We're an hour away, and I had been trying to get local chimney sweeps and masons to come deal with our house for years. I'd get an estimate, and then no one would follow up. Bone Dry showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would do, were respectful to my house, property, and people, and cleaned up after they left. We had three different crews come through to address each phase of the work, and everyone was professional, friendly, and communicative. There were a couple of small bumps, but they handled them professionally and quickly. I was, all in all, very pleased with their performance. I'm a building professional myself, and very much appreciate what they do. They're good people, and did a very good job for me. Pricing was reasonable '(this stuff is expensive - brace yourself, but these guys don't overcharge) I'd hire them again without a second thought.

Followed up a few years later by issues where moisture was entering our house through an access point and causing damage to our ceiling. They took partial blame for the situation and repaired things with partial charges. Most recently after a storm, they checked my roof and determined it was OK, but a rake board had come loose and the sales rep showed me a video verifying the need for repair. I consented. When they came to do the repair, it wound up being a simple 'nail back in place job', which was not what all I thought it would necessarily be. Combined with a single loose piece of siding that was also nailed back into place, I was charged $665 for a 10-15 minute job that required basically no materials. When I shared my concern that I felt the charge was excessive for the work performed, I was basically dismissed and charged the full amount. I realize I signed the contract, I simply didn't think the job warranted the full charge. I appreciate they got on a ladder and did work I wasn't comfortable or knowledgable enough to do, and felt a slightly lesser charge seemed to make sense for what they did. Guess I will look elsewhere for future jobs after the lack of understanding to work with me.

They put a one way door and traps; said they would be back every couple of days. When they came back they asked if we heard any noise. Of course we said no, (We work all day & when we come home its dark; squirrels don't move around that much at night). They locked it up with a metal plate and took away the trap. Well guess what.... the Squirrel is still in there. It has been scratching around the metal plate causing HUGE damage in our roof .. and to make matters worse, the squirel decided to go on a road trip and now it has moved to the other side of the house- running up & down the walls! We bought more traps, called Critter control again & the tech said.. "IT should die soon!" (Tech didn't come out) He just told us to mark the wall so once it dies & the smell comes, we can cut it out!! Wait a min... WHAT!! Story gets better... very next day, Squirel scratched his way out of the walls & is now in the crawl space. Called Critter control again; left message. We decided to buy more traps, and a camera. the Squirrel walks up the camera and looks at it. We texted Critter Control showing them the footage - need someone out ASAP - they said they have no techs available. REMIND you this has been going on over a month Jan & FEB! We have now called a different company! We will never use you Critter Control again.

There were 3 men that showed for the entire week. One who worked the equipment in the ceiling, one who worked the equipment on the ground and a younger man who went behind and cleaned the vents and returns. From my perspective, this is the most thorough any company has cleaned our vents. Not only did they vacuum out the ducts, they covered the vents prior, so debris would not come flying out and make a mess (which no other company had done). Then they followed with vacuuming the exterior of the exhaust vents and then used a spray cleaner to clean the exterior of all the vents and returns. They may have even done more, but being a commercial job, I didn't follow them around and see all that they did. I also did not have any personal interaction with them. But I can say, the vents in our 35 year old building have never been cleaner, and they didn't make a mess while doing their job either.
