Nice cozy Irish style brewpub S of downtown Penticton…read more Parking is plentiful in the lot attached to the building. The inside looks vintage. Lots of dark wood trim. The usual. There are several screens on the wall, which would satisfy any sports fans. Staff are friendly. No complaints. The fish & chips here are pretty solid. I had mine with onion rings and coleslaw. Typical tasty pub food. Hit the spot. As of my visit they have 5 beers (light to medium). Enough for a flight basically. Can't go wrong. Good choice for getting food in the area.

I had a family dinner here last night. Nice atmosphere for family and friends ideal for dinner and…read morehangouts. We ordered 20oz draft lager ($8.75), Calamari ($18), Dry Ribs ($17), Pulled Pork Sandy ($19.50), and Rose Alfredo Pasta ($19). We meant to say we ordered Baby Back Ribs as waitress misheard it as Dry Ribs. We missed the timing to correct out order. Everything was pretty good except Dry Ribs. Calamari was crispy and flavourful. Dry Ribs didn't stand out as much. It was just dry ribs with salty and peppery flavour in a small portion. Pulled Pork Sandwich was fantastic with plentiful of fries. Sandwich was nicely made with coleslaw. Meat stuffing was delicious as well. Rose Pasta was mouthwateringly tasty. Garlic bread was so good even with Rose pasta sauce. Staff were nice and friendly. Barley Mills was a great place for our dinner last night. There was a pool table by the washroom if any customers want to play pool with friends after work. It was quite a memorable dining experience. Food was two thumbs worthy. I would love to dine here again with my family.

The menu is varied, but not too overcrowded, making choosing simple, yet still catering for various tastes and palettes. Some items are limited, such as the Burnt Ends, due to the time it takes to smoke and cook. If they're available I would highly recommend getting. So tender and flavourful. There's a good selection of craft beers, as well as a few non-alcoholic options to drink. We were seated pretty quickly, and service was fast, friendly and attentive. We never felt an urge to be rushed. Although I suspect in peak season this place will be extremely busy and crowded, so would strongly suggest making a reservation before showing up.

Now this is like a place in Oakatoks Alberta. It is a barbecue place with all kinds of meats. We weee seated promptly and had the option of outside or in. We chose in as we felt it would be a bit cooler as we had been out all day. Now the food. We ordered 2 sets of wings. One plain and one barbecue. They were not the best. I would say anywhere else they would be better. I had the brisket plate with coleslaw and potato salad. There were only 2 pieces of brisket. For the price I expected more. The coleslaw was good. The potato salad was the first tine I couldn't finish it. It was not the amount it was the taste. It seemed that there was horseradish added to it. The horseradish was so overpowering it just tasted awful. The cornbread that was ordered was boring. I like it a bit crunchy and this was just plain and not very favourable. The last was a plate of full rack of St. Louis ribs, Mac and cheese. The ribs were plenty but the smaller version. Mac and cheese was underwhelming and the corn bread. The atmosphere was great and they had a country singer there. She was good. Overall I will go back again to try something different.
