Cost: $480 month + 1x Activation Fee of $99 * includes what I'm assuming was 3 - 30 min training sessions weekly * nutrition * membership(gym access) The kid tasked with talking to me was friendly at the start but got really upset when I started asking basic questions. I asked who authorizes the workouts and nutrition plans, I asked what his credentials were to be a trainer, and what his background was. The person I was working with is 21 and has no background in training. He just was a person that lifted at the gym and then is now a trainer. I wasn't negative to him; I just told him I needed to think about it, which caused this guy to get annoyed with me. I chalk it up to him being young and unable to control his temperament. If you are paying 500 a month, you will ask questions to verify the validity of the product. He stated, "If you do not trust us, then we do not want you here." I explained that you don't just "trust" something blindly; you should do research because that's how you get burned. I passed on this gym as it wasn't the right fit for me. I really did consider it due to the owner; I wanted to and had a card in hand to give it a shot, but trying to give my credit card information and having some kid with an attitude keep saying over and over that if you don't trust us, then we don't want you here when I'm literally giving you a shot. That's just poor business practices. The kid called me up with a poor attitude and tone after I spoke with the owner and was excited about signing up. He reminded me of when you tell your kid to mow the lawn and he really doesn't want to; I had to stop this kid mid-conversation because his attitude was so bad and ask him if he had some personal issue with me or was offended that I had asked basic questions. I even apologized to him if he felt offended by my questions but explained that I just needed to know the source of the training as I wanted to make sure it was effective. He was just agitated that I wasn't blindly just signing up. He'll figure it out as he gains more experience. The owner does have certifications, even if he doesn't say it, I looked it up, and he is tied to a few. He also knows the process as he has put in the time. The "trainer" he tied me to at the start was the only thing that had me pause on this and move on. Always do your research on trainers. $480 a month is a lot for good training in Indiana, so ensure you get your value.

I was very hesitant to join, but was bored with my workout routine and decided to give it a try. I came in during the day and there was no staff. I had to turn around and leave because I had no bands and they want you to buy them there. I then decided was going to cancel within the first 72 hours as I figured out it wasn't going to be for me. Of course, I couldn't do this since there was no staff. The rooms are super small and it's a real hassle to follow the workout when you're on the ground and the tv is high on the wall. Lastly, if you're a man, it's highly unlikely you will like this much as it's 100% targeted towards women. The videos are cheap for them to just play on a loop and overall not a great experience. I will cancel and be out $300 because of the ridiculous 60 day notice. Don't join.

I've recently started kicking up my weight lifting/ resistance training and thought the Exercise Coach could fit into that puzzle. M This location has easy free parking and the staff was all very friendly. Their first two sessions are free and give you a great taste of what the exercise looks like- brief and power-packed. Picture hydraulic based weights with computers to gamify and tailor the workout to each individual. They offer both 1:1 workouts and group sessions. It's hard- but in the best possible way! I loved having sore muscles the next day. I think if I could purchase a package of classes that weren't based on month to month, this would fit better into my routine (reformer and other classes at the JCC and invoke). The trainers were all very friendly and encouraging. Highly recommend checking them out!
