My husband and I love the buffalo chicken pizza but this place is too inconsistent. We ordered the black and blue burgers from here and wow they were disgusting. Instead of asking how you want it cooked they ask if you "want pink or no pink" dead giveaway it's frozen patties. Anyway burgers come out and they're grey. My husband is a rare kinda guy but this was just disgusting. He went up to the register because our server made it pretty clear it would be another 10 minutes or so before we saw her. Their food is not that great. You can probably get better pizza in the frozen section at your local grocery store or gas station. Also if your ordering delivery... Forget it you are looking at an hour or more. To top that they like to make up their own tips on your receipt. We were told $26 and when it came out of our account it was $36. Giant pizza is the best place around!! Great tuna grinders, mozz stix are excellent, the teriyaki wings are out of this world, the pizzas are cut in squares which is perfect to share with the whole family and is very delicious. I have been coming to giants for years. Always been our go-to for take-out. This last year we stopped. The prices going up and the quality going down. We found a better pizza place. I really would like to give this place a better rating but the service is just awful!!!!!! We actually live in Rhode Island but have family nearby so sometimes when we are passing by we stop for lunch. The first few times I thought the slow and unfriendly service was a fluke but after today, I am throwing in the towel and will not return. It takes forever to get your food in this place and when you do it is literally dropped in front of you and the waitress runs off before asking if there is anything else you need......like napkins.......plates......and silver wear. She came back at the end of the meal to see how everything was while at the same time dropping the check and disappearing. Ordered delivery on Wednesday evening, two pizzas, wings, fries and a taco salad. Delivery took about an hour. Driver forgot the salad (which happens) but when I called and spoke to the women taking the orders on the phone she was very rude. I told her the issue and she put me on hold & after she came back she told me the driver would bring it back. I said thank you but she had already hung up. Been in the danielson location recently and witnessed the tall skinny women manager treat the girl ringing me out horribly, the girl was clearly newer and she had asked her a question and the manager just rolled her eyes and gave immediate attitude I felt sorry for the girl. When I got home which is only 5 minutes down the road my food was cold and I realized my order was wrong. When I called to inform them I asked if I could speak to the manager and she was very rude saying if I didn't want something on the pizza I should've clarified better but I'm not sure how much clearer I could've been with saying no anchovies on my special, I told her this and she just hung up on me. Definitely will not be returning and I think the owner should look into restaffing some of his management clearly they lack decency and have no customer service knowledge. read more

They keep changing how they make things. It is annoying and does not help to give an accurate review cuz one minute they are using one type of meat or sauce and the next it's completely different. I do not know if they keep changing hands or are just neurotic like that, but it is bad for business. They used to be good at one point, then bad, then good again, then bad. I have a love hate relationship with this place. I really like the pizza especially the buffalo chicken but delivery is awful. Three times we have had very long weight times, two have been over 1.5 hours. Today I decided I would try again being during the week. I called at 11:45 am and I got my pizza's at 1:20. While waiting I called the restaurant and was told they had an over load of takeout calls and the delivery should be soon. I asked if my pizza would be cold as it was the time before when it took this long and I was assured it wouldn't be. It was. Not fresh. I live only about 15 mins away but I had extra kids over for the day otherwise I would have picked up. From now I will only carry out. Even eating in I'd give two stars for service as well. I decided today to go to an old high school favorite. Not what I remember at all. Service was slow. I know that they do a take out and delivery service but 25 min just to place our order. That aside our sever Dawn was friendly. She took out orders 2 of them only one was correct. She had apologized an said that the mistake was her fault. I have to give her applause for that. Not many servers if any will admit to there mistake. So way to go Dawn. She quickly took the grinder back to have it corrected to just come back out with all the stuff I didn't want on it just scraped off. I am not a lettuce fan at all. Very disappointed. To me the only thing I could taste of the grinder was lettuce. I did not want to (That Customer) and complain again after not getting it right the first time so I sucked it up and ate it. I know people just maybe having a bad day. But to have to mishaps like this make me wonder were is the management. The manager could have came to the table and after the mistake. And I may have said something then to him/her. I will go back because oh the wonderful experiences that I have had in the past here. read more

Food is mediocre at best, delivery was a disaster and the manager couldn't care less. At noon I placed a delivery order. Over an hour later it arrived with the pizza missing. I called right away and was told they were going to contact the driver. About 20 minutes later, someone called me back asking what happened. She was very confused and couldn't quite understand that I was given a calzone and not the pizza I ordered. Thirty minutes after that, I still hadn't received the pizza. I called and was told it was on it's way. Ten minutes later, the restaurant called asking for directions. At that point I called back and asked for the manager. I wanted to be refunded for the pizza. I was told that they couldn't do that and I would have a giant pizza credit in the computer. I've never heard of such horrible service. Two and a half hours from start to finish and the pizza arrived. Only to have my four year old ask why is was so "mushy". One would think with their lousy food, they would want to make up for it in the customer service area. But then again, many people in the area have no idea what good food is so Giant Pizza just doesn't care.
