. Called about getting an estimate and set up a date and time for someone to come by. No one ever showed up.

Outstanding service received from beginning to end from this wonderful father/son business. Gilbert was quick to respond to my call of a burst water heater at my cabin I manage from northern CA. He was ON IT, assessing the damage, removing wet materials and getting heater and fans in place immediately to start the dry out process and prevent further harm. Then he provided several options for replacement to include economical, recommended optimum upgrade and middle of the road which I appreciated especially with this unexpected expense. Throughout the job Gilbert provided photos and status reports to put me at ease. My deepest thanks to Acuna plumbing and Gilbert for your professionalism and amazing customer care. read more

First of all I called Gilbert Acuna to fix a clogged sink in the kitchen. He was able to come out the same day and fix the clog. What a lifesaver. He did an excellent job and sent me a video of the process. He also sent me videos of the work. These guys are so pleasant to work with. You will not be disappointed. Lifesavers!! read more

Acuna Plumbing is the BEST!!!! I called and talked to Gilbert, and he said "they're on a job right now, but can come out when they're done this afternoon." What, the same day?! Unheard of. Chris, and Erin showed up, and did an excellent job. They are super nice, and they explained everything as they went along, showed me the pipes that were bad (it's an old cabin), and replaced, and took care of me. It was a big job, but they "got her done", and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm a renter, so the job was going to come off my rent to make it easier for me, and my Landlord. They take Venmo, so it was easy, peasy, lemon squeezy! I can't say enough good things about them. If you have any plumbing problems, they are definitely the ones to call!! Just had them come out and help me connect my water heater to my supply lines. I'm a DIYer and got stuck, called two other plumbers who wanted to either come tomorrow or charge me just to come out to look at it (one of whom didn't want the job because they couldn't make enough money since I was doing it myself and only wanted the galvanized supply and return lines connected). My wife wisely told me to hang up, called Gilbert Acuna, he sent his brother Chris and Aaron out and they ARRIVED WITHIN 30 MINUTES. Wow! They quoted me a very fair price and were excellent, super nice guys and knowledgeable. I wound up just having them finish the install and paid them a little more since they quoted such a great price. Very honest guys too, a family business. I love supporting local businesses on the mountain and have heard great things about them. I was not disappointed! Highly recommended! read more
