I asked for their manager, the staff said she was gone for the day and refused to let me know what time the manager would be working next day. Awful customer service especially when the economy isn't smooth. Many other people who are good in customer service are looking to be hired. Hire those one who treat their customers right!

A $40 pair of heeled faux suede shoes I got here had the heel sole fall off on both sides in two months of occasional wear. Got a wallet here and after 3 months of light use, the zipper broke. Clothes are pretty good quality though. I still have a pair of sweatpants from like 4 years ago that I wore at least 4 times a week for a like 2 years, and I still wear them, and they look fine.

This GAP store is really huge and found in the newer section of Square One. Though it has a space…read moreof a big box store, it doesn't use it's space to be filled with clothes. Rather, there's lot of walking and aisle space. This is great for those insane weekends before Christmas. Otherwise, it looks like an unpopular store. The service here is one of the worst. I never had an associate greet me or help me in anything. If I do try to talk to someone, they often have zero knowledge. I once asked someone about the online coupon I had and if it applied to sale items as well. The associate had no clue and just said "I don't know." and proceeded to stare at me for the next awkward 10 seconds. I asked them if someone in the store would know the answer. Off he went and I swear to you, he did not appear till I was purchasing my items 25 minutes later with still no answer. The inventory here is not as great as Sherway or Yorkdale. They tend to stock the plainer items and more casual ones. I wouldn't call their stock outright ugly but it looks closer to the Old Navy items just down the hallway instead of the ones in the better malls. If I have to shop at the Gap, I would prefer to shop online or any other mall before coming here. It's rare for me to walk out of this store with something in my hand.
