We ordered the beer cheese combo, roasted duck, the famous trio of dumplings, and finished with the Toblerone Bundt cake served with vanilla ice cream. Everything was outstanding. Amazing beer cheese better than those had at other beer gardens. The roasted duck was perfectly cooked with incredible flavor, but the real highlight was the dumpling trio. It's easy to see why they're famous--each one was unique, packed with flavor, and easily the best dumplings I had in Munich. The Toblerone Bundt cake was a decadent and delicious way to end the meal. We paired everything with several glasses of wheat beer and Helles, which complemented the food perfectly. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant offers a huge outdoor beer garden along with plenty of indoor seating, making it a great choice for both small and large groups. It's a bit on the expensive side, but the quality of the food makes it well worth it. I'd highly recommend making a reservation, as it's a very popular spot.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When we first arrived, we were told by…read morethe host (which we found out is the owner Ubendor??) they only accept guests with reservations. We made a reservation and returned, only to be told there were no tables available. What made it more upsetting was seeing other guests being seated while we were repeatedly turned away. As Asian guests, the experience left us feeling unwelcome and gave us the impression that we were being treated differently. That said, we want to recognize our waiter, Anil, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. He provided excellent service and was the highlight of our visit. We understand restaurants can be busy, but honest communication and treating every guest with the same respect go a long way. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously.

We were lucky to meet Luba who guided us to two open seats and then took our orders. The Wiener Schnitzel was so delicious. The best that we had in Munich. Breaded veal schnitzel with sautéed potatoes and marinated cranberries. The cranberries kicked the flavor up a notch. So tasty. The Kasespatzel was a cheesy Swabian style noodle dish topped with crispy fried onions. So good. So addictive. Loved the dressing on the simple side salad that came with the Kasespatzel. Wanted something cool and refreshing to drink. Went with a blackberry sparking water refresher. Luba was such a great waitress. Definitely made our favorite meal in Munich a special one to remember. Danke schon!

We had the asparagus soup which was in season (late spring), and the veal schnitzel with potatoes. Everything was seasoned and prepared very well. Our server was patient with a group of six.
