Tourist trap overlooking the port so I would Avoid it - I had the Margherita and the quality was lacking

I'm giving this place five stars because of the food. We got the five cheese pizza and truffle pasta made gluten free... wow. The pizza seemed like regular old pizza, it was so chewy and had a great bite. The cheeses also melded together so well. Loved loved loved. The gluten free pasta was penne which I was slightly disappointed because all gluten free places only offer penne pasta as the alternative and I would have thought this place would be different given it so highly touts its gluten free options. The truffle dish was still outstanding, the flavor was so decadent and creamy but not weighing you down, and I loved how much sauce there was. We have leftovers! I got the limencello spritz and my friend got the Gigi mojito. Hers was definitely on the sweet side but it tasted like fresh orange. We both were like... is there alcohol in here? There was. The prices were pretty consistent with higher end gluten free Italian, not too bad. The service was so slow. I know we are in France so typically it's slower and more of an "enjoy your meal and the experience" but our table was noticeably not tended to as much as others. For example our drinks took legit 15 mins to come out after ordered them... Overall though, the food carried the restaurant. No air flow inside except for a small oscillating fan so if it's nice enough outside, that's actually your best bet. The inside has pretty lights and the chairs we sat on were green velvet which is pretty cool. read more

Pretty good pizza. I had the salami (pepperoni) my husband had the ham. Good portions. Only thing I would like better is a crispy crust.

The GF pizza and pasta were some of the best we have ever had ! The waiter was fantastic and the owner or manager was also helpful and friendly. A great restaurant! I am also N/A and they have a great selection of drinks and for those who love wine , they got you. Good outdoor seating by the harbor and a lovely indoor seating. Loved this place, my first time visiting Nice, France and we were reccomended to come here and we loved it. The drinks were insanely good (I got the Gigi mojito) and the food was DELICIOUS. The waitstaff were really sweet and attentive and patient with us Americans lol. We sat outside and enjoyed watching the boats come in and out and it was lovely. Would love to come back when I return to France! read more

10/10!!! My sister is celiac and has had her share of questionable gluten free pizza/pasta. But not this olace... Gigi is the best gluten free pizza she's ever had!! You can't even tell there isn't gluten in the crust. Highly highly recommend to anyone that is gluten free and is not gluten intolerant. All of these pizzas and pastas were amazing. If you are Celiac this is the PERFECT spot. I've been to Nice many times but this was my first trip since I've been celiac. Anyone with a dietary restriction knows how stressful travel can be and especially somewhere with another native language! GiGi Tavola has a dedicated kitchen, specific plates to mark the GF meals and tags they put in your food. They take every extra step to make sure you feel safe and comfortable eating! The menu is long so if you chose to eat multiple meals here you can indulge in various types of food. Personally, I ate here twice during my stay and tried pizza and pasta. It did not disappoint. Some of the best GF pizza I have had anywhere I've been. The truffle penne is also some of the best truffle pasta I've ever had. I find myself wishing I could order it now that I'm back home! Overall, visit this restaurant you won't regret it. You will be safe with whatever you choose to eat and it will make your experience in Nice wonderful! read more

Fantastic!! Last night of our trip and we decided to grab a bite here. I need to be gluten-free and they brought me one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had...an amazing GF bun, incredibly tasty melted cheese, special sauce, veggies...all cooked to perfection. On the side they had exceptional roasted potatoes. My wife had a delicious gluten-free pizza, and the cheese plate was huge. One of the best meals I've had, at a great price. Everything is truly gluten free as advertised. Service was not good and slow. I would not go out of my way for this place. My daughter who is allergic to gluten got better service and non-gluten food elsewhere in Paris. read more

Great happy hour deal with quick service. The aperol spritz is great. As is the mojito. It's right next to the port, so if you happen to be coming back from the Monaco bus, you can drop right in. They even give you a few appetisers to go with your beverage. Great to sit in the sun. read more

This place was a dream come true! Gluten free pizza made in a dedicated space with great flavor and consistency. Gigi's ruined Italy for me. Seriously, this pizza is incredible. I will spend the rest of my life searching for pizza in my home country that is anywhere near as delicious. More importantly, my pizza was gluten free and still this good (and my husband, not gluten free, agreed!)--it's literally the best gluten free pizza in the world. The food was great. The gluten free pizza was the best my spouse and I never had. But the service was terrible. We waited almost 45 minutes just to pay our bill. We wanted to actually get more drinks and some dessert but the waiter never came back to us after giving us our food. Once it was 1950 - 10 minutes until the end of their happy hour we said screw it. We were seated out on the terrace and had to go in to pay our bill. We almost decided to just dine and dash since they obviously don't care about their customers. At least the food was good but our waiter was absolutely dreadful. read more

I like the steak here. It's tender and juicy. The only complain I can have is abt the service. It was REALLY REALLY SLOW. The waiter forgot our drinks for a while till I reminded him and that was after our main courses. read more
