I was glad because there was a white dress I wanted to buy. I walked in, the saleslady who was sitting on the bench outside RAN after me. I looked around, saw a few pieces then I ask her for MY size. Her reply was: 1....thousand...2hundred... [ VERY SLOWLY] I wanted to introduce her face to my palm. But I contained myself. I'm NEVER going back there, I go downtown instead. People think there's no racism in Canada! She thought because I'm non-white; I couldn't afford it. We'll see how long this place will stay open as many stores are closing in the area.!

Not too big but has what you want I've gotten Henkels sauce and fry pans here, a meat tenderizer and utensils, and all have been very fairly priced. The displays make sense, staff are extremely helpful and its never too crowded. Worthy of mention: The Henkels stuff was taken from a set. They do this in addition to selling the sets as it makes it easier for customers to get the lice they want without having to buy an entire set. Henkels has given the all clear on this, and the prices are better because of it. They also carry their own line of silicone utensils which are very affordable ($4 I think) as well as the brand name stuff. Worth the trip!

Sometimes they're on a roll and have good products, loll you into safety and you let your guard down and then bam, spoiled food starts again. And now, the last couple of weeks, dairy is also spoiled. I noticed that they took all dairy out from the fridges one time, next time they put them back. But they were all spoiled. So it looks like the fridges malfunctioned, but they're still selling the spoiled food. I wonder who makes these dangerous decisions? I'm seriously considering not renewing my membership this year, because my options are driving an extra half an hour to a well run store or gambling with my family's health

Most of the time I can typically find items at a great price here compared to other places such as shoppers and other places. I also get my seasonings and cleaning supplies for kitchen bath and laundry from here as well and I found the items to be great quality and best of all amazing prices. They also have a lot of tools and machinery type items which is great for house hold things that need to be fixed. There's also a large isle of party supplies and paper plates and such. I feel like I always get a lot of items every time I come visit and I don't always spend as much as I thought I would especially when you compare to any other place that you would go to the prices here are definitely outstanding and the quality speaks for itself. This shop isn't a large shop but they manage to pack a lot of things in here. Besides the ladies clothing they also have things like wallets, bags, jewellery & some kitchen stuff (mugs, linens). Their winter scarves & gloves were on sale so I got a very pretty blue scarf too! I'd never heard of this store before as I don't frequent the Danforth area much. But I'm glad I came here after my friend recommended it. This is the kind of store I like to support. Ironically they carry one of the brands I like: Blue Sky Clothing. I had been buying this brand's clothing online. So it's nice to be able to try on the clothing at El Pipil! I'm definitely coming back in the future to buy clothing & other things.

This department store sells everything from small kitchen appliances to clothing to beauty products to home decor. They are similar to One's with availability of some unique mugs, plates, and thermos type products. They also sell air fryers, rice cookers, pots and pans, and personal care appliances. On my first visit here I was able to purchase Japanese waterproof eyeliner, a plastic bench scraper for cutting dough, and a nail clipper. Prices are reasonable with all of these products in the price range of $1 to $17. Cash only for purchases is less than $30.

Imagine my surprise when I showed up at 9:05 am, the mall was literally empty, and the store was closed! I grabbed a coffee and caught up on Yelp for one hour! The carafes were beautiful, but when I arrived home (after storing them carefully in my trunk, in a basket wedged with towels), one of the carafes had a nick on the opening. I was able to return the damaged carafe with minimum hassle, but decided not to keep the other two. They seem to be very fragile. Since the items were pre-wrapped and placed in a bag, I would suggest you check your items before leaving the store (I normally do!) It would be great if they wrapped items with several layers; instead of loosely wrapped once. They have some unique houseware, stationery, and clothing items, but on the pricy side.
