I checked in 1 hr before my 3pm appointment and was advised about 1.5hr, if someone's late for their appointment they will just slot me in. Right at 3:30 I did get my call to pick up my keys. Here is the tragic moment, I was 3rd or 4th in line to pick up my keys...and it took 35min for me to get to the service desk, behind me was a queue of 8-10 people. For some reason they only had two people assisting customers and the two people were running every customer in order that they arrive except if you had an appointment to drop off you could skip the queue. I hope this location considers changing up priorities, maybe dedicating one person to do the appointment sign up and tire purchase, while the other person is for intake and outgoing customers who simply need to drop off keys or pick up. Then second person can step in and do transactions if no queue. Overall there seems to be a lack of team work behind the counter. My struggle was the time and my senior parent was with me- I would have left my senior parent sitting in the food service area if we knew it would take SO LONG. As a bonus, the shop does note the tread condition for the tires they remove and store in your car so you know how it is and when you need to change it. I got brand new summer tires on May 2, they were able to pull my winter tires off, pull the rim from my summer in my trunk and load it up, balance and the works- and load my winters in- so basically a tire change with my purchase. It's appreciated. My experience may have been also associated with a Saturday visit- I guess if I went on a weekday during business hours my experience might be very different.

I am still so embarrassed because I reacted towards the check out woman. The cashier told me to fill up my bag because my cart was full. My husband was pushing the cart and had the receipt. He was walking slower than me and I forgot to stop . She yelled and demanded I come back! Then demanded I move stuff in my bag so she could check it. She could have moved it but demanded I do it. It was heavy ! I only had two hands. Like I was a thief. (Big scene) Spent almost $500.00. To spend money on a membership card to have the privilege to shop there, I am not sure I will renew my card membership, when it is time to renew. Never encountered such an upsetting exit before. Yes she has a job to do but that was beyond rude. Otherwise have never had a problem at the Guelph outlet.

The food and home hold items seems to be more popular compared to the clothing. People seem to more in the rest of the store than in the clothing area for the most part Clothing doesn't look and feel like it's necessarily the best quality. Food seems to be around a similar price to Metro and Fresho (even with sales). Household stuff looks like slightly better versions of the Dollarama versions. Sales and clearance items go pretty quickly (especially anything with significantly reduced price)

There's also an elevator if you need one. This store was pretty busy. I liked what it had to offer. Pepsi products greeted me. I liked the Mickey Mouse set with a whisk, towel, and spatula. It was cheerful and cute. The ice cube trays were cool. I liked the larger cube moulds. They were bright and had silicone at the bottom of each cube, allowing you to easily pop cubes out for your refreshments. The snacks and drinks aisles were impressive. I liked the variety. The chip selection was excellent. I came here for pasta sauce and macaroni. I found everything that I needed. I headed to the cashout area. There was one human cashier. There were roughly eight self-checkout kiosks there. I used the latter. It's hit or miss using one at Dollarama. Sometimes, it's smooth sailing. Other times, it seems to want to give me a hard time. Luckily, I was able to scan my two items and pay without any issues. I didn't buy a lot. I had parked a good distance away from this store, so carrying them wasn't an issue. If I had made a larger purchase, I wouldn't have been as happy lugging everything that far away. It's a good store. It's convenient if you are at the mall and need something. The home section is small compared to Home Sense but the amount of pet related items seems more in comparison to other stores. As of late, I've seen more shampoo bars being sold at various stores. It was the first time that I've seen environmentally friendly toothbrushes at a Marshalls. There were wooden/bamboo handle ones as well as ones with handles made with a biodegradable material.

Everything was grouped together really well. All of the kitchen, general household, and bathroom cleaning supplies were all in one big aisle along the right wall. They always seemed to have a few options for each item even things like disposal vinyl gloves, toilet bowl scrubbers, and mop systems. I was happy to see that they carry a limited selection of Scrub Daddy products. These were $4 each which is a little cheaper than what other stores are charging. When I went to checkout, the cashier was very pleasant. I was in and out of there within 5 minutes. Parking is easy in the plaza and it's actually very close to the 403 on ramp, so the whole trip was very quick.

I was at the check out and asked if the manager was in the person at the next till said he was not but could help me. I said to him " I thought you might like to know some employees are talking loudly about how much they hate their jobs in front of customers" This person replied with " I talk about how much I hate this job all the time HAHAHAHA" I have only ever seen very few employees with any kind of class working in a Dollarama. This fools reply shows just how much this company values their customer's.
