I had these folks come out and insulate my basement, and install new gutters on my house. The guys that's came out did a bang up job. The insulation installers even stayed late and did some extra work helping us seal up an opening access to the roof that wasn't of any use! We shopped around and the office gave us a quote that was very reasonable! Nico came out to measure and took the time to show me the state minimum thickness of insulation, and their company standard was actually thicker! I chose RCV based on the good reputation of the company under its former (local) owner. Big mistake. The company has been sold since then. During installation, the workers disconnected then never reconnected my gas water heater venting, so I had gas fumes build up overnight before I noticed. The workers were also so rough that lighting plates shattered in my home. I was told the job was complete, only to find out my guttering had not been reinstalle. The company did not mention that, and only when I called them said it would take 1 week for them to get back out and reinstall those. Instead of admitting the mistake, the manager tried to mansplain and make it seem I was being a hysterical woman. Nope. I just wanted what I was paying for. Avoid RCV if you want honest service. read more

I had a leak in my roof and called RCV to tarp it. When the RCV employee arrived he insisted on caulking down loose shingles instead of tarping my roof. In the end, I paid $400 for caulking down loose shingles and he foisted on me a new pipe boot even when it wasn't related to the leak at all. The kicker is that they hardly caulked down any shingles and my roof continued to leak. I found dozens of loose shingles right over the spot of the leak. So in the end I paid $400 for an unnecessary pipe book and half a tube of caulk while my roof continually leaked for an entire month as RCV was working on it. Update: their owner called me after I left a complaint on Facebook. During the call he offered to refund me the $400, but a few days later in his reply to my Facebook message he switched the refund to a discount on future work. Normally, offering the discount indicates that the service was at fault. But apparently RCV refuses to take responsibility for their failed service unless they can still turn a profit from you. We recently had our roof replaced by RCV and are extremely happy with our experience from the initial phone call to the final inspection. Ronnie was our estimator and he was very pleasant to deal with and talk to. He was very polite and patient with our questions. We went to the office to choose our roofing shingle color and the 3 gals in the office were very pleasant and helpful. Tai, Morgan, & Jessica were all a pleasure to work with. Don Dyer, the site inspector was also here several times checking on the progress of the job and kept us knowledgeable with the process and who was coming to do certain jobs. Marcos, who dropped the trailer was polite and immediately introduced himself when he arrived the day before, and surveyed the area where he was to park. The only lady(I don't remember her name) working with the crew interpreted for me when I had a question and we were impressed with her strength and stamina to keep up with the men, whether stripping old shingles or lifting and sending up all of the shingle bundles. There was an older gentleman working to keep the entire area around our home cleaned up constantly. He must have walked around our home 50 times, picking up waste, sweeping our deck, and using a magnet to clear nails. The entire crew was very professional. We don't usually make recommendations for work, but this company impressed us so much, we will gladly recommend them. Caused property damage and left a mess, refused to come back out to clean up or even acknowledge they were at fault. My landlord contracted this company repair the roof of the house I was renting. I was informed a week prior of the time and date of when they would be doing the work, and was happy it was being done as the roof was leaking into the house. They ended up coming the day before being scheduled, and were on the roof scraping down shingles with a shovel at around 7:15am waking me up. I went out and tried to find out what was going on and was told that they came out a day early due to rain being forecasted for the scheduled day and said the leasing office ok'd the change just a couple days prior. He then stated that they had already started and if they stopped they wouldn't be able to come out for a couple weeks. Due to the nature of my work I knew no rain was forecasted for nearly a week, and come 9am I called my leasing office and spoke with the woman whom the RCV guy name dropped. She had not spoken with them since they contracted the job to be done, and apologized for the inconvenience. I was scheduled to work a 14hr shift later in the day, so I left to go to a friend's house in order to get a few hours of sleep before hand. I came back home before my shift to discover massive amounts of shingles all over my yard and in the bushes, as well as nearly an entire box of shingle nails that must have fallen strewn out all over my back yard. Worse than this, my vehicle parked next to the house had a massive dent in the roof from a rotten wood plank (which was laying next to it), the antenna ripped off, the paint and glass covered in scratches from shingles, and a large patch of paint missing from where a shingle presumably was ripped off of it after the tar stuck. Long story short, the reason for the car not being moved was that it had broken down a few days earlier and was scheduled to be picked up later that evening before the day of the roof work was originally scheduled to be done. The RCV guy on site said that they would put a tarp over it and it would not be an issue. So, they properly damaged my vehicle, and didn't even bring a receptacle for the shingles/boards they were tossing down let alone bother to fully clean them up. You would think at the very lease the workers would just throw the debris in any direction away from the car, but I guess they couldn't bother with it. By this point it was after hours, so I called the next day asking to speak to a manager and was called back a few hours later by the same guy overseeing the work on my house. I told them about the mess and damage and they refused to send anyone out to clean up nor inspect the damage to my vehicle, saying it was not their fault that I didn't move it despite this same guy on the phone previously saying it would be a non-issue, and stated I would just need to speak with their lawyer. Maybe RCV is fine if you own the house they're working on, but my experience was truly atrocious. read more

Very professional, quality work, and good communication. We own a two-and-a-half story townhouse that shares a wall with another unit. We needed to replace the roof last summer and used RCV. They gave competitive quotes and responded quickly. I appreciated their patience over several weeks as we coordinated with our neighbor to select the roof shingle style, color, and warranty. Not many businesses as busy as RCV would take the time to walk us through different options. They were good about scheduling and communicating the day of the install. They let me know a day or two in advance and kept us updated on weather conditions. In fact, they rescheduled once because there was a chance of showers that I didn't even see on the weather. They were right and saved my roof from rain without shingles. They had our roof done in a day including a thorough clean up. They even installed a solar attic fan without charge while doing the roof. I got a estimate for there guttering service for a twenty foot long section with two downspout inserts and two end caps ,no installation and it was $276.00 I about fell off of my chair so I went to their place of business and asked if this was a mistake or what, I was told by the receptionist that no one was there at this time and she would have someone call me the next day. The next day came and after numerous calls I got a hold of them and talked to Josh about the job stating that I wanted one twenty foot section with only one downspout insert and two end caps and I would come and pick it up, he told me it would $140.00 and they could not have it done today, I thanked him and went to Lowes and got two ten foot sections, downspout inserts, end caps, seamer to connect the two pieces and anchor bolts for $43.00.
