My kids did a weeklong half-day summer camp here this summer, and they loved it! The facility is brand new and spacious, and there are lots of trampolines, foam pits, objects to climb and fun things to do. The facility is two stories, so parents/caregivers can go upstairs and watch as their kids do their thing below, if they want. This was our first year doing a summer camp with Wright's, and there were a couple of kinks to work out because this was their first camp at a new facility, but overall, we enjoyed it and would go back again next year. The price for a weeklong half-day camp was very good, too -- a lot less expensive than other places. My kids came home sweaty and exhausted, which is what you want from a summer camp!

Chris Carlyle connects well with the kids and makes them feel right at home on the mat. She has great experience, is an excellent teacher, and leads an upbeat class. As an observer, I really like how close I am to be able to see them work out. It is excellent to get to see my daughter nail her cartwheel and then look right at me with that giant smile on her face! We are very pleased! NOTE: See the website for the class schedule and cost.

They did tell us that for Children under 10, the guardian has to do the hooks - so they put the kids in their harnesses and then gave us a lesson. Your fee includes required shoes that they provide for you to climb. There are cubbies where you can leave your things. I did notice they had a decent Fitness center for members - cardio, weights etc. They also had an area with a Couch, Foosball and some board games You can bring your own snacks, they did have a couple of picnic tables and has water and Gatorade for sale. They've got lockers (assuming for members and their gear) and so many different climbing opportunities. This particular setting seemed way more formal than some of the other climb centers we've been to. There were a lot of adults using different techniques and pulley systems to climb- I'm not familiar enough with all of the technology, but if you're a serious climber, this may be a better place for you to train and prepare for a real climb. They also appear to offer training classes as well as summer camps for the kids, it looks like they have quite the community here

If you're looking for a new form of exercise that is both athletic and aesthetic, this would be it!…read more I came in with a group event recently and had a lot of fun over the course of an hour or so with getting to try silks and pole fitness for the first time. The instructors lead everyone in a group warm up first and then we were split into groups to take turns with the apparatuses. I felt more naturally inclined with the silks and got to try out some beginners tricks! The pole fitness was a little harder for me but still a fun challenge. The instructors for both halves were helpful and encouraging. They have a variety of class rates (as low as $15/class) and a wide schedule of classes between this location and their new studio in Fountain Square. I'd definitely try a full silks class again!

I've never had an instructor who wasn't amazing. They meet you where you are and encourage progress at your own pace. Didn't we all dream of being Cirque du Soleil performers as kids? Just me? Anyway!…read more Cirque Indy offers classes in silks/slings and Lyra and trapeze. I participated in Sling 1, the entry level course that goes over the basics. They don't allow photos in the studio except for the end of class, so I'll describe the space as best as I can remember. There's a front room with silks, Lyra, and trapeze set up over a spring-loaded floor. They have rainbow string lights around the support beams on the ceiling where the apparatuses are mounted. Pride and BLM flags on the wall! The back room is smaller and will switch between silks and slings (silks that are a loop at the bottom instead of a knot). There's a setup for 9 of those in the back room, which also has a mirror. We started with a full body warm up in the front room and then the aerial warmup was on the slings. Instructor Emily is very good at coaching all the movements from warm up through finish in this class. Sling 1 starts with the basics of aerial movement with a lot of standing movements and some basic inversions. We learned a little combo at the end to try out, and even if you're somewhat athletic, you'll still be in for a challenge! On this review are some photos of me doing some inversions. It's actually quite secure on the sling!

They make it look so easy and our instructor Nicki did too. She was super nice and patient with us. It took a second(for me) to feel comfortable enough to try some of the moves but then I was ready to try everything lol. Its also a nice little workout. There was mild perspiration during the class and a couple of days later some minor aches from the forgotten muscles. Parking can be a lil tricky but there is a lot a little ways down from the studio if you can't find anything along the side of the building. This would be so much fun with a group of friends. It would've maybe been less intimidating to be in a group of people all at the same level but even the more experienced people in our class were helpful and supportive. Will definitely love to try it again.

There doesn't seem to be a majorly competitive/pressure-filled vibe here at all. There are kids there who have never taken a class, and some you can tell who have been doing gymnastics since they started walking, but everyone is given the same amount of time and attention. When a child masters a new skill, they get to ring a bell and everyone there claps for them---it's really cute and a great way to build self esteem in these kiddos. Classes are fairly inexpensive, as well.

I decided to save my 100th review for one of my favorite places ever…read more I guess you could say that a Groupon deal changed my life. Really. A few years ago, my friend and I needed a new place to get our regular Zumba fix, she found a Groupon for Studio Z, we gave it a shot and the rest is history. I won't go into too much detail on all the classes and instructors as the scheduling and instructors can change. I would recommend checking their Facebook for daily updates on the schedule. Let me start by saying this, this place is definitely worth visiting. Everyone here is incredibly nice and wants you to have a blast and meet your fitness goals as well. Tons of different class times and various instructors. They ALL rock and bring their own unique style to their classes. I have never not had fun in a class. You will find that some classes can be a bit more high energy/impact than others, so I recommend trying a few instructors to find what works best for you and your style. They currently offer one price to take any of the classes they offer that day, that means you could try multiple classes for the price you would normally pay for one elsewhere! They also offer unlimited type of passes. Check their website for current pricing and times of classes. Should you try this place out, don't be intimidated if others seem to know the songs really well, they just might as this place has many regulars, come try it out and as long as you are moving, you are doing Zumba right! Also, if you see me there (I try to go a few times a week), feel free to say hi to me, I love meeting new Zumba lovers! They also offer some alternatives to regular Zumba including Turbo Kick, Circuit Challenge and Zumba in the Circuit (Zumba + Circuit, one of my favorites!). Special shout out to Mary, one of the owners of Studio Z for being one of the most motivating, inspiring, crazy fun people ever. She is so welcoming to everyone and her classes are awesome. She is also a personal trainer and those services are offered here at as well. She has inspired many people (including myself) to go to the training to teach Zumba ourselves. She is even currently offering an option to allow these instructors to try out teaching with a free class option on Friday nights, amazing! I could go on and on about my love for Studio Z but really you should just get your butt here and get dancing!

They really make an effort to get to know you here, and the studio has a wide array of ages that take classes. No gymtimidation! I personally take the Pound classes, which are offered 6 days a week. It is a drumming style workout with a great mix of music. You can either pay $8 for 1 class, or do a 10 class pass for $55. I think $5.50 a class is VERY reasonable for a specialized workout like this one. They also offer lots of other classes including spinning, TRX, Zumba and more. They also have memberships as well if you want to do multiple types of classes during the month.

You can tell they are experienced at working with kids which made my daughter feel comfortable pretty quickly. She asks me at least 5 times a week when she can go back to dance- I think she would go every day if she could! The studio is also really nice, there are several areas for parents to stay and relax while the kids are in class if they choose to stay, and even space for siblings to hang out if they tag along. Highly recommend you check them out for both new and experienced dancers!!
