I think it is important to support local businesses. This one used to be a good place to do…read morebusiness. A year ago I would have given it 5 stars. Not any longer. The last 4 visits here have pushed me back to the big box establishments. On one visit I needed a case of caulk. The kid working tried to charge me $96. I got it at Lowe's for $34. On another I was 2nd in line at the register and the guy ahead of me decided he needed more items. He and the store employee went shopping together bringing several items to the counter one at a time while I waited and waited and waited...I placed my items on the counter with his and left. On another I only needed a junction box cover. I could find one, I also couldn't find an employee for assistance. And on the last visit, the straw that broke the camels back, I dropped off chainsaw chains to be sharpened. 9 days later, they remained untouched. I tried! They stopped trying.

Hands down, the WORST customer service I've EVER gotten, ANYWHERE, ever! I admit, maybe I don't…read morelook like a plumber (and neither does my husband) but I would expect at least a "hello," or "I'll be right with you," when you walk in the door. The guy behind the counter refused to even acknowledge someone entered the store, and even though he was helping someone else, there was time to tell us we would be next in line. Someone eventually came out from behind closed doors, took our broken part with a sour look on his face, and asked if we knew the brand. When we didn't, he disappeared behind the same closed door, and NEVER CAME BACK. Approximately 30 minutes later, we asked the worker (who still hadn't said even ONE word to us) if perhaps we had been forgotten? (We were now the only customers in the store.) He said he would check for us, came back with the part about 5 minutes later, and said the guy "couldn't find the part." That was it - no explanation, no further inquiries, nothing. It was only a sprayer hose for a kitchen faucet, so we aren't talking about rocket science. They just didn't care, period. I have never experienced such poor customer service at any establishment (whether retail, wholesale, restaurant, hotel, whatever you can name) ever in my life. I would NEVER go back there, I wouldn't care if they were the last plumbing supply store left on the face of the planet. I guess you have to be a "regular" and / or "look the part" to even get acknowledged there - I wouldn't waste my time, people!
