Avoid!! Went in for a dip manicure. My previous manicure had grown out and I just asked that the color was removed, a light trim and the same color and shape applied. The guy doing my nails cut them wayyy too short to the point he had cut some skin and ended up putting extensions on every nail (didn't size right either). He also tried to clip off all of the dip instead of soaking/filing off. While he's attempting the do my nails - he gave me a color booklet that were apparently all out then gave me another booklet that of 6 watches, only 1 had color that they actually had. When I asked to speak to the manager she didn't bother apologizing or trying to correct the terrible job. Everything was so bad that I left with the extensions on. All in all, I would avoid. They put some type of fake powder on my nails and they were supposed to be white powder nails they turned blue the next day. This has been by far the worst manicure I have ever gotten in my life. The shellac kept getting fuzzies on it from his towel, and instead of taking them off, he was painting over them. one of my thumbs got messed up and the shellac was peeling off so he just painted over it so now it's super lumpy. Some nails have shellac all the way up to my finger so I'll know it's going to peeling off within a week. Went in today with my friend. I wanted a pedicure and she wanted a full set. We waited at least 15 mins because they had almost no staffing in there. The guy doing my pedicure had no gloves on. He said nothing about pricing until I asked. He was distracted and talking to other workers. At the end he basically begged/pressured for a tip after the pedicure was already $45. My friend said that the lady who started on her full set- glued on her tips then walked away and said they had to dry when really she went to go start on another customers set. After my pedicure I came to sit down with my friend and the woman doing her nails was using the drill/filing thing but then completely looking out the window distracted because there was multiple police cars out there while the drill was still running. When GiGis first opened it was amazing. Great service, CLEAN, good polish selection... Everything exceeded my expectations. But now, not so much. The people are still friendly and do a good job on your nails BUT they have gotten extremely unsanitary. They don't open new tools for each customer, and don't seem to properly clean their pedi tubs (just a spray and rinse). With that being said, you can say goodbye to fresh pedicure water as they keep tubs filled with still water for hours before reheating it for a customer (see image attached). This place is really dirty meaning they reuse pedicure slippers and toe separators and only rinse out the pedicure bowls, and a couple techs have nail fungus. My normal pedicure location of choice was closed, so last night my Mom, sister, and I went to Gigi Nails. They have quite an operation in there! The place is huge and there were at least 10 pedicure chairs. We were sat quickly, and we all got worked on right away. I had a really nice blonde girl (I think Allyson was her name?) and she was great! I had the super-deluxe fancy pedicure, which came with a salt scrub, warm towels, along with 5 different lotions/topical stuff that they put on. I do appreciate that they ask each client how thick they'd like their french to be, along with what base color they'd like (Clear, pearl or pink) I may even stop here again! read more

My friend and I wanted to go have pedicures together, and she had been here before. I was afraid they wouldn't be open (it was Sunday), but considering I didn't really know any other places downriver I was game. The place was PACKED! We had about a 20 min wait, but it wasn't a big deal. The place itself is nothing special, but they had the massage chairs, free bottled water, nice staff (although most don't speak English), big TV's and cheap/reasonable prices... good enough for me! The girl who did my pedicure did a good job, and my friend requested Lisa, who really went to town on her feet! She asked that one of her nails be cut down some more (she is super picky) and Lisa ended up going over all of them and buffing them out more, etc. Seriously, she had like a 2 hr pedicure. I paid $25 for a french pedicure, and I think my friend spent $20 for a regular one. Manicure and pedicure are $32 (plus $5 for each french). Only issues I encountered: *I will pay more attention next time, but I don't remember seeing any sanitizer wells. And one of the ladies handed my girl a tool, and I could have sworn she had just used it on someone. But maybe I'm just paranoid. *I like my french pedicures with a thicker white line and a pinkish tint, but I suppose I should have specified. *When I asked the girl to break my $20 for a tip she gave me all $5 bills. I suppose I was going to give her 20% anyway, but a few singles would have been less tacky. I'll go back, because hey, it could have been worse! DONT GO. Never had a good experience here, and I've gave it a couple tries, same with my mom. Anyways, most previous time she cut my toe nail shorter than I thought possible and the big toe nail is uneven. She never put a clear coat on and they don't look right. Don't get me wrong, 1/4 of my acrylic refills were awesome. The workers are extremely rude except for at least 2 of them. You know those pesky little hairs that you don't know are there until your boyfriend so tactfully points it out to you. We arrived right when the salon opened, at 9am. I wanted a dip manicure, my mom a gel fill. The lady there started working on my mom's nails right away, and I asked if I would have to wait for her to finish her nails to get mine done, and if so, I would wait and get mine done at another time. I was told someone was on their way and would do mine, so they wanted to get started removing my current dip. One of the other people sat me at a table and wrapped my nails in acetone to remove the dip. I sat there for over an hour, with people who had come in after me being served. These were other walk-ins. The first worker finished my mom's nails, and called me over, apologizing for my wait. When she removed the foil, the cotton had dried to my nails, and my skin had been in the acetone for so long it started peeling. Then, the color I choose was not the same as what she applied, but by the time that was clear, I would've had to wait additional time and I just wanted to leave. Over two hours of my Saturday morning was wasted and this all could've been avoided at the outset with some honesty about the length of time I'd be waiting. read more

Not good. Dirty, broken equipment, long long waits, they clearly talk about the customer in their native tongue and they make it obvious when they all laugh and look at you. My daughter was forgotten about for an hour for her mani. My pedi chair was broke so the massage components of the chair were just uncomfortable to sit on. I moved to a different chair where the water was waiting and it was ice cold. Yikes. It was so awkward when it was time to pay. The man was visibly irritated with me when I gave him my debit card and he put his hand in my face and walked away shaking his head...he came back with my receipt and told me "next time you pay tip in cash" it was not relaxing and 2 hours of my life and $60 I'll never get back. I came here because it is down the street from my daughters gymnastics. I walked in and to my surprise, the salon felt very much like a high dollar spa. The staff greeted me right away. I waited about 10 minutes, as they were very busy. There were a group of friends getting their pedi's before all vacationing together. I thought that was great that they could all make appointments to get it done at the same time. Most places only have 1 or 2 people doing pedi's at a time.
