1/5 stars BEWARE!…read moreThe work done by their hired hand, Matt, was fine. Drywall/Green board work was good. Here are some, NOT ALL of the bad experiences we've had: Paul's Poor planning to change out a toilet after 5 pm left a one-bathroom house without a toilet on a cold December night. Calking around tub was applied with "no consideration for appearances" since caulk tape was being applied over the top. Within a week, the tape was coming off and Paul refuses to re-caulk it without additional charges so underneath the tape is slop-job that is ugly to look at. The work on the access panel to the tub's plumbing was never finished. The gravel base and slab floor are visible in the closet. The tub faucet still has water running out the back and down the tub wall since the install. Here comes more problems with mold. And despite trying for 6 weeks as of Feb. 17, 2015 to schedule an appointment for Paul to return and finish the job they suspended on Dec. 23rd due to the Christmas Holiday with promises of returning, all he gives us are excuses and says they're too busy with other projects. We should not have paid the bill in full. He says that means we agreed the job was done. Now someone else will have to finish the job Paul Wells / A1 Hoosier Painting and More contracted in writing to do. He says I am "rude and pushy". For what? Spending 6 weeks trying to make an appointment for them to come back? He says the 30 day Satisfaction guarantee does not mean he'll fix it in 30 days, just that the customer has 30 days to report any problems. Then he says " I will not be dictated to by my customers as to when I'll return." Now he refuses to respond to my texts or emails at all.
